In today's episode, I am bringing you some practical ways to manage your time by adopting the rhythm of nature to achieve your goals with less resistance. During this time where we are all confined at home, it's going to be very important to stay motivated during the long waiting phase and have some rhythm to remain productive. Even before this lockdown, we have all experienced times when nothing seemed to be moving as we wanted. The more we tried hard and continued doing more of what we did to get out of the inertia, the more we dug deeper and couldn't find a way to get out of this apathy. It turns out that understanding how energy works and how flow happens can help us tremendously to get unstuck and start moving things again. In this episode, I cover the 5 types of energies available, how to use them to experience flow in our life, and how to apply the same principles in our daily life to boost our productivity.  If you are ready to make the best possible of this long waiting time and create your online presence with digital assets that make money, get in touch at www.francinebeleyi.com/call The season 6 of the show is coming next time with amazing guests and a focus on how to make the most of the online work. You'll learn how health experts, online marketing gurus, educators, business people, psychologists and more are making the most of the online world to have a more significant impact.

I am excited to share today’s message because I think this is one of the missing pieces when it comes to translating our dream into action and what is preventing most people from living the life they want finally. We may hear the importance of dreams but don’t get the other part of the equation to make our vision happen. To be able to Act, we have to bring focus into what we are here to do, i.e. find a way to help us going in the right direction. This is what A Mission Statement can help us do and the topic of this episode. How do we create a personal mission statement for our dream? Why is that important? Listen to this episode to discover the 5-part process that I use for myself and for my clients to create a clear roadmap to achieve your dream. This step by step method is extracted from the Pillar #1 Know Yourself of the 7 Pillars of the YEANICCTMframework in my book Personal Branding in the digital age. It is the foundation to build an Influential Personal brand. The show notes are available www.francinebeleyi.com/podcast. If you love this episode, leave me a review and share it with your friends. In the previous episode, I invited you to find and articulate your dream, one that is going to fire you up for the next 5-10 years. I hope you’ve already identified that. Time is our most valuable asset in this busy and fast-moving world we live in. We know that we can reach our goals faster when we are clear on our priorities. Be strict with what we say yes to, focus on them and ditch the rest of our activities. But the problem is that sometimes we have to prioritise what is already prioritised. Today’s episode is about how to manage your priorities when everything seems to be important. You’ll learn my top three tips to stay on the top of things and one essential tool you can use to sort out your most important priorities. You’ll find a useful template in the show notes to help you prioritise your activities as well as a daily, weekly and monthly plan to get things done and manage your time effectively. Welcome to Season 5 of MWML podcast and to the episode 50. I know that some of you have started the year 2020 with big fat juicy goals, aspiration and desire you want to accomplish this year and the next decade but I also know that for some you, this is an excruciating exercise. You are not sure about your dream or how to articulate it in a way that it becomes your driving force in life.  When we talk about doing meaningful work and creating a meaningful life, you got to know what that looks like for you. One of the reasons we don’t get joy, satisfaction in our work or in our life is that we often play small. We set a small goal we can achieve and as soon as we realise that small goal, we have to find a new goal to keep us going; and sometimes we get stuck and until we find something meaningful enough to hang on to. What if instead, we have a big dream; a dream so big that it scares us; a dream that will take a while to come to pass? This is what I invite you to do with me at the beginning of this year 2020. You've heard that the best way to predict the future is to create it. My goal in this episode and this season is to help you find and articulate your dream, something that is going to fire you up for the next 5-10 years. She quitted a well-paid job working for pharmaceutical companies in sales and marketing to get to the Caribbean island with no job with a few weeks of accommodation. In today’s episode, I am featuring the Trader profile, the fifth of the 8 Wealth Dynamics profiles. I have the pleasure to welcome Karen Revell, money and mindset coach who work with service-based entrepreneurs, and business leaders to help unlock their wealth. Karen distinguishes four aspects to wealth: Financial wealth, an abundant lifestyle or living a rich life that doesn't necessarily relate to money, your self-worth: how you see yourself, your own identity and your inner wealth: your strengths, your talents, your genius. Unlike most entrepreneurs who left the corporate world to do what they love; Karen was very much in flow in her corporate job. She climbed the ladder and had success in my career, earning well over six figures and in fact that enables her to build her financial wealth and retire from my job in her 40s. She now split her time between the UK & Spain. She believes that we should be earning money doing what we love as long as that is aligned with our talents and our strengths. Her message is to understand that we can all work for ourselves, we can all be entrepreneurs, but you do need to know your talent, your personality, your strengths and do build your business your way in alignment with who you are and what you're here to do rather than following role models that are absolutely not right for you. She also shares how understanding her Trader profile was a huge relief as she stops to compare herself to other entrepreneurs. The show notes are available www.francinebeleyi.com/podcast. Welcome to season 4 of Meaningful Work, Meaningful Life podcast. In this season, I am breaking things down more specifically and featuring guests who are giving you practical techniques and tools to live a more meaningful life. My aim is to bring a very practical dimension to our conversation around the 3 Ms (meaning, Money and Movement) and decrypt the science of achieving happiness in life. Some people read a book, enjoy it and hopefully take some notes to improve their business or their life. Most people simply forget what they’ve read after a while. But a few are so impacted by what they’ve read that they decide to stand up and do something to change their life. This was the case with Dr Jess Wade, a physicist at Imperial College London turned into a prolific Wikipedia editor. Her life has changed over the last few years thanks to the book ‘Inferior’ by Angela Saini. “For a long time, I felt I was too small and insignificant to do anything that was impactful,” she says. Jess is now called a ‘one-woman powerhouse’! She is a scientist on a mission. She wants every woman who has achieved something impressive in science to get the prominence and recognition they deserve – starting with a Wikipedia entry. Listen to my fascinating conversation with Dr Jess Wade to find out: How she struggled with maths before ending up being a top scientist What a day in her life looks like How to become a Wikipedia editor What to do about the lack of support that affect the confidence of women to pick science subjects How she combats the impostor syndrome to reach higher goals How to build the case to get powerful people in the conversation to support diversity And much more... Discover how a people-pleaser became a top expert in negotiation and conflict management. Today, I have the great pleasure to have on the show, Kwame Christian, a lawyer and expert in negotiation and conflict management. He is the Director of the American Negotiation Institute and a professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the top ranked dispute resolution program in the country, and Otterbein University’s MBA program. He is the author of the best-selling book Nobody Will Play With Me: How to Use Compassionate Curiosity to Find Confidence in Conflict. Kwame also hosts the top negotiation podcast, ‘Negotiate Anything’. Kwame’s shares his personal struggles earlier in life with difficult conversations; which led him find a way to better deal with that by exploring psychology, human behavior and how the thoughts and beliefs influence our behavior and the way that people think. “When it comes to these difficult conversations, it's not a question of whether or not we do it, it's a question of whether or not we do it well,” he says. People often default to an avoiding strategy to avoid conflict. But he encourages us to be proactive when it comes to solving these problems and mending the relationship. He explains the Compassionate Curiosity framework, a simple 3-step process to negotiate anything. Kwame believes that with every conversation, there's an opportunity to learn, to make things better and to communicate at a higher level.   The show notes and references of the show are available go to www.francinebeleyi.com/podcast.
