Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:45 We can’t believe how quickly September has been going. I’m still angry at the non mask-wearers in stores. We’re worried about the election and are trying to be prepared.  Royals: Minutes 3:45 to 12:15 Meghan and Harry continue to live their best life. They just gave $130,000 to Camfed to match the Sussex Squad’s donation and send African girls to school. They also did it with their own money. Chandra brings up the point that we never hear about royals giving their own money to charity. It was Prince Harry’s birthday last week and so the Cambridges, Prince Charles and The Royal Family posted photos for him. None of them included Meghan and the one the Cambridges posted was literally of Harry running away from Kate and William on a track. Minute 6:00 Richard Kay ran a dumb story in the Daily Mail claiming that Prince Harry never smiles when he’s with Meghan, that he’s super sad in general, and calling Harry “woefully out of touch to the problems faced by modern Briton.” This is ridiculous considering the other royals live in castles and Harry is paying his own way now. Richard Kay also said that it’s protocol that you’re not supposed to include photos of spouses in birthday wishes on social media. Courtney in our Zoom meeting found a photo from Prince Charles for Kate’s birthday that disproves this. I play a segment from Zoom that includes Alnaaze, Tanisha and Courtney. Minute 9:45 Another shady story in ET claimed that the royal family is not pleased about the Sussexes’ Netflix deal because of the one year review period. Also the senior royals don’t want their work to be eclipsed by the Sussexes. This has been clear for years, as the Cambridges have been actively trying to step on the Sussexes’ press cycles. Also we heard in The Sun that Prince William is “livid” that Harry is working with Netflix, since they put out The Crown. Prince William only has one emotion apparently.  Cardi B and Offset’s divorce: Minutes 12:15 to 16:45 Cardi B, 27, filed for divorce from Offset, 28. They have a two year old daughter, Kulture. He was predictably cheating on her. She’s taken him back when he’s cheated before and she’s been open about that and about all the work she did. They’ve been married three years, they last split in late 2018, and then he crashed one of her performances and begged her to take him back. There were stories for years that he was cheating on her and Chandra calls it a compulsion. We think she has more money and assets than him and are worried about her. I play a segment from Zoom where Karen, Ameerah, Rhiannon and Tanisha talk about Cardi B and Offset’s divorce. Chris Evans: Minutes 16:45 to 22:00 Chris Evans accidentally posted his own dick pic. It came up in his camera roll at the end of a video he posted to Instagram. Chandra retweeted that video and took a screenshot, which she posted on Twitter. That got her put in Twitter jail for a day where she wasn’t able to post at all.  After that accident, Chris posted a message with a facepalm and shrug emoji saying “now that I’ve got your attention, vote November 3.” Chris has one of those “Guard that Pussy” memes on his phone with a picture of himself and everyone loved that. I play a segment from Zoom where Zakia, Tanisha, Karen and Rhiannon talk about Chris Evans. User Feedback: Minutes 22:00 to 25:00 We got a question on Twitter about whether we think Will and Kate will be in it to the bitter end no matter what like The Queen and Prince Philip. This was in response to a story about how Prince Philip’s cheating is being glossed over and denied in a new biography about him by Ingrid Seward. Comments of the Week: Minutes 25:00 to 29:30 My first comment of the week is from Ms. on Hecate’s post about the mob of anti-maskers at Target. Chandra’s comment of the week is from lucy2 on the post about Nico Mary responding to a comment that she’s hating on Angelina Jolie. My second comment of the week is from BeyondTheFringe on the post about Brad Pitt’s girlfriend’s husband carrying Brad’s wine at his restuarant. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 2:30 We’ll be back next week but are taking the last week of September off and won’t have a podcast on September 27th.  Royals: Minutes 2:30 to 15:45 The Sussexes got a development deal with Netflix, thought to be worth around $100 million although that’s just speculation. Netflix co-CEO Reed Hastings gushed about them and said that he’s so excited for that deal. You can tell that they’re modeling themselves after the Obamas Netflix deal. Minute 4:15: Harry and Meghan paid off the $3.1 million spent for the renovations of Frogmore cottage. How run down was the cottage if it cost over $3 million to renovate it? Despite the fact that they paid it off, royal commentator Richard Kay wrote a snide article in the DM bringing up some old resentment about Harry and Meghan keeping details about Archie’s birth and christening private. He also made it sound bad somehow that Harry and Meghan paid off the renovations and like there’s mystery around it. There’s so much undue criticism of Harry and Meghan. Chandra wrote an article titled The Mail is sure that the Sussexes’ Netflix deal is horrible, but they can’t figure out why, which summed it up so well.  Minute 8:00: Royal biographer Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Conversations with the Prince in 2018, told The Daily Mail: “This is the biggest exploitation of the Royal Family that has been in our lifetime. I think this was plotted right from the beginning, before the wedding even. Meghan has used the Royal Family…” Of course this wasn’t Meghan’s plan. Katie Nicholl at Vanity Fair wrote an article about Frogmore Cottage describing dust covers over the furniture and expensive art, as if that’s a bad thing. We wonder if they’re just going to leave it like that, which would be their prerogative. The Queen could technically take Frogmore Cottage away from them as it’s a crown property.  Minute 10:30: Now there are calls from a Tory MP named Henry Smith (along with Piers Morgan of course) to strip the Sussexes of their titles. This can’t be something anyone is considering seriously. Minute 11:30: In May, Tatler ran a shady cover story about Duchess Kate titled Catherine The Great, which we’ve talked about quite a bit on the podcast. Newsweek recently found that the palace never sued Tatler or issued a formal complaint about it but that there was a paragraph removed from the article online. That was about Rose Hanbury's rumored affair with William, and the Turnip Toffs. Either Prince William didn’t want the public reminded of his affair or Tatler didn’t want to reveal their source.  Brad Pitt: Minutes 15:45 to 21:30 Brad Pitt, 56, is dating a 27 year-old German model named Nicole (Poturalski) Mary whom he rolled out in the celebrity press like he was super proud to be with a millennial wannabe Instagram influencer. We have heard that she’s in an open marriage with a 68 year-old restaurateur with whom she has a child. Pitt’s people clearly didn’t do their research on her.  Brad’s side is trying to paint Angelina as jealous, all while the judge in their divorce case is being accused of having ties to Brad’s lawyers. Brad clearly thought this girlfriend rollout would make him look like a stud. Of course they’re now saying it’s casual and the “Brad doesn’t want a girlfriend that he’s with every day.” I play a segment from Zoom where Karen and Zakia talk about Brad’s bad PR game. Tiddles was Real: Minutes 21:30 to 25 I play a segment from Zoom where Rhiannon said that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston didn’t have a real relationship. Ameerah and I disagree. Courtney says he’s a sweet earnest man and remembers when he quoted Shakespeare to ducks. (That interview was in 2013, Tom and Taylor got together in 2016.) Amber mentions that the song “Getaway Car” is about how Taylor used Tom to get out of her relationship with Calvin Harris. Chandra and I agree that Tiddles was real and that Tom cared about Taylor. We think she used him though. She mentions that Tom is now dating his former costar, Zawe Ashton and that they’re living together in Atlanta. User Feedback: Minute 25:00 to 25:30 Thanks Darla and wildwaffles for your nice comments about our signoff. Comments of the Week: Minutes 25:30 to 30 Chandra’s comments of the week are from lascivious chicken and ce on the post about Trump spending $800 million  already. My comment of the week is from eezer on the post about Kerri Walsh Jennings being an anti-masker. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 7:30 I’ve been walking and I really like it. Chandra has always liked walking. She’s also been watching tennis, which is back finally. We will be taking next week off for Labor Day and won’t be putting out a podcast on September 6th. We will be back on September 13th but may take another week off this month, most likely on September 27th.  Royals: Minutes 7:30 to 17:00 Meghan has been doing general get out the vote appearances. She is working hard to be non-controversial and to lend her voice to generally good causes. It’s not particularly political and she didn’t endorse Biden. The British royal commentators went crazy over that. Dan Wootten called it “completely inappropriate and a massive diplomatic embarrassment” and Piers Morgan said she should be stripped of her titles – just for telling people to vote! Meghan also did a video with Gloria Steinem encouraging people to vote. She said she was excited to see Kamala Harris running and revealed that Harry introduced himself to Gloria Steinem by saying he was a feminist.  Omid Scobie, the author of Finding Freedom, said on his Heirpod podcast that Kate and Meghan were never close and that Kate disappointed Meghan by not reaching out to her. Kate saw Meghan as competition and we knew that back when it happened. Of course there are more stories embiggening Kate and pointing out how keen she is. Chandra pointed out that we hear that Kate is keen just about twice a year every year. Kate’s biographer Katie Nicholl also wrote a shady article in VF heavily insinuating that Meghan is doing these get out the vote awareness videos because she can’t get paid speeches. Republican National Convention: Minutes 17:00 to 27:00 I can’t stand listening to the speeches at the RNC and turn off the sound when I need to get screenshots from the videos. Chandra makes fun of Don Jr. and Jared Kushner’s dippy voices. Kimberly Guilfoyle and Don Jr. were coked out. Tiffany Trump got Ivanka-style veneers and is copying Ivanka’s lispy voice. Her makeup was so overdone and she looked like a raccoon with sparkly eyeshadow. There was a joke tweet that Brock Turner was going to speak at the RNC, but because of all the other terrible speakers people believed it at first. There was the couple from Missouri who brandished guns at BLM protestors and the obnoxious 17-year-old kid from Kentucky who mocked a Native American Man. I especially loved when that healthcare advocate for the Republicans said that Democrats were for “a right to marijuana, opioids, and the right to die with dignity.” Well yes we are. We remember when we thought Bush was the worst. I play a segment from Zoom with Ameerah, Angelina and Rhiannon talking about the RNC.  Rhiannon was particularly bothered by Nick Sandman, the 17 year-old from Kentucky. Chandra agrees with Rhiannon that the Republicans’ entire message is racism, and that was particularly obvious in the speech from the gun-toting couple from Missouri, the McCloskeys. We also talk about the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Cops let 17-year-old terrorist Kyle Rittenhouse walk away after he murdered people at a protest. The Kenosha police chief’s speech was despicable and sided with Rittenhouse. The conservative commentators are disturbing and predictable in their defense of Rittenhouse, especially Tucker Carlson. Jerry Falwell Jr.: Minutes 27:00 to 31:00 Former Liberty University President, Jerry Falwell Jr., is in a scandal with his wife, Becki, after a now 29-year-old man and former pool attendant, Giancarlo Granda, said that he had a relationship with the Falwells from 2012 to 2019. Giancarlo, who was in business with the Falwells and often traveled with them, would have sex with Becki while Jerry watched. Jerry tried to blame it on Becki, who has said that it’s not true that Jerry watched. I play a segment from Zoom where Rhiannon, Zakia, Tanisha, Karen and Courtney talk about this. Jerry is blaming this on the fact that it’s an election year and he endorsed Trump. User Feedback: Minutes 31:00 to 32:30 Thanks Sandra for the nice text message. Dog Obsessed Girl let us know that our intro music is in a Bravaa kitchen appliance commercial. I paid $75 for the rights to that song, so I guess I can’t expect it to be ours alone. Comments of the Week: Minutes 32:30 to 36:45 My comment of the week is from Pamspam on the post about Melania ruining the White House Rose Garden. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:30 Chandra had a bad experience getting her car inspected. My son is learning how to drive and I kind of like it. You can listen below! The Royals: Minutes 3:30 to 25:30 I’m burnt out on the Sussexes and the royals after reading Finding Freedom in a few days. Chandra points out that the book started as Harry and Meghan’s love story but that it got changed. You could tell when the writing switched.  Author Omid Scobie recently said that he didn’t give the book to the Sussexes to read or approve ahead of time and that he didn’t know if they’d read it yet. It’s complimentary toward the Sussexes but does admit when they make some mistakes. Minute 6:00: In another interview Omid said Kate made Meghan look incredibly old fashioned, which is true. He said he didn’t think the Sussexes would want to be working royals again. Chandra is interested in Omid’s claims that he thinks they’ll go back to England to do charity work occasionally. People Magazine says that the Sussexes original plan was to split time between Canada and The UK. Minute 7:30: We also got a story from Emily Andrews, the Daily Mail’s royal editor. She said that Meghan’s expectations for a friendly relationship with Kate were unrealistic. Finding Freedom made it clear that Kate barely spent time with Meghan and didn’t try to get to know her. I play a segment from Zoom where Laura points out how weak Emily Andrew’s examples of Kate befriending Meghan were. Karen notes that the story has changed about how much Kate helped Meghan. Minute 10:45: The craziest story this week was Richard Kay’s denial in the Daily Mail of tiaragate, the ever-changing story about Meghan supposedly demanding an emerald tiara from The Queen. Finding Freedom sets the record straight with an extensive description of Meghan’s tiara selection, attended by Prince Harry, The Queen and The Queen’s personal dresser, Angela Kelly. Kay's story was so petty and detailed and surely came straight from Angela Kelly, the Queen’s dresser. The article took offense to Harry allegedly calling Angela “this woman,” because the book had a similar line from William that upset Harry. William is said to have told Harry, when Harry was dating Meghan, not to rush things and to “take as much time as you need to get to know this girl.” Kay really glommed on to the “This woman/This girl” comparison and called Harry a hypocrite for using the same phrase he was offended by. Minute 15:00: The article also focused on how close Angela and The Queen are and made it sound like they are lovers! I play a segment from Zoom where Zakia compares the coutiers’ treatment of Meghan to an abusive relationship. Karen says that it’s just a way to cloak their racism. Minute 18:00: Other stories from Finding Freedom that we reported on since last week include that Meghan’s work style was very “American” and was seen as “abrasive” and too direct by the courtiers.  Minute 19:30: One story which didn’t make it into Finding Freedom, but which found new life this week, was Prince William’s affair with Kate’s “rural rival,” Rose Hanbury. Daily Beast’s royal journalist, Tom Sykes, gave some clues about his source for that older story.  I play a segment from Zoom where Ameerah points out how nasty Tom Sykes has been about Meghan. Lisa mentions how much Jecca Craig, Kate and Rose look alike. (They do! I put a side by side photo of them on the post for this podcast.) Democratic National Convention: Minutes 25:30 to 31:45 We had the virtual Democratic National Convention this week. My favorite part was the roll call from the different states. Chandra loved the calamari guy in the segment from Rhode Island. Michelle Obama made an incredible speech which was authentic for her. I say she mom-shamed Trump and Chandra reminds me that Hillary did that first. Michelle does go high but the rest of us don’t have to. We also liked Kamala Harris’ speech and noticed how a lot of speakers brought up both the next generation and our parents, who worked so hard for us to be here. Chandra says that Kamala’s story is such an “child of immigrants” story. She’s had an incredible journey and Chandra loves how she leaned into her personal narrative. Chandra noticed that Jill Biden, Kamala, Elizabeth Warren and Hillary Clinton all talk like teachers and like Chandra’s mom.  User Feedback: Minutes 31:45 to 32:30 Thanks Emma and Margaret for your nice emails! Comments of the Week: Minutes 32:30 to 36:00 My comment of the week is from Furqan Reisen on Twitter. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Lindy and TyrantDestroyed on the Novak Djokovic interview. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:30 We had a minor earthquake last week that I thought was a groundhog who comes on my porch. We remember the big 2011 earthquake that hit our area of Virginia. I got a covid test because I’ve been feeling run down with a sore throat. It was negative thankfully.  Finding Freedom: Minutes 4:30 to 27:45 Finding Freedom really delivers and explains the Sussexes’ point of view on so many tabloid stories we’ve covered. It’s very matter-of-fact and sets the record straight. It’s interesting what goes unsaid. Thee narrative in the British press around Harry and Meghan’s relationship has been that Meghan is driving it and controlling Harry. Finding Freedom makes it clear that he pursued her and would do anything for her.  Chandra says Meghan is the compromiser and Harry is the one who cuts ties and decided to leave the royal family. Minute 9:00: The tiara story was a huge segment in the book. Angela Kelly decided to ignore Meghan’s calls asking for access to the tiara. We also learned that Meghan picked out her tiara from a selection The Queen provided her. The tabloid stories in the fall of 2018 claimed that Meghan demanded a tiara, which never happened.  Minute 10:45: Meghan and Harry’s romance first got leaked to the press from Prince Andrew’s staff.  Minute 12:00: We heard that Meghan announced her pregnancy at Eugenie’s wedding. We think Eugenie had every right to be mad and Meghan had every right to tell people because she was excited. Minute 13:30: We heard that Meghan was “well prepared and respectful” for her first outing with The Queen.  I play a segment from Zoom where Rhiannon talks about the work Meghan did to prepare for being in the royal family and how much stress it must have been for her.  Minute 17:00: Meghan was set to attend Pippa Middleton’s wedding, but The Sun ran a cover story pitting Meghan against Pippa. Meghan decided at the last minute to skip the church part of the wedding. Plus the Middletons were worried that Meghan would overshadow Pippa on her wedding day. Minute 18:30: Katie Nicholl, Kate’s biographer, ran a piece in Vanity Fair with the Cambridge’s take. Kate and William are said to “come under fire more than other senior royals.” We note that most of that is innuendo though. The book isn’t as bad as we thought it would be and doesn’t go after the royals like we assumed it would. I play a segment from Zoom where Courtney, Sara and Ameerah talk about how the book is nicer than they thought it would be. Chandra points out that the Sussexes want to stay on The Queen and Prince Charles’ good sides. Chandra says Omid Scobie might be following Andrew Morton’s model of writing royal biographies. She thinks a follow up book will probably come out next year. Minute 24:30: We heard that Harry and Meghan purchased an estate in Montecito. Chandra hasn’t looked at the photos and feels like it’s an invasion of their privacy. I think it’s a great place for them to be secure. Chandra worries about their neighbors being annoyed if paparazzi come to that small town. We think Meghan will fit in well there. Minute 27:45: This week we heard that Joe Biden picked Kamala Harris as his running mate. It says great things about Biden that he picked someone who challenged him in the primaries. We talk about the idiotic and racist argument that Kamala isn’t an American citizen because her parents are immigrants. I play a segment from Zoom where Angelina, Rhiannon and Ameerah say how excited they are for Kamala. Chandra was hoping to vote for Kamala in the primaries but she dropped out. The mainstream news ignored Kamala’s candidacy. User Feedback: Minutes 32:00 to 32:30 Thanks wildwaffles and Silvercharm for your nice comments! Comments of the Week: Minutes 32:30 to 37 Chandra’s comment of the week is from Dazed and Confused on the post about Donald Trump saying the Spanish Flu ended WWII. My comment of the week is from Chelly on the post about Brian Austin Green shading Megan Fox for dating Machine Gun Kelly. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 2:30 Chandra has been really tired and going to bed early. We’re both feeling run down this week. The hummingbirds are coming right up to me now when I’m outside. Chandra’s cat Dexter is an eating machine. Royals: Minutes 2:30 to 25:00. I compliment Chandra for her skill in picking the best photos for posts.  I love the photos that Chandra picked to show that Harry was the third wheel in William and Kate’s relationship. Chandra remembers how Kate used to make googoo eyes at Harry. I say it’s because her husband wasn’t giving her any attention. Minute 6:00: Last week we talked about Harry fighting with The Queen’s dresser, Angela Kelly, over Meghan’s access to the tiara ahead of their wedding. The Daily Mail made it sound like Meghan was being a diva, when she likely planned it all out and notified them ahead of time. Chandra points out that the palace’s story has changed and was originally that Meghan wanted an emerald tiara for her wedding. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where Zakia talks about how the press smeared Meghan and how Kelly dragged her feet trying to sabotage Meghan. Minute 10:00: The Sun ran an outrageous story that Harry would be welcomed back but that he would have to leave Meghan and Archie behind! Chandra says this has been the British press’s aim, to break up Harry and Meghan, since Sussexit was announced in January. There’s a segment from Zoom with Rhiannon, Karen and Ameerah talking about Harry’s decision to leave the royal family and how toxic they are. Minute 14:00: Dan Wootton, who has sources deep in the palace and broke the Sussexit news, wrote a piece claiming the Sussexes knew he was going to publish the story about their exit a full ten days before the piece ran. He also said that Prince William was working in cohoots with Angela Kelly to limit Meghan’s access to the royal jewelry, something Chandra reported last year. Wootten is part of a scandal where journalists were caught paying off royal staff for scoops.  Wootton paints Meghan as a diva with vague stories about how she “horrified” Kate with the way she spoke to staff members. This is similar to all the other vague and negative stories we’ve heard about Meghan. In our Zoom meeting Sara and Ameerah talked about how Meghan likely scared the courtiers by reminding them of Diana. Chandra follows royals because her mom loved Diana and says it’s more complicated than that. Minute 21: On Meghan’s birthday Duchess Kate visited a baby bank in a fussy dress and high heels that looked like they hurt. William and Kate also did a trip to South Wales together, to Barry Island to highlight the pandemic’s affect on the British tourism industry. They played games like skeeball and the claw at an arcade. They did not wear masks inside at the arcade at all. Kate didn’t wear a mask all the time at the baby bank either. They are a terrible example for people. We realize not every place has a mask mandate but they’re public figures and should be setting a better example. By the next time we record the podcast, Finding Freedom will be out. We talked a lot about it on Zoom and everyone is so excited for that! Courtney and Karen from Zoom give their plans for that day. Kim and Kanye: Minutes 25:00 to 28:00 Kim Kardashian and Kanye aren’t going to get a divorce after all. They’re vacationing together at a compound in the Caribbean to “try and save their marriage.” Chandra has sympathy for Kim but wishes she wouldn’t tell the press about every detail of her relationship. We think Kanye is a terrible person for continuing his presidential run and of course the Republicans are helping him. User Feedback: Minutes 28:00 to 30:45 Last week we talked about the celebrities we’d like to see together. Chandra is shipping Angelina Jolie and her ex, Jonny Lee Miller. Our user feedback is from Mia4s and Michelle about whether Jonny is separated or still with his wife. We couldn’t figure this out and there’s very little gossip about him so if anyone has any information let us know! We also got a nice text message from a listener. Comments of the Week: Minutes 30:45 to 34 My COTW is from Silver Charm on the post about Trump saying “let them prove” that Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Sunny and YaGotMe on the post about Khloe Kardashian getting back with Tristan Thompson. She also picked a comment from Deanne on the post about Lena Dunham describing her coronavirus battle in exhaustive detail. We talk about Gwyneth Paltrow’s “conscious uncoupling” essay, which is just as overwrought as Lena’s writing style. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 5:30 Chandra is going to be able to see her mom in person for the first time in four months. My car’s windshield got a crack in it and I got it replaced. Chandra has been rewatching Castle and I’m watching Hanna on Amazon. Chandra knows the leads in that from their work on The Killing, which she hated. The Royals and Finding Freedom: Minutes 5:30 to 30:30 The first excerpts from the upcoming book Finding Freedom were in The Times of London and then People Magazine ran briefer excerpts. I loved the story about Harry and Meghan’s love story and first dates. Harry began texting Meghan immediately after their first date and was besotted with her.  Their romance is a modern fairy tale and we wonder why we don’t hear about it more. Chandra mentions the narrative in the press that Harry and Meghan moved too fast for anyone to vet her.  Minute 12:00: We heard that when Meghan was first dating Harry she got nitpicked over a tiny H&M initial necklace she wore and was told not to smile in paparazzi photos. Chandra points out that Harry’s aids in Kensington Palace were the ones micromanaging Meghan, although of course they also worked for the Cambridges. Minute 13:30: The Sussexes’ official engagement story is that they got engaged in November, 2017, but Finding Freedom reports that they got engaged a couple of months earlier, before the Invictus Games in late September. We think Harry proposed to Meghan during their trip to Africa that Summer.  Minute 14:45: We heard that the courtiers were trying to keep Harry and Meghan’s popularity down. Prince Harry felt “unprotected” by his family and understandably didn’t trust the courtiers. Harry and Meghan had to dim their light and keep their work quiet because William and Charles’ initiatives were supposed to get more attention.  Minute 16:30: William told Harry not to rush with Meghan or be blinded by lust. There were at least two other royals who had an issue with the pace of their relationship.  Minute 17:30: Finding Freedom denied the weak stories that the courtiers have been using to smear Meghan: that Meghan made a staffer cry, and that Meghan made Kate cry in the lead-up to Meghan’s wedding. Both stories are incredibly vague, with the point that Meghan is mean and made someone cry. In response there were multiple stories defending the Cambridges, including one where “two sources said the Duchess of Cambridge was crying after a dress fitting with Charlotte.” Note the careful wording of that statement. Kate cried AFTER the dress fitting, which is why there aren’t more witnesses. We still don’t know what made Kate cry.  Minute 20:30: The Cambridges also denied being unwelcoming to Meghan, with separate stories claiming Kate cooked her vegan food and once hand delivered flowers to Meghan. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where Karen and Sara talk about Meghan making Kate cry and Kate cooking Meghan vegan food. Minute 24:00: We also heard that the story about Meghan getting access to one of the Queen’s tiaras before her wedding was really a conflict between the Queen’s longterm dresser, Angela Kelly, and Prince Harry, who thought Kelly was delaying Meghan’s access. This is part of the narrative about Meghan being demanding. Minute 25:00: We got a story that the courtiers don’t believe the Sussexes are coming back to the royal family after their one year review, but they’re spinning it like they didn’t already leave and like they actually want to come back. It’s like the royal family are the gatekeepers when Harry and Meghan are the ones who wanted to leave. Chandra thinks Harry and Meghan wanted to continue to be royals part-time but that they saw the unhinged reaction by the palace and decided to leave permanently.  Harry looked so pissed off on Commonwealth day while Meghan held it together beautifully and looked blissed out. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where Zakia, Ameerah, Sara and Tanisha talk about the one year review. User Feedback and celebrities we’d like to see together: Minutes 30:30 to 36:30 Mary left us a nice voicemail about our site, commenters and podcast, thank you! She asked us to play matchmakers for random celebrities and we came up with some good ones.  Comments of the Week: Minutes 36:30 to 38:30 My comment of the week is from KKat on the post about all the church-goers in Alabama getting covid. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Grabbyhands on the post about Armie Hammer sounding like Susan Sarandon. Thanks for listening bitches! Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:40 It was a hard week for us. I went shopping and ran into an anti-masker who was ranting about a cashless system oppressing her. Chandra’s town is better than mine about people wearing masks. Royals: Minutes 4:40 to 25:15 Since we last talked, Princess Beatrice married Eduardo Mapelli Mozzi in a ceremony and reception with around 20 people, which is in accordance with UK gathering guidelines. The wedding, photos and details released were stage-managed by the palace to a ridiculous degree.  We got details from the reception which included “speciality cocktails, bespoke catering, an exquisitely decorated Indian-style tent, a bouncy castle and glamping pods for overnight guests.”  Chandra wants to hear about the cake and remembers people being mad because Meghan and Harry’s cake was nontraditional.  Minute 10:45: Beatrice broke the tradition of royals having wedding bands made of Welsh gold. Her ring was platinum with diamonds and was designed by Edo to match the engagement ring.  Minute 12:30: Beatrice’s dress was originally owned by the Queen and first worn in 1962 to a premiere and the opening of parliament. Chandra points out that the Queen was a bit more petite and buxom when she was young than Beatrice is. Due to royal protocol dictating that brides must have sleeves on their wedding gowns, Beatrice had puffy sheer sleeves added to the dress.  I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where Sara says that Beatrice looked like she was cosplaying her grandmother. Michelle reminds us that Beatrice wore the same tiara that Queen Elizabeth did for her wedding, and Tanisha wonders they rushed the wedding. Minute 21:15: We didn’t get a lot of news about Meghan this week. We know her mom, Doria Ragland, is living with her and Harry at Tyler Perry’s house and helping take care of Archie. We also heard that the Daily Mail is dragging out their case against her, according to Meghan’s side, so that they can milk it for exclusives about her. That’s kind of despicable, but on brand for them. Minute 22:00: Our Zoom meeting brought up some points about The Queen’s ruling style.  Kaye West and Kim Kardashian: Minutes 25:15 to 34 Kanye has been staying away from Kim in Cody, Wyoming and is in the midst of a bipolar episode. Kanye had a “rally” in South Carolina, where he said he wanted to abort North and that Harriet Tubman didn’t really free the slaves. Kanye has been tweeting and deleting that he's been planning to divorce Kim and that she's "trying to lock him up." Kim leaked to US on Wednesday that she’s meeting with lawyers to get a divorce. And Kardashian sources went to People with a long story about how Kim and Kanye have been talking about divorce for months. User Feedback: Minutes 34 to 35:15 Nev and EviesMom liked our shamef*ck talk from last week. Vivian’s house burnt down and she said she’s been listening to us while she’s away from home. We hope you’re ok Vivian! Comments of the Week: Minutes 35:15 to My comment of the week is from Dhavynia on the post where David Schwimmer says Ross really was on a break from Rachel and there’s no question. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Züri on the post about Sarah Ferguson finally being allowed to post about Beatrice’s wedding. Thanks for listening bitches! Intro: Minutes 0 to 5:45 I’m watching a new show with my son, The Boys on Amazon, and it’s incredible. Both Chandra and I watched and loved both seasons of What We Do in the Shadows on Hulu. We discuss minor plot details that I don’t think will ruin your experience, but you may want to skip that part. That’s from minutes 2 to 5. Discover Ad: Minutes 5:45 to 6:15 Discover helped me rebuild my credit after I was the victim of identity theft. We both use and trust Discover. If you sign up through our link at Celebitchy.com/Discover you can get a $50 credit when you make a purchase within the first three months. Royals: Minutes 6:15 to 22:10 We saw Duchess Meghan’s speech at the UN Foundation’s Girl Up virtual conference. Meghan looked super glam and possibly pregnant. We don’t think there’s anything wrong with this speculation as long we keep the conversation light and positive.   Meghan’s speech was so impressive and well-written. I especially liked her line that the status quo “will pull tightest right before snapping.” It’s clear that these are her own words and ideas because she gives speeches with such conviction. Minute 13:00: While Meghan has an unaccented voice, Kate’s accent seems to take a lot of effort, which can trip her up.  We saw her BBC interview where she was helping launching their Tiny Happy People initiative. This was clearly scripted as it had some unnatural phrases like “it’s gold dust really.”  Minute 17:00: We got another story, in Grazia, about how hard Kate is working. This is a repackaging of the Tatler and People stories about how Kate is supposedly resilient and loves to be busy. Minute 20:15: The Times of London did an analysis of data on charities with royal patrons. They found that charities receive no benefit from having a royal patron. Chandra thinks the Cambridges are skewing the data and that Charles doesn’t get enough credit for The Prince’s Trust. Will and Jada Pinkett Smith: Minutes 22:10 to 29:15 Will and Jada did their Red Table Talk where they addressed Jada’s “entanglement” with August Alsina, who is twenty years younger than her. Chandra thinks Jada is the one who screwed up their marriage while I think Will has his own sidepieces and is just mad that this story got out. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where we talked about this.  Blind Item about two celebrity couples: Minutes 29:15 to 33:30 Last week we talked about the male actor whom his female costars find creepy. This week journalist Charles Ray Hamilton tweeted that two white celebrity couples have divorced this year because of differences over Black Lives Matter.  User Feedback: Minute 33:30 to 38 I play a segment from my Zoom meeting where Rhiannon is disappointed that we continue to smear Ben Affleck. A bunch of us mock Chandra for her love of Diplo. Chandra’s mom asked her if she knew Diplo and told her she thinks Diplo is hot! Chandra has never told her mom that she loves Diplo though. Comments of the Week: Minutes 38:00 to 42 My comment of the week is from Florence on the post about royal patrons being useless. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Case and Lumiere on the post where Florence Pugh defended her relationship with Zach Braff yet again. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:30 We have a new writer, Tanisha, whom you heard on the last podcast! She writes as Oya and runs the Aha Experience Podcast.  Our first commercial: Minutes 4:30 to 6:15 Both of us are Discover card users, Chandra got me to sign up for one years ago, and I came up with this idea for a commercial. Discover helped me rebuild my credit after I was the victim of identity theft. If you sign up for a Discover card at Celebitchy.com/discover you can get a $50 credit if you make a purchase within the first three months. Royals: Minutes 6:15 to 25 Meghan and Harry talked to young leaders about Black Lives Matter as part of their work with the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust. Harry acknowledged the most basic truths about systemic racism, that white people benefit from it and that The Commonwealth needs to acknowledge the past. The reaction to Harry’s comments was ridiculous. He was criticized by several British outlet for daring to address systemic racism. Minute 14:15: There were several stories embiggening Kate as usual. We also got a rehash of the story we’ve heard so many times that Meghan made one of Kate’s staffers cry, years ago, for telling her to do her job. Minute 16:30: Meghan’s legal team filed an injunction against the Daily Mail in her lawsuit against them. This was to keep the DM from publishing the names of her five friends who spoke to People Magazine on her behalf last year. Minute 22:15: Ghislaine Maxwell, Prince Andrew’s good buddy and Jeffrey Epstein’s co-conspirator in human trafficking, is in custody and is currently in a detention center in Brooklyn, where she’s on suicide watch. Everyone is wondering what kind of dirt she has on Andrew and if she’ll flip on him. Chris Evans and Lily James: Minutes 25:00 to 28 Chris Evans, 39, and Lily James, 31, were spotted out together in London, where they went to a club. There are a lot of questions over when Chris arrived in London and whether or not he quarantined. There’s some speculation that they’ve been happening for a while. After that they were seen eating ice cream together at a park, in photos which were definitely staged. Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas: Minutes 28:00 to 32:30 Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas got a writeup in the Washington Post’s pop culture section calling them “pandemics only tabloid celebrities.” They haven’t done a pap stroll together since that article came out. We wonder why Ana is so googoo-eyed over Ben and this is where our talk gets explicit! Blind Item: Minutes 32:30 to 36:45 Journalist Yashar Ali tweeted a blind item about a male celebrity whom most of his female co-stars find gross. He said in follow-up tweets that the person is in their 40s and it’s not Leonardo DiCaprio. We also heard that the person has the same number of letters in their first and last name. User Feedback: Minutes 36:45 to 37:30 Thanks to Sportlady20 and Little Penguin for your nice comments! Comments of the Week: Minutes 37:30 to 41:15 My comment of the week is from Belli on the stupid word salad letter that JK Rowling and other authors signed saying they didn’t want to be canceled for being assholes. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Florence, who wrote lyrics to a Killers song about Kate coming out of her shell. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 5:45 I got a huge surprise when I took my new car in for an oil change and it was twice as expensive as my old car. Chandra’s departed sweet but murderous dog used to kill groundhogs in her yard. I have a groundhog that comes to my porch. Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund: Minutes 5:45 to 7:45 We heard that Emma Roberts is pregnant by Garrett Hedlund, which is surprising to us. When we first heard about them last year we thought it was just a hookup. Trump’s rally and K-pop fan activism: Minutes 7:45 to 10:45 Last weekend only 6,200 people went to Trump’s sad Tulsa rally and that they had to dismantle the overflow area. Then we heard that teens and K-Pop fans had booked hundreds of thousands of tickets by organizing over TikTok and Snapchat. Royals: Minutes 10:45 to 24:00 Harry and Meghan did volunteer work with Homeboy Industries, which provides employment opportunities to former gang members and people leaving prison. Meghan looks possibly pregnant, and we’re excited about that. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where Tanisha points out that Harry changed the type of women he was dating after he met the Obamas. Tanisha runs the podcast The Aha Xperience where she interviews experts in wellness and finding your bliss. Minute 14:45: “Princess” Kate covers People Magazine, where the Cambridges try to sell us the same story, with the same points, that they told Tatler magazine. Minute 18:30: We got new photos of Prince William with his kids, taken by Kate and released for his 38th birthday. Chandra says that William looks terrible in those photos but I don’t think he looks bad for him. There are some suspicious stories about how close Prince William and Prince Charles are now. Tennis and Novak Djokovic’s failed Adria tour: Minutes 24:00 to 28:30 The ATP #1 men’s tennis player, Novak Djokovic, started the Adria tour inviting top players to come play exhibition matches. Novak greeted them with hugs and kisses, no one wore a mask or took precautions and Djokovic didn’t prioritize testing. So many top players tested positive from that tour, including Djokovic. Minute 28:30: We got a tip in our Zoom meeting about Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello from a listener whose friend works in the music industry User Feedback: Minutes 30:30 to 31:45 Thanks Alexandra, Beanie Bean and Susan for your nice messages. Comments of The Week: Minutes 31:45 to 35:20 My COTW is from Lightpurple on Hecate’s post about Sammy Hagar saying he would perform and sacrifice himself. Chandra’s COTW is from Who ARE these people on the post about Dennis Quaid marrying a 27-year-old. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Introduction: Minutes 0 to 5:15 I got a haircut from a new guy. It’s been raining all week and Chandra’s cat Dexter is spending more time indoors, but also wakes her up at 3am! We are taking off July 6th from the podcast. I’ll Zoom with anyone who gives us a nice review, just email me at info-at-celebitchy.com.  Royals: Minutes 5:15 to 25 Jessica Mulroney threatened influencer Sasha Exeter after Sasha made a general callout asking people to support Black Lives Matter. Jessica got fired from her reality show, she’s no longer an expert on other shows and a bunch of sponsors dropped her. This wouldn’t be such a big story if Jessica wasn’t a close friend of Duchess Meghan. We’ve all had troublesome friends and don’t think it’s fair to blame Meghan for Jessica’s behavior. I play a segment from our Zoom meeting where we talk about female friendships. Minute 13: Lainey at Lainey Gossip wrote an article about her hesitation to speak out about Jessica Mulroney. Lainey works on CTV’s eTalk with Jessica’s husband, Ben Mulroney. She revealed that the Mulroneys have been threatening people who aren’t taking Jessica’s side.  Minute 14:35: The Queen had the Trooping the Color parade despite the pandemic and the fact that protests were raging throughout London. The Queen has only given one speech about the pandemic and hasn’t said one thing about Black Lives Matter. She didn’t wear a mask during the parade and none of the British royals have been wearing them.  Minute 16:45: Prince Andrew is asking the Department of Justice to apologize to him. It seems like he’s only offered a written witness statement and is throwing a fit at the idea that they’re asking him to sit for an interview. There’s a huge difference between the way the British press treats Andrew, who is complicit in crimes, to the way they treat Duchess Meghan for just existing. I play a segment from the Zoom meeting where we talk about the fact that Prince Andrew still lives in a mansion and gets his security fully paid while Harry and Meghan are being made to rent Frogmore for £18,000 a month. Minute 20:45: Kristen Stewart has been cast as Princess Diana in a biopic by Pablo Larrain, who directed Natalie Portman in Jackie. Chandra doesn’t think Kristen will be awful in the role and that it could be watchable. I play a segment from Zoom where we talk about Kristen Stewart playing Diana.  Officer McMuffin: Minutes 25:00 to 29:30 We saw Deputy Karen McMuffin crying over the fact that her McMuffin was late. In follow up interviews she doubled down and didn’t apologize. Cops in New York claimed Shake Shack tried to poison them because their milkshakes tasted funny, but it wasn't deliberate and was just the cleaning solution used on the machine.  User Feedback: Minutes 29:30 to 30:15 Thank you to duchess of hazard, LaUnicaAngelina and JeJoKo for your kind comments. Comments of the Week: Minutes 30:15 to 34 My comment of the week is from Darla on the post about people buying 30% more processed food. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Samc and Miranda on the post about cops getting “poisoned” with milkshakes.  Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 6:45 Royals: Minutes 6:45 to 25 Omid Scobie, who is publishing Finding Freedom in August, asked in Harper’s Bazaar why no royals have spoken out about Black Lives Matter because it’s a human rights issue and isn’t political at all.  We got a new photo of Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth which looks highly Photoshopped and like a proof of life photo.  Minute 14: In May Author Emily Giffin posted text messages about Meghan after her cute video reading Duck Rabbit to Archie. We talked about that in episode 51. Back then Giffin called Meghan “phony,” “attention-seeking” and wrote that she seemed “annoyed” with Archie. Giffin  did a recent interview with the AP in which she didn’t apologize, called herself “unfiltered,” said “I need to be more careful about the impact of my words” and admitted that she was “mean.” Chandra thinks Giffin is trying to appeal to Kate fans.  Minute 16:00: Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, is married to Prince Edward, the Queen’s youngest son. She’s known for being quietly effective and is the Queen’s favorite. She did an interview with the Sunday Times Magazine where she said she hoped that Harry and Meghan were happy. Many people took that as shade, especially given how she actively ignored them on Commonwealth Day. It sounded like she was trying to stay neutral. Minute 17:30: Kate hired a new private secretary to replace Catherine Quinn. Kate also zoomed into a rehab facility she last visited in 2012, saying it felt like only yesterday. It said so much about how she sees work. The Cambridges haven’t made a post-lockdown schedule like the royals in other countries.  Minute 21:30: Prince Andrew is wanted for questioning by the US Department of Justice for his involvement with Epstein. They’re trying to accommodate him by saying he can sit for questioning in the UK, but he’s refusing. In his response, Andrew’s lawyers claimed that the DOJ lied when they said he had offered zero cooperation and that “they are perhaps seeking publicity.” Andrew’s version is that he has offered a witness statement. Chandra points out that Andrew had to step down because of his interview, not because he was raping trafficked teenagers. JK Rowling: Minutes 25:00 to 30 JK Rowling went on a bizarre and ill-timed rant against transgender women. We think she should listen to experts and trans people and stop marginalizing an already marginalized group. Thankfully Daniel Radcliffe, Eddie Redmayne and Emma Watson have posted defenses of transgender people. Racism reckoning and awareness: Minutes 30:00 to 32 Due to racist incidents and a racist culture, The Bon Appetit editor resigned, the Crossfit CEO resigned, and Bravo has fired four people from Vanderpump Rules. Anna Wintour apologized to staff for her lack of diversity and inclusion. We talk about the cringey video by white celebrities saying they take responsibility. User Feedback: Minutes 32:00 to 35 Comments of the Week: Minutes 35:00 to 38

Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:45 We’re both having a tough time and have been crying, but it feels like things are changing. This week we’re giving away two $25 Amazon gift certificates to the first two people who send us positive reviews they’ve given to the podcast. You can email them to info-at-celebitchy.com and they don’t have to be new this week. Thanks! Royals: Minutes 3:45 to to 18:30 Chandra had pre-written a story responding to the Daily Mail’s criticism of Meghan’s lack of response to Black Lives Matter movement following George Floyd’s murder. She had to edit it because Meghan came out with a video commencement speech for her alma mater, Immaculate Heart High School in LA, just the next day. The speech was moving, heartfelt and passionate. I play a clip from our Zoom meeting on Wednesday, before Meghan’s speech came out, where we talked about the difference between Kate and Meghan’s speaking skills and ambitions. Both Meghan and Obama’s speeches were aimed at telling Black kids that their lives matter. Minute 10:00 The Tatler Catherine The Great story is the gossip gift that keeps on giving. More denials came out since our last podcast. Katie Nicholl’s denial in Vanity Fair is precious because Kate emphasizes her Early Years work and how hard she’s working at it while denying that she resents it! The Times of London found that Will and Kate aren’t working any harder than usual, but it’s suspicious to us that Meghan’s numbers are also so low. Kate and William threatened legal action against Tatler, but Tatler doesn’t think their legal claims have merit and they’re standing by their writer, Anna Pasternak. The Cambridges want Tatler to take the story down because they don’t know how the Internet works. Tatler took down the links to this story from the main page and royals page, but it’s still available. They’re now trying to blame Meghan for the article because she has some tenuous relationship with the author, “[Author Anna] Pasternak is friends with ex-Tatler journalist Vanessa Mulroney, the sister-in-law of Meghan’s best friend Jessica Mulroney.” The current editor is Kate’s friend from college so that’s definitely a reach. I say this is the first piece of negative press Kate has gotten and Chandra remembers all the bad press around Will and Kate’s disastrous India trip, which was in 2016 about six months before Meghan came around. If Kate and William hadn’t responded multiple times to all the points in this article this would have been a three day news story. Instead we’ve been talking about it for over a week. Lea Michele: Minutes 18:30 to 25:30 We remember how Chandra has disliked Lea for years. I asked her to change a story back in 2011 (I looked it up because I never delete email) where she said Lea had a face she’d like to smack. She wasn’t wrong! Lea of course was outed as a mean girl and probable racist for her treatment of costars. Chandra questions whether Lea is a racist or just a terrible person overall and I say she’s both. Lea’s “apology” was terrible and used the word “perceived” multiple time, as if it was other people’s interpretation of her behavior. In our Zoom meeting Karen made the point that Ryan Murphy and the other Glee producers are complicit for allowing Lea’s behavior to continue for years. Ashley pointed out that Ryan has also been hiring Emma Roberts, who for a lot of projects. Chandra gets a creepy feeling about Ryan Murphy and neither of us like his shows beyond a few episodes. Thomas Middleditch and Ben Affleck: Minutes 25:30 to 30:00 Thomas Middleditch’s wife filed for divorce. We play a segment from Podcast #30 where we talked about Thomas’s terrible interview with Playboy where he claimed that he and his wife were swingers, but admitted that it was one-sided on his part and that he didn’t tell his wife until after they got married. Chandra says Thomas has a nerdy hot appeal but I don’t agree. We both think he’s gross after his Playboy interview. I play a clip from Zoom where Rhiannon defends her love of Ben Affleck and a new member, Colleen, agrees. Chandra and I think that Ben was hot in 1999 but not anymore. She calls him “steroidy.” Sorry Rhiannon and Colleen! User Feedback and Hannibal: Minutes 30:00 to 32:30 WilliamJoelene said they listened to all our podcasts and we are super flattered! Thank you! Chandra finished all three seasons of Hannibal and she hated it so much. She’s very angry about the ending and says it was misogynistic too. Thanks for the nice voicemail from an unknown listener. She did not leave her name. Comments of the Week: Minutes 32:30 to 35:20 My comment of the week is from Martina on the post about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas going to a Black Lives Matter protest in Venice, CA. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Crowhood on the post about the pot factory busted near the Middletons’ estate and from agnes on the post about Meghan McCain complaining about her New York neighborhood while she’s in Virginia. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 8:30 We didn’t have a podcast out last week due to Memorial Day. Chandra has been watching Hannibal and is really enjoying it. I went to an online podcasting conference and they told us to ask our listeners for stuff. If you write us a five star review and email me a screenshot to info-at-celebitchy.com I’ll pick one person randomly to win a half hour zoom call with me. This prize was poorly thought out because you can talk to me every Wednesday at 4pm EST during our weekly Celebitchy Zoom meeting.  That crazy Tatler story: Minutes 8:30 to 29 Duchess Kate is covering Tatler with headlines reading “Catherine The Great” and “How the crisis made Kate the Kingmaker.” It initially reads like a sugary puff piece meant to embiggen Kate, but it ends up making Kate and William look lazy, petty and entitled. There’s a lot of shade in the full article, including details which make the Cambridges and Middletons look bad. The real story is how the piece came about, especially considering that the Cambridges clearly participated in it. The Cambridges’ half-denials of the story made it even more interesting. Tatler called them out and said they were aware of the piece and asked Kensington Palace to work with them on it. Chandra points out that the official denial only specifies that the Cambridges didn’t get to read the story before it went out, not that they weren’t aware of it or didn’t participate in it. This suggests they’re used to reading and approving stories. My favorite part is about Kate trying to tell Meghan that the child bridesmaids at Meghan’s wedding needed to wear tights. We heard, for years, that Meghan made Kate cry in the lead-up to Meghan’s wedding. Now that we know the actual incident that led to that, Kate sounds even more dictatorial and petty. The Cambridges' denial to Richard Kay in The Daily Mail confirms “the tights episode,” but say it’s “not quite right.” One of the more ludicrous part of the Tatler piece was when a Cambridge source claimed that “the Sussexes have effectively thrown their three children under a bus. There goes their morning school runs as the responsibilities on them now are enormous.” Will and Kate denied that too but in their denial they focused on how Kate is “s juggling a lot with three young children at home while contributing when she can to the national effort.” GMAFB! The author, Anna Pasternak, must have spoken to the rich aristocratic women in Norfolk, known as the Turnip Toffs and presumably led by William’s possible mistress, Rose Hanbury. There are a lot of judgy bitchiness about Kate and her family. There are some barbed quotes about Carole Middleton stage managing Kate’s life and decorating Kate’s country home like only the nouveau riche can. Chandra thinks that William Chandra says William and Kate shot themselves in the foot by exiling the Sussexes because now the spotlight on them and they can’t handle it. My friend Zakia reads a ridiculous segment from the article where William is “incandescent with rage” at the Sussexes. It’s enlightening how quickly the Cambridges responded to this Tatler article where they couldn’t say a kind word in defense of Meghan for years.  Lana Del Rey: Minutes 29 to 32:15 Lana Del Rey decided to defend herself against alleged criticism that she sings about damaged relationships. She called out other artists, most of them women of color, for doing the same thing and not getting as much backlash as her or something. It was tone deaf and obnoxious and her follow-up statements contained so much coded racism, including calling herself “a more delicate personality.” She just kept issuing statement that were so convoluted no one could understand what she meant. It was also obvious that many of the women she mentioned had tried to contact her and that she continued to talk over them and not listen to their feedback. Central Park Karen: Minutes 32:15 to 38:15 Earlier this week a video was trending where a woman in Central Park was threatening to call the police on a man telling her to leash her dog. She got fake hysterical on the phone claiming an African-American man was threatening her life. It went viral because it was just one minute and you could see her switching from being aggressive and mad and then acting hysterical and playing the victim on the phone with 911. It was a textbook example of white people weaponizing the police against people of color. It also went viral because it had a happy ending. The woman was identified quickly, fired from her job, and had to surrender her dog to the rescue agency. We got to know the man who taped the incident, Christian Cooper, and he’s handsome, an avid birder, and is on the board at the Audubon Society. I found duplicates of the Central Park Karen, Amy Cooper’s, Instagram account for her dog. The dog has been hurt at least two times which she posted about, because she regularly let him run free in the park. She could have easily fixed this by getting him a special harness. Shame f*cks: Minutes 38:15 to 40:30 In an excerpt from our Zoom meeting, Rihannon loves Ben Affleck and Karen tells me to talk to Chandra about her love of Diplo. Sara says after you hook up with Diplo you have to go “straight to the sexual health clinic” afterwards. Chandra explains her love of Diplo again. User Feedback: Minutes 40:30 to 41:30 Thanks to Ashley and Angie on Twitter for your kind words about our podcast. Also thanks to Gil for complimenting Chandra’s laughter. Comments of the Week: Minutes 41:30 to 44:30 My comments of the week are from Jules and Lightpurple on the post about what a great influence Ana de Armas is on Ben Affleck. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Biff and Alissa on one of the posts about Lana del Rey’s ridiculousness.  Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 8:30 I was having a hard week and everything feels monotonous to me, but Chandra has gotten into the rhythm of being in lockdown. I’ve been watching 911: Lone Star, which I like because something ridiculous and stupid happens every few minutes. Chandra is still doing a Bones marathon. She’s also watching Billions, which is bonkers, and just saw the season finale of Prodigal Son. She was hate watching it but says it paid off. Chandra’s favorite tennis player, Juan Martin Del Potro, broke up with his girlfriend.  Mary-Kate Olsen divorce: Minutes 8:30 to 13:45 Mary-Kate Olsen, 33, married Olivier Sarkozy, 50, in November 2015. We just heard that she’s trying to divorce him using an emergency court order because of New York City’s moratorium on divorces during the pandemic. Apparently Oliver didn’t renew the lease on the apartment he shared with her and is trying to kick her out by default in mid-May. I get confused at this part because I didn’t realize it was already mid-May. Mary-Kate does have a great prenup protecting her businesses, but she’s so private and must be upset that this news is out there. Robert Pattinson: Minutes 13:45 to 20:00 Robert Pattinson did an interview for GQ which was absolutely bonkers. He admitted he’s not exercising for Batman and said people in the 70s didn’t do it so why should he. Chandra focused her story on the excerpt about Robert not working out, but it got crazier when he tried to microwave pasta in front of the GQ journalist. He blew up the microwave by trying to cook aluminum foil in it and made this bizarre concoction of cornflakes, pasta, sliced cheese and sugar. Chrissy Teigen and Alison Roman: Minutes 20:00 to 24:30 Alison Roman is a food blogger and influencer, she’s a columnist for the New York Times cooking section and used to work for Bon Appetit. Roxana at Pajiba has a good article about how Alison takes other culture’s cuisine, like curry, and tries to pass it off on her own by rebranding it, as “The Stew” or “The Cookies” or whatever. Alison did an interview with New Consumer where she called out Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo for their merchandising and said she was too cool for that, basically. A lot of people pointed out that she was calling out two women of color. Chrissy defended herself and said she worked hard on her business and it wasn’t profitable yet. People dug up Chrissy Teigen’s problematic old tweets and Chrissy quit Twitter for a day, but came back to accept Allison’s apology, which did acknowledge her privilege. Royals: Minutes 24:30 to 30:00 The Financial Times reported Prince Andrew embezzled £350,000 from his charity to pay off his former press secretary. There was another story that Epstein used Prince Andrew to lure girls and young women. There were plenty of filler stories about Harry and Meghan, including some that Harry misses the military and is having a hard time adjusting to LA. Every time we see him he looks great though, and like he’s doing well in LA with Meghan and Archie. The British reporters keep acting like jilted lovers and trying to make Harry sound pathetic. There was a fake-sounding story from Katie Nicholl, a Cambridge-friendly journalist, in Entertainment Tonight saying that Harry and William had reconnected during the lockdown. Chandra thinks William leaked the story that Harry and Meghan were in LA because that happened right after we heard that Prince Charles had coronavirus. It’s likely that the brothers talked around that time. Baby Archie turned one and they celebrated with a strawberries and cream smash cake Meghan made for his birthday. People also reported that Archie’s best friends were the dogs, which was cute. User Feedback: Minutes 30:00 to 34:00 Thanks to Sandy and Cindy for your kind messages about our podcast! Comments of the Week: Minutes 34:00 to 39 My comment of the week is from Lightpurple on the story about Miley Cyrus wearing only leather and latex. Chandra’s comments of the week are from ChloeCat on the story about Lena Dunham bragging about her relationship with Brad Pitt, and by tempest prognosticator on the post about James Middleton shaving off his beard. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:45 Chandra is sick of all the baking inspo as it makes her feel like she’s not doing lockdown right. I’m really into baking and cooking still as I’m with my son and he likes to eat. Chandra is re-watching Bones and White Collar and realizes she missed the last couple of seasons of both. I’ve been playing Animal Crossing, but on the Gamecube from 2001. The canceled Met Gala: Minutes 4:45 to 11:45 The Met Gala was canceled this year and would have been last week. Chandra enjoys covering the Met Gala more than any awards show because we don’t have to stay up or analyze anything other than fashion. The theme was “About Time” and Chandra thinks it would have been fun because so many women would be in fug Victorian dresses with ruffles and buttons. Amanda Seyfried’s Little House-style dress looked really nice to us, she showed it off on Instagram. We know that other actresses, like Sarah Jessica Parker, would have looked ridiculous as usual. Chandra’s favorite Met Gala was in 2015 when they did China Through The Looking Glass. You can see our coverage here starting about halfway down the page and I’ve included photos of the looks we talked about, Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. Rihanna was also a standout that year, as usual. Julia Roberts showed off the layered tulle dress she would have worn to the Met Gala and it was boring and ugly. Royals: Minutes 11:45 to to 24:45 Duchess Meghan’s video and the Karens: We got to see Meghan read the book Duck! Rabbit! to Archie in a three minute video to benefit Save The Children UK. It was adorable to see Meghan and Archie interact, especially when Archie threw a book down and Meghan gave a knowing look to Harry off camera. We were impressed by how natural the video was along with the fact that it looked like they filmed it in one take. Author Emily Giffin wrote an unhinged screed against Meghan. She shared text messages where she said Meghan was “phony,” “attention-seeking” and seemed “annoyed” with Archie. Giffin wrote a fauxpology after that, denying she was racist. White women like Giffin are showing their asses by trying to “educate” Meghan on how to be behave. Chandra was surprised that this story got picked up by so many outlets. Minute 16: We heard about Duchess Kate’s new project, an at-home photography competition for people to capture images of the pandemic. It’s a collaboration with her patronage, the National Portrait Gallery. She did an interview to promote it where she sounded a little punch drunk and it was cute. Minute 17:45: We got the title for the new biography about Harry and Meghan by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. It’s called Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan, and the Making of a Modern Royal Family and is number one on Amazon pre-orders! It’s out August 11. Chandra finds the title melodramatic but I love it and think it sounds like Meghan’s writing style. It’s not an officially authorized biography as we’ve discussed, but we’re sure Meghan and Harry had input into it. There are also negative biographies of Harry and Meghan coming out, like a new book by Tom Quinn called Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir from Queen Mary to Meghan Markle. The Daily Mail published an excerpt from that claiming that Meghan yelled at one of Kate’s staffers and made her cry, which sounded eerily similar to the story about Meghan allegedly making Kate cry. We don’t think she’s that kind of person and assume that the staffer cried because Meghan wanted them to work. Minute 21:30: The Daily Mail ran an unintentionally funny hit piece on Meghan, showing how desperate they are for any content about her. They spoke with a photographer on the record and a videographer who was unnamed. Both worked with her during her career as an actress, although the quotes could be from the same person. They photographer said decent things about her being “intense” and “on a mission” and showing up with 12 people. The unnamed videographer trashed her, and called her “mean” and a “diva” who wanted approval rights over the final video, which is standard for celebrities. The videographer said she didn’t want her feet in the shoot and the DM had a ton of photos of her feet, including the little scar where she had a bunion removed. It was ridiculous! We go back to talking about how natural and happy Meghan looked in the video with Archie and Chandra mentions this cute tweet about how Meghan doesn’t need anyone’s approval anymore. Elon Musk and Grimes’ baby name: Minutes 24:45 to 27:45 Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed a baby boy named X Æ A-12. Chandra is surprised by the legs this story had and how it lasted all week. She thought Elon was just making a joke at first but then Grimes confirmed it with a long explanation on Twitter. California won’t allow the baby to have that name officially anyway as it has a special character in it. User Feedback: Minutes 27:45 to 30 Jensies commented on our podcast post last week about Tom Yorke being hot and Chandra agrees. Chandra responds to Erin’s comment about Tom DeLonge being a bad band member by defending his work as a UFOlogist. I got the giggles and couldn’t stop laughing in this part! Comments of the Week: Minutes 30 to 35 Chandra’s comment of the week was a poetic one from Harper on the post about William granting permission for air ambulances to land at Kensington Palace. My comment of the week is from Ann on the post about Michelle Obama making Sasha and Malia make their own beds and learn how to do laundry when they lived in the White House. Neither of us have seen Michelle’s new documentary or read Becoming because we’re too nostalgic for the Obamas and it makes us sad. Chandra stopped following the Obama Plus Kids Twitter account for that reason. I remember Obama’s photo with the Batman kid (it was actually a kid in a Spiderman costume although there was also a Superman kid) and Chandra remembers the beautiful photos of him with his niece. Introduction: Minutes 0 to 5:30 The power went out in my house and I thought for a minute that the world was ending. Chandra’s panther kitty has recovered from his respiratory illness. Chandra had just seen Thom Yorke from Radiohead perform on The Tonight Show. He’s got mountain man vibes happening but she still finds him attractive because he’s so talented. Royals: Minutes 5:30 to 12:30 Meghan has been doing video coaching sessions with SmartWorks clients. SmartWorks released a one and a half minute clip on the Cambridges’ ninth anniversary. Chandra thinks that Meghan’s boobs look bigger and that she could be pregnant. She thinks Meghan planned it out so everything would be launching in May and June and that a pregnancy announcement may have been part of that. I can’t tell if she looks pregnant and think the Zoom filter might be throwing us off. Chandra thinks Meghan also looked pregnant in the videos of her volunteering with Harry. Minute 8:00: Stories came out embiggening Kate and William, including one which said Kate had “matured enchantingly” during her marriage. William and Kate have a pattern where they build up anticipation for their next meager charity effort, do something, and then get endlessly praised for it. Ingrid Seward in The Sun claimed that Kate “wears the pants” in her relationship. I think that’s how William frames it whenever she asks him to do the bare minimum. Minute 10:00: A new biography of the Sussexes is coming out from one of Meghan’s favorite reporters, Omid Scobie. It was originally supposed to come out in June, which Chandra thinks was part of a planned rollout by the Sussexes. The new release date is in August. No one is saying whether or not it’s authorized and we don’t yet know if Meghan and Harry will be granting interviews. The fact that Meghan was working closely with Omid during her last trip to London makes us think that she worked with him on it. Chandra doesn’t believe that they’ll give official interviews though. We’re really looking forward to reading it. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce: Minutes 12:30 to 15:30 We were surprised by the popularity of this story, and think that Kristin is playing PR games by leaking sourced quotes one day and then contradicting them the next. Chandra says Kristin is the one who wants fame and I agree, but think he’s also an a-hole. Chandra remembers when they almost called off their wedding. She thinks we’ll see other corona divorces and wonders whether Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will ever get married. The Pentagon released UFO videos: Minutes 15:30 to 21:00 The pentagon released video of navy pilots encountering UFOs in 2004 and 2015. Chandra finds the second video the most convincing while I think the third video is also evidence of something because the pilot was so excited. (See https://celebitchy.com/podcast under the post for #50 for these videos.) Tom DeLonge of Blink 192 first released the videos a couple of years ago. Chandra reminds me of the movement since the 90s to declassify the government’s x-files. In our debate over whether the third video shows something convincing, Chandra tells me about the crazy conspiracy that birds aren’t real and are all drones run by the government. User Feedback: Minutes 21:00 to 22 Thanks to GG and Kealeen for their kind feedback about our podcast and site! Comments of the week: Minutes 22:00 to 27 I have two comments of the week, a tweet by Orange Owl on the post about Don Jr. getting his girlfriend an edible arrangement for her birthday, and a comment by Jess on the post about Denise Richards’ nutjob husband. Chandra’s comments of the week are by Florence and lucy2 on the post about how Kate has matured. Chandra reminds me that Kate and Meghan are older than Sarah Huckabee Sanders and we wonder what her next move will be. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219. Introduction: Minutes 0 to 6:00 Chandra’s youngest cat was sick with a respiratory virus, would could have been coronavirus but there’s no way to tell. He’s improving and Chandra’s older cat didn’t get sick, but she thinks he brought it home with him. I’ve been baking, which I’ve never tried before. I’ve made banana bread a couple of times and that turned out well and I mentioned that I was about to make challah bread. It turned out great! Here’s a link to a photo of that. What should we keep from our lockdown lifestyle?: Minutes 6:00 to 23:30 Chandra wrote a story last week asking what we should keep and what we should ditch from our lockdown. We have fun talking about the things we should keep or leave behind, including: - Shaking hands - Hugs from people we don’t know well - Kissing as a greeting, with hot Spanish and French guys excepted - Washing hands frequently - Wearing masks - Social distancing and personal space - Takeout and takeout cocktails - Buffets - Working from home - Cruises - Cheap gas - Gyms and group classes vs. outdoor exercise - Going to the movies - Bars and clubs - Hard pants! For the record, I’m still wearing jeans at home - Hair salons and nail salons - Concerts - Shopping extra for things you use Royals: Minutes 23:30 to 28:15 The Sussexes sent a letter to the Sun, Daily Mail, Mirror and Express that they would have “zero engagement” with them and would only talk to them through lawyers. Now we know that the sources they use are either made up or come from Kensington Palace. So many royal households have participated in the tabloid smears against them. The tabloids had the courtier’s reactions to that, who claimed they were stunned and likened it to censorship. The Sussexes videoconferenced Queen Elizabeth for her 94th birthday and let friendly outlets know about it. Becky English at the Daily Mail ran a petty response to that, criticizing the Sussexes for confirming the new. All of this happened in the days leading up to the big hearing on Friday between the Sussexes and The Mail on Sunday. The Sussexes lawyer released the text messages that Harry and Meghan sent to her father, Thomas Markle, who told TMZ that he had a heart attack preventing him from attending Meghan and Harry’s wedding. The messages showed that Thomas lied to the press and that Meghan and Harry repeatedly tried to contact him. They asked him if he was OK and they offered to send him security and to visit him in the hospital. Maya Hawke: Minutes 28:15 to 32:30 Maya Hawke, 21, is covering Nylon Magazine, where she talked smack about Generation X. She didn’t just make a throwaway comment, she went on about it. Chandra thinks that Maya was being a brat, but also that she was really funny and somewhat self aware. Maya said her parents’ generation was just driving around in gas-guzzling cars and getting high without a care and that “they really f’ed us.” That story blew up. Of course we don’t blame Generation X because we’re Gen-X and Xennial. She’s not completely wrong, the 90s were a lot of fun, but we did have the AIDS crisis and the Challenger disaster. User Feedback: Minutes 32:30 to 33:45 Hollah thanked us for putting the podcast out on Sundays now and Molly reminded me about small breast privilege. Comments of the Week: Minutes 33:45 to 38:30 My comment of the week is from Flamingo on the post about Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes covering US Magazine. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Oatmeal on the post about Novak Djokovic being anti-vax. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Introduction and our boobs: Minutes 0 to 4:30 Chandra delivered groceries to her mom but had to drop them off at the front door. She’s not sure her mom grasps how much everything has changed as she’s been in an assisted living facility. One of our big stories was about Padma Lakshmi getting criticized for not wearing a bra in her at-home cooking videos. We talked in episode 16 about our boobs, which is when Chandra schooled me on small breast privilege. She says women like me get cuter bras and can wear more clothing styles. We think Padma has great boobs and want ours to be like hers. I’m surprised that Chandra has to wear both a regular bra with a sports bra over it when she exercises. Royals: Minutes 4:30 to 14:15 This week felt like a regular gossip week for the first time in a while and that gives us hope. This week Prince William Zoom called two women who run charities which have benefited from grants from his patronage, the National Emergencies Trust. He was prepared and seemed at ease. He did make one slight gaffe but we think it was taken out of context. There’s news that wealthy donors are donating to Will and Kate’s Royal Foundation and that they’re parceling out the money to other causes. We question why they’re accepting those donations instead of instructing people to donate to the charities directly. Meghan and Harry donated £90,000 in proceeds from the broadcast of their wedding to Feeding Britain. Prince Harry did a Zoom chat with parents of children with special needs as part of his patronage with Well Child. He knew so much about the families of the people he talked to. Chandra points out that he’s been working with that charity for a long time. Meghan and Harry volunteered with food distribution service Project Angel Food in Los Angeles. There were some cute quotes from a man they visited who thought Harry looked familiar. Princess Anne is covering Vanity Fair, and Chandra wishes they had used a current photo of her instead of a classic one. Anne is so no-nonsense she doesn’t eat or drink when she’s working. Anne talked some smack about the younger royals without naming names, telling them to stick to basics. Some people think she was referring to Meghan and Harry, but Chandra thinks she was talking about Will and Kate, because they spent years talking about how they didn’t want to do the basic royal work. Michael Bublé: Minutes 14:15 to 18:00 In an Instagram Live video, Michael Bublé elbowed his wife, Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato, after she talked over him. He then jerked her arm to pull her close to him, putting his arm around her neck. Many people thought it looked controlling, if not abusive. Luisana issued a statement defending Michael but he didn’t respond at all. His rep claimed that people were “cyberbullying” Michael. In other clips he says he’s going to divorce her and has clear disdain for her. He seems like an angry man and not like he’s joking at all. We’re not sure if he’s abusive, but he’s obviously controlling. Emily Blunt, who dated Michael from 2005 to 2008, refused to tell Howard Stern whether or not Michael had cheated on her, saying “I never want to talk about it. I can’t do it.” Reese Witherspoon and Draper James: Minutes 18:00 to 22:30 Reese Witherspoon promised to give teachers a free dress in a giveaway announced April 2nd with an application period until April 5th. It was worded “offer valid while supplies last,” but never specified that they only had 250 dresses available. The offer went viral quickly and they got over a million applications. Now all those women are on the Draper James mailing list, which only sent out a 30% coupon. I wonder how Reese rehabbed her image after her 2013 DUI, and Chandra explains that she did it by leaning into a stereotype of a southern woman. User Feedback: Minutes 22:30 to 24:45 Our user feedback is about our episode last week on Ancient Aliens. Our friend Becky on Twitter tried to watch the Pleiades episode but we’re not sure how it went. JC, a high school astronomy teacher, issued some corrections to the things we said last week about the Pleiades. Chandra thinks I shouldn’t have tried to fact check any of those claims. Comments of the Week: Minutes 24:45 to 29 My comment of the week is from CCSays on the post about Bruce Willis quarantining with Demi Moore instead of his wife, Emma Heming. Chandra’s comment of the week is from emmy on the post about Kate Beckinsale dating a 22 year-old emo musician. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:30 I had some technical problems so this part starts with us discussing Chandra dyeing and cutting her own hair. It turned out ok and she got rid of her “triangle head” where it’s flat on top and poofs out at the end. My friend whom I mentioned last week fixed her bright pink hair and it looks great. Royals: Minutes 3:30 to 11:45 The Copy Keens hired the former social media expert for the Cambridges. People Magazine reported this at first and then replaced their story with another article about how the Cambridges are using social media. Lainey noticed this. Chandra thinks People was trying to suck up to the Cambridges and make sure they have continued access. The Cambridges recorded a sweet video with primary school students and their teachers. This comes after weeks of them pushing stories that William is ready to step into a statesman role. The video was really cute and there was a nice moment when Prince William asked a little girl if her Easter box was a handbag. A lot of people were talking about how Kate’s accent wasn’t as posh in that video. I talked to a woman from Birmingham, England named Sara. She said that Kate’s accent was like no one’s she had ever heard and that Kate sounds posher than The Queen. Chandra notes that Kate’s accent comes and goes except when she’s giving a speech. Meghan and Harry announced that their foundation is called Archewell. They did this in response to The Telegraph leaking the news, but the Sussexes still got dragged for their timing. Politics: Minutes 11:45 to 20:45 Trigger warning minutes 16 to 20:45. Bernie Sanders dropped out of the race even though it’s been clear for a month that he did not have a path to the nomination. Chandra expected him to stay in the race for months longer. We’re interested in the high profile endorsements of Biden to come, especially the Obamas, and are excited to hear his pick for Vice President. We talk about the toxic Bernie Bro culture. We don’t blame Bernie for all of his followers, but he could have shut them down. His followers attacked Jim Clyburn for endorsing Biden and have been racist about Biden voters. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Bernie dropped out the day after civil rights icon John Lewis endorsed Biden. We talk about the allegations against Joe Biden. Please visit our site at https://celebitchy.com/podcast for a link to the Salon article we discuss.  Ancient Aliens: Minutes 20:45 to 35:00 Chandra loves Ancient Aliens on the History channel, which has just enough history and science to make it compelling television. They say that historical mysteries and biblical figures can all be explained by alien involvement. She got me to watch two episodes from this 15th season: They Came from The Pleiades and The Relics of Roswell. They Came from The Pleiades blew our minds. It starts with the discovery of an interstellar object found in our solar system in 2017 that experts think was manmade and came from the Pleiades galaxy. This is the Seven Sisters constellation to the right of Orion. Many cultures throughout the world have traditions and lore that they evolved from visitors from the Pleiades. This includes the aboriginal people of Australia, the Hawaiian people and people from India and Nepal. They tried to tie in the recent discovery of a humanoid species that outlasted the Neanderthals, the Denisovans. Because the people who share the same Pleadies origin story have some DNA in common with the Denisovans, that means the Denisovans were aliens, right? We like this show because it pulls us in and we believe it until we stop to think about it. Chandra loves the epsides that claim that Bible stories and figures are aliens. She’s especially convinced by the stories of alien abductions, which are very similar. I mention the book Demon-Haunted World by Carl Sagan, which points out that in the middle ages people described being visited by angels and saints in scenarios similar to alien abductions. Experiments show that stimulation to the temporal lobe of the brain can cause people to think they’re being visited by supernatural creatures. I’m not convinced but there’s always the possibility that aliens are real. Chandra believes something weird crashed in Roswell. She also thinks that the American military had access to alien technology, but she thinks Ancient Aliens is bullsh-t overall. I heard a crazy show on NPR from an author who claimed that the Area 51 incident was a Russian flight mission, orchestrated by former Nazi scientists doing terrible human experiments. User Feedback: Minutes 35:00 to 36:00 Thanks to Damejudi for the compliments! I also mention Lila’s comment from a couple of weeks ago that she was worried about us when we were sick. She said “It’s so scary how many people probably are going to get [this] and are never going to know one way or the other because they weren’t able to get tested.” A couple of my online friends who were sick with fevers and coughing have since recovered. Comments of the Week: Minutes 36:00 to 41:00 My comment of the week is from M on the post about Goop claiming people don’t like her because she’s pretty. Chandra’s comments of the week are from the post about The Queen’s speech. She also picked a comment by M and a follow-up comment from Jaded. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 11:00 We passed a major milestone with the site. Both Chandra and I have less time than we thought we would in quarantine. Chandra wants to cut her hair and I advise her against that. Hecate dyed her hair blue, but not all of our friends have had good results with bold color changes. There’s no way I’m messing with my hair at this time. Chandra mentions the interview that Gwyneth Paltrow and her new husband did with an intimacy coach in which the coach, Michaela Boehm, explained why women want to eat now instead of have sex. I have been eating a lot but at least I’m getting exercise too. Royals: Minutes 11:00 to 22:15 The Sussexes celebrated their independence on April 1st. There are so many negative articles about them, particularly Meghan, in the wake of that. A writer for Tatler met Meghan once at a party he threw in Canada. He wrote a ridiculously biased and racist article about her, criticizing her for not making it known she was biracial. Becky English in the Daily Mail used the word “niggling” as an adjective in the opener to an article claimaing that Meghan got what she wanted while Harry gave up everything. It was so blantantly racist. Chandra reminds me that the Daily Mail has used this word in a headline. The Daily Mail also cherry picked the negative reviews of the documentary Meghan narrated for Disney, Elephant. Our friend NYU professor Melissa Murray called out a writer for The London Times, Ed Potten, for negatively comparing Meghan to David Attenborough and calling the film shallow when it’s aimed at kids. Meghan gets cricitized for doing a good job and William and Kate are praised for thinking about working maybe. When they do something, it’s ridiculously half-assed like Kate’s survey, the results of which were never announced. The royals really aren’t stepping up during this crisis, they’re just doing photo ops. The British press is trying to get Harry to leave Meghan, which isn’t going to happen. I bring up the fact that Prince Charles left isolation after just a week. Chandra mentions that Charles might have done that because Prince William was overstepping. Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas: Minutes 22:15 to 26:30 Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have been doing near-daily pap strolls where they gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes and show a lot of PDA. Jennifer Garner has been doing competing pap walks with the kids and pets. It looks like an obvious attention grab by Garner, but at the same time she’s stuck at home with the kids and the nanny. Ana de Armas looks hypnotized with Ben and seems like a very sheltered young woman. Garner is playing it up for the paparazzi, but she’s also keeping the family together and wants to project that image. User Feedback: Minutes 26:30 to 28:30 Sinead confirmed our memories of the story that Sean Penn tied Madonna to a chair. She linked directly a biography of Madonna that referenced the police report which included this detail. Thanks Heather for your nice email! I also talked to Joslynn, Angelina, Victoria, Zakia, Kitty and Angie on Zoom and wanted to thank them. Comments of the Week: Minutes 28:30 to 32 My comment of the week is from Veronica S on the post about Ben Affleck finding Ana de Armas nurturing. Chandra’s comment of the week is from JanetDr on the post about Trump finally pretending to take things seriously. Thanks for listening bitches! Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:15 I miss seeing friends but Chandra is getting out walking and talking to her neighbors from a safe distance. A county sheriff had to come euthanize a deer that was injured next to my driveway. My mom is doing better and Chandra’s mom is doing well but she’s lonely as her facility has stopped allowing visitors. Prince Charles and Rand Paul have coronavirus: Minutes 3:15 to 7:00 Prince Charles tested positive for coronavirus and then traveled to Scotland. He says he’s fine but he’s in a vulnerable group. Senator Rand Paul took a test and then went to the gym, an indoor swimming pool and lunch, exposing other people who then had to go into quarantine when his test came back positive. When we heard that Paul had coronavirus we learned that he had lost a lung during a 2017 incident in which his neighbor violently attacked him on his front lawn, requiring Rand to be hospitalized. Back when that happened, Rand’s neighbor insisted the fight was lawncare-related but other neighbors don’t think that was the case. We never learned what they were fighting over, which is how Chandra got the idea for this podcast. Gossip Mysteries: Did Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have a legal marriage? Minutes 7:00 to 12:00 Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux had a backyard wedding in August, 2015, with details given to the celebrity press. They often talked about their marriage and Justin referred to Jennifer as his wife. They announced their split in February, 2018. By that point they had been living on separate coasts for several months and Justin didn’t even visit Aniston on her birthday in early February. No marriage certificate or divorce filing or settlement was discovered by the celebrity press and, given Aniston’s net worth and the difficulty of dividing assets, this should have been big news. (We did not mention this but there was vague news about a prenup but that’s it.) I mention that Justin left his live-in girlfriend of 14 years, Heidi Bivens, for Aniston and that how you get them is how you lose them. Heidi’s mom gave an interview to Radar Online confirming that her daughter was blindsided by the split. Chandra wonders about the financial and business arrangement between Jennifer and Justin. Justin switched to CAA and got more exposure and roles including Girl on A Train and Leftovers. She thinks he must have gotten a settlement from Jennifer. Gossip Mysteries: Why did Charlize Theron and Sean Penn split? Minutes 12:00 to 15:45 Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were together from roughly late 2013 up until May, 2015. They went to the Cannes film festival together in May and a few weeks after that they were over. We heard that Charlize broke up with Sean by ghosting him, which she later denied. I mention the rumors that he was abusive to Madonna, which she claimed was not the case. A year after they split they had to go back to Cannes to promote the movie Charlize made which Penn directed, The Last Face. They avoided each other and looked like they couldn’t stand each other. Charlize did an interview with The Wall St. Journal around that time saying that people tend to sensationalize things and that she didn’t know what ghosting was. Gossip Mysteries: What happened on the plane between Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Maddox? Minutes 15:45 to 17:45 We have a good idea about what happened because Brad Pitt’s PR people kept leaking details to People Magazine about this incident. They insisted that he did not hit Maddox in the face but admitted that he “put his hands on him, because the confrontation was nose to nose.” People think Brad was getting in Angelina’s face and that Maddox got in between them and it escalated. Angelina has never confirmed any of this. Gossip Mysteries: Did Robert Wagner kill Natalie Wood? Minutes 17:45 to 20:45 Natalie Wood’s semi-official biographer, Suzanne Finstad, wrote her first book about Natalie, Natasha, in 2002. She’s since gone over all the evidence in this case and has contacted potential witnesses, several of whom went on the record for her updated biography of Wood which came out earlier this month. Vanity Fair published a fascinating excerpt from the new book, building a case that Wagner killed Wood. She has two different witnesses, including a photographer and coroner’s intern, who went on the record with details of wounds on Wood’s body which are consistent with a violent fight and not with Wood trying to climb back onto the boat. Finstad revealed that Wagner had been abusing Wood for years. This case was reopened by LA County in 2011. Wagner is still alive at 90. Gossip Mysteries: Why did Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow break up as friends? Minutes 20:45 to 27:00 Madonna, Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow had a falling out in 2010 after Madonna dumped Tracy as her trainer. Gwyneth and Tracy opened gyms together and are still thick as thieves. We never found out how or why Madonna and Gwyneth fell out only that they are no longer friends and don’t talk about each other anymore. Tracy has a bad reputation and has been sued over six times after leaving clients and creditors of her gym in Indiana high and dry when she moved to work full time as a celebrity trainer. As background, Madonna started the charity Raising Malawi to help grease the wheels so she could adopt children from Malawi, which required residency prior to adoption. Madonna founded a school program in Malawi, which taught Kabbalah practices to children. (There were ongoing questions over how closely financially tied Raising Malawi was tied to the Kabbalah Centre, which was under investigation for tax evasion in 2011.) What’s more is that millions of dollars collected at a celebrity fundraiser for Raising Malawi in early 2008 were not accounted for over a year later. In September, 2009, we heard that Tracy was dating the head of Madonna’s charity, a man named Philippe van den Bossche, who had resigned his position to live with her. Then in October we heard that Madonna had dumped Tracy as her trainer. Right around that time Tracy was sued yet again by another creditor she had scammed, a man who claims he invested $1 million in Tracy’s business and made her custom exercise equipment. Chandra thinks Madonna dumped Tracy because Tracy was trying to hitch her star to Gwyneth. Also, Madonna may have realized how sketchy Tracy was while Gwyneth appreciates other people who scam people out of their money. Interestingly enough, Gwyneth founded Goop in September, 2008, around the time she met Tracy. Here’s a link to the story I wrote about the Hard Candy gyms that Madonna closed after members had prepaid for services. User Feedback: Minutes 27:00 to 28:00 Thanks to Anita for your nice text message about last week’s podcast. I also thank Shannon, Kristin, April, Brittany, Alnaaze and Clare for talking to me on Zoom. It’s crazy to talk to people who know as much if not more about celebrity gossip as me! (Since we recorded the podcast I talked to Kitty, Becky, Zakia and Angie!) Also thank you for all the nice messages. Comments of the Week: Minutes 28:00 to 31:00 My comment of the week is from BaddieB on the post about Daniel Dae Kim. Chandra’s comment of the week is from S808 on the post about Prince William stepping into a statesman role. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 5:00 This episode gets explicit starting around minute 12:00. Please do not listen to that part around kids at all! I’m feeling better and Chandra is feeling ok too. She’s been napping and going for walks in the afternoon. We’re both gym people and miss the controlled environment of a gym. Chandra’s mom is in an assisted living facility and they’ve banned eating in the communal living facility. She’s ok though. My mom has been sick with a cough but doesn’t have a fever. I’m concerned about how many people aren’t taking this seriously and have misconceptions about the pandemic. I’ve been eating so much in quarantine. Chandra isn’t eating more because she’s not working out as much. You can listen below! Vanessa Hudgens and Evangeline Lilly: Minutes 5:00 to 10:00 Chandra is surprised at how few bad incidents there have been with celebrities in the wake of the pandemic. I mention that Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas just did a paparazzi photoshoot where they went shopping. Vanessa Hudgens talked on Instagram Live about how disappointed she was that Coachella was postponed. She made some really tone deaf and offensive comments including “even if everybody gets it, people are going to die, which is terrible, but like, inevitable?” She issued a follow up video in which she claimed she was taken out of context and said she was home on lockdown. She didn’t apologize at all! Evangeline Lilly posted a photo of a cup of tea with the hashtag #businessasusual saying she’d dropped her kids off at gymnastics camp and wasn’t going to practice social distancing, essentially. Her follow-up comments were awful and referenced freedom and “marshall” [sic] law. Chandra mentions Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift, who wisely told their fans to take this seriously and stay inside. Ariana’s tweet about hip hop yoga was hilarious. Trump’s racism: Minutes 10:00 to 11:20 We make fun of the way Trump says “China” when using his racist language to refer to the coronavirus. Chandra says it’s like he’s saying “vagina,” which is accurate. As Chandra mentions, “it’s racist and he has a terrible accent.” He’s trying to change the conversation from how the US and his administration absolutely botched their response. This is his racist comfort zone. Male celebrities who probably go downtown: Minutes 11:20 to 18:40 We talk about the Twitter thread where people speculated which male celebrities go downtown. You know what that means! Jodie Turner Smith confirmed that her partner, Joshua Jackson, is good at it by posting a clip of Rick James doing “Superfreak.” I get really embarrassed during this conversation! Here are the celebrities we discuss: Justin Timberlake: No Leonardo Dicaprio: No Colin Farrell: Yes The Rock: Yes, he confirmed it Robert Pattinson: Yes, Chandra is iffy about it Kristofer Hivju (Tormund): Yes Robert DeNiro: Yes, Chandra thinks he’s too old, I disagree Jake Gyllenhaal: I think he does, Chandra does not Andrew Lincoln: Yes Prince Harry: Yes, Prince William: No Oscar Isaac: We disagree. I think he does, Chandra does not Adam Driver: Yes Tom Hardy: Yes Ben Affleck: You have to listen to this part (15:40) Michael Fassbender: Yes Clive Owen: Yes James McAvoy: Yes Gerard Butler: Yes After that Chandra talks about Stan Wawrinka and his face and I can’t! Plus we talk about John Mayer and Diplo. Ew that’s all I’m saying. User Feedback: Minutes 18:40 to 22:00 Barb in SoCal is an MD in California and tells us it sounds like we have COVID-19 based on the symptoms we described. She told us not to go out of the house, which we have been taking seriously. To be clear I did not go to pilates classes last week, I took classes on demand. I go off on businesses which are still staying open and Chandra says she understands small businesses which are just trying to stay in business. We got a nice email from Mary who has been reading us for 13 years! We got a text message from Dog Obsessed Girl about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas’ portmanteau. (I’m sorry I didn’t credit you, I only saw the email with the message and didn’t check the app!) Comments of the Week: Minutes 22:00 to 24:00 My comment of the week is from Me on the post about Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas needing to be in self isolation after going overseas. Chandra’s comment of the week is from S808 on the post about Princess Beatrice having to postpone her wedding for the third time. Thanks for listening bitches! You can text us or leave us a voicemail at 434-218-3219. Also if you are bored or lonely and just want to text me I will totally text with you! I work from 5am to 1pm and take a nap until about 3pm EST. Anytime after 3pm until about 9pm I’m usually available for texting.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 8:00 I have been sick for over a week and feel like I can’t clear my throat. Chandra was sick too but got over it quicker. We have no way of knowing whether we got coronavirus because there are almost no tests in America. I think I caught whatever I have from my son who came home with a bad head cold. As of this recording his school was still open, but our governor, Ralph Northam, announced a state of emergency in Virginia and his school has been closed until March 27. I mention an article I read in the Washington Post about a researcher in Seattle who was told to stop testing samples. We’re suspicious of all the rich connected people who can get tests while the rest of us don’t have access to them. Chandra is missing her tennis fix as new tournaments have been canceled. She’s watching HGTV and cooking shows and I love the new show Dispatches from Elsewhere on AMC. Chandra recommends I watch Watchmen on HBO.   Royals: Minutes 8:00 to 19:20 Harry and Meghan just completed the “You Could’ve Have a Bad Bitch" Tour with their final appearances as royals in the UK. Meghan wore several iconic outfits you probably remember, including the red-caped Safiyaa gown, her blue bodycon Victoria Beckham dress, her white skirt and top by Topshop and Roland Mouret and her green Emilia Wickstead dress and hat. I gush about how open and vulnerable Meghan continues to look, even as she’s being snubbed and treated poorly by her husband’s family. Chandra mentions that Princess Diana had this quality too. We talk about Meghan’s affirmational life and how she’s able to avoid negativity. Chandra thinks Meghan’s fashion has improved so much because she’s finally able to dress like she wants and doesn’t have to dress frumpy to please the royals. She actually looked like she was enjoying herself during the Commonwealth Day service despite all the petty drama with the royals. We laugh about the trolls hating Meghan when she always looks so sweet and composed. Chandra explains the drama over the Sussexes entering Westminster Abbey separate from The Queen, unlike last year’s service. She doesn’t believe the conspiracy that William got told off by The Queen. We got a tip from a reader in London who claims to have insider knowledge from royal sources that William and Harry fell out due to William’s affair. Her connections sounded legit to us. Chandra doesn’t believe that’s the sole reason for the brothers falling out. She thinks it’s more due to William’s treatment of Meghan. Politics: Minutes 19:20 to 22:00 Biden won the next set of primaries and Sanders has yet to step down. Chandra wants me to insert a clip of Biden saying “malarkey” and is ruining my setup. She’s not 100% behind Biden but of course we’re going to vote for him and will be so grateful when he’s president, knock all the wood. She told me about Biden’s coronavirus speech, which I missed because I was napping. It was somewhat boring and wonky, which we miss so much from Obama. Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas: Minutes 22:00 to 27:00 Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas did a paparazzi beach stroll in Costa Rica to celebrate their new relationship. Chandra thinks we should call them Afflarmas, which I forgot to mention in the last post I wrote about them. Ben is 47 and Ana is 31 but looks like she’s in her early 20s. Chandra reminds me of Ana’s Vanity Fair interview where she revealed her sheltered life growing up in Cuba. She also got defensive about her career and I read an excerpt where she denies sleeping her way to the top, essentially. She used to date a very high-level CAA executive named Franklin Latt. I googled him and he looks hot and not too old for her. She’s not the screwed up one here. We wonder if she’s ever Googled Affleck and what advice she’s getting from friends. User Feedback: Minutes 27:00 to 28:15 Miriam is in Kirkland, Washington and lives right near the nursing home where so many people have passed away from coronavirus. She sent us a nice email us thanking us for helping provide normalcy while she was at home working during a stressful time. Chandra loves working from home and we’ve been doing this for so many years. We feel bad for people who have to go to the office and stay so late. Comments of The Week: Minutes 28:15 to 31:00 My comment of the week is from Spicecake38 on the post about Naomi Campbell wearing a hazmat suit and goggles to fly. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Mich on the post about how Brad Pitt tried to one-up Angelina Jolie after she told the story of two of their daughters needing surgery. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:00 We’re worried about the Coronavirus, which will affect our parents in their current living situations. We’re trying not to panic about it at all. You can listen below! Democratic Primaries: Minutes 3:00 to 9:00 I break the news to Chandra that I voted for Biden and she understands that. We’re both ok with the idea of voting for Biden in the general election. People trust him to be a good Democratic and to hopefully beat Trump. Chandra voted for Warren because she wanted her to have enough delegates to be important and to be part of the conversation. Warren had stepped down as of our recording, and we do not yet know who she would endorse. Warren is the reason Bloomberg is no longer a factor despite his enormous ad spending. I was worried that Sanders would still somehow pull through and Chandra reassured me about that. I love Joe Biden’s wife, Dr. Jill Biden, and Chandra mentions the incident where Jill protected Joe from protestors who rushed the stage while he was speaking. Here’s a link to that video. Royals: Minutes 9:00 to 16:30 As of our recording, we had not seen the iconically beautiful photos of Harry and Meghan at the Endeavor awards or at the Festival of Remembrance. There’s a conspiracy theory that Kate and William planned the Irish tour so that they would be out of town when Harry and Meghan arrived. Chandra does not believe that was the case, given how long ago it was announced. Kate’s wardrobe has been a total wreck this tour. She’s been wearing crazy throwback fashion that looks like late 70s/early 80s Diana cosplay. It’s disturbing to Chandra but I find it funny and think that Kate’s fashion shows her personality. (The outfits we discuss are at the top and the bottom of this post and there are links above to more photos.) Chandra thinks William has a hand in Kate’s fashion choices, but I think it’s her decision. Here’s the Willileaks tweet Chandra mentions, which is one of her most commented and liked tweets. Katy Perry is pregnant: Minutes 16:30 to 22:30 Chandra wasn’t surprised to hear about Katy Perry’s pregnancy and thinks she was doing the mental health work to prepare to be a mother. I wonder what happened to her music as it seems to have gone downhill after “Swish Swish” in 2017. She revealed her pregnancy at the end of the music video for “Never Worn White” and the song and lyrics are so bad! Chandra knows that there will be brides who use this terrible song for their first dance at their weddings. I play a segment from Katy’s Instagram story video where she mentions her due date is in the summer. Don’t worry I cut all the chewing out! I hate hearing people chew. Chandra hopes that Katy and Orlando Bloom wait to get married. She thinks he’s shady and we reminisce about the time he fought Orlando Bloom over his ex, Miranda Kerr. He also dated Selena Gomez briefly. User Feedback: Minutes 22:30 to 26:00 Both of the people whose comments were chosen as comments of the week last week learned by listening to our podcast! That was a surprise to us as we do a half-assed job choosing the comments of the week. Last Sunday Chandra tweeted that she made the choice not to publish big royals stories so it would be easier for us to manage the comments over the weekend. Marlo tweeted that she’s been reading us for ten years and remembers our Hot Guy Friday posts. Comments of the week: Minutes 26:00 to 29:30 My comment of the week is from BlondieR on the post about Laura Dern’s goldfish passing away at 15. Chandra’s comment is from a tweet by Shannon about how Kate’s fashion mirrored the Irish flag during their tour of Ireland. As we’re talking I realize how true this is! Kate wore a green outfit the first day in Ireland, a white coat the second day and a reddish orange sweater the third! Thanks for listening bitches! You can call us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 6:10 I’m sorry we took such a long break! We had to scramble to cover the awards season, our busiest time of year, and the weekend after the Oscars I moved to a new house. Chandra is glad I have central air conditioning now as we both live in the south and I was still using window air conditioners in my last place. I never really thought about it and just dealt with it for years, but it is a huge upgrade to have whole house air conditioning and heating. Chandra spent the week freaking out about the Coronavirus. I’m trying to think of it like Ebola and the Zika virus in that those didn’t materialize into epidemics, but this seems different. You can listen below! Royals: Minutes 6:10 to 14:40 We spent all of 2019 talking about how the royal family wanted to push Harry and Meghan out. When they left they got criticized for it endlessly. The big news was the the Queen decided to pull their “Royal” branding so they can no longer call themselves Sussex Royal. They pushed back against the negative coverage by releasing clearly worded statements on their website about how there was precedence for other royals to work and how the palace does not have jurisdiction over the use of the word “royal” overseas. The palace has a 12 month review period in place as Harry and Meghan become independent, but what will the palace do after that? It’s not like they can order them to come back. They can only continue to punish them. Other royal stories include Canada stating that they’re not going to pay for the Sussexes’ security and the news that the Cambridges have been buying bot followers to constantly outpace the Sussex Royal Instagram follower numbers. The Democratic primary: Minutes 14:40 to 22:16 We’re both rooting for Elizabeth Warren and think she’s the best candidate. It’s unclear who will be the nominee as projections vary. Super Tuesday is coming up fast and it’s going to be intense. Chandra reminds me how everyone wanted Warren to run in 2016 but now that she’s running they’re not taking her seriously as a candidate. We play a segment from the debate where Warren called out Bloomberg for firing a woman when she was pregnant and telling her to abort her baby. There’s actually a witness to this, a former Bloomberg employee, who went on the record with his full name to the Washington Post. We doubt that Bloomberg has a chance, but his ads are good. We’re both concerned that Bernie Sanders will get the nomination. Our choices feel crappy and we miss Kamala Harris. New version of Emma: Minutes 22:16 to 27:00 There’s a new version of Emma out with Anya Taylor-Joy, whom I know from Thoroughbreds. Chandra reminds me that she was also in Glass and Split, and I’m surprised that Chandra liked Glass! I turned it off during the asylum part. Chandra thought it was a great ending to the trilogy. Anya Taylor-Joy has been “stunt fashioning” where she’s been wearing crazy outfits during her promotional tour. Some of those pictures are in this post! The director of Emma, Autumn de Wilde, said that the lead character, Emma Woodhouse is “a dick.” Chandra is a big Austen fan and questions that interpretation, saying that Emma is just privileged, not mean. The trailer makes it seem like a CW show about mean girls. Bill Nighy is a great actor, but he’s playing Emma’s father and his character does not look true to the book. User Feedback and our cunt crowns: Minutes 27:00 to 29:30 Thank you to Suzanne for writing us a nice email in appreciation of our royals coverage. We also talk about our cunt crowns! Chandra tweeted that she was called a cunt by someone in the comments and LaUnica Angelina tweeted a gif of Rihanna putting on a crown, telling her to “wear it with pride.” We then claimed our individual cunt crowns. Chandra’s has sapphires and mine has emeralds and diamonds. I really want teardrop emerald pieces down the front, but I didn’t get into that much detail on Twitter. Comments of the Week: Minutes 29:30 to end My comment of the week is from Hollah on the post about Prince Harry wanting to be introduced as just “Harry.” (Harry and Meghan’s wedding picture which I mention is the top photo in this post. Here’s a link to that story I mention about the history of white supremacy in the royal family.) Chandra’s comment of the week is from lucy2 on the post about Presley Gerber’s idiotic face tattoo. Thanks for listening bitches and for hanging in there during our hiatus!

The Sussexes won’t be using their HRH titles: Minutes 0 to 5:45 (recorded Saturday) This week we have a slightly different format due to the breaking news on Saturday that the Sussexes won’t be using their HRH titles and will reimburse the Sovereign Grant for the renovations to Frogmore Cottage. We recorded an update on Saturday and open with that news. Chandra thinks this news came out on Saturday because these details needed intense negotiation behind the scenes. She says that reimbursing the palace for the renovations was probably not the Sussexes’ idea, although it’s presented that way. Intro: Minutes 5:45 to 9:15 (rest of the podcast recorded Thursday) Starting here, the rest of the podcast was recorded Thursday. We’ll be back the first week in February and the last week in February, but that’s tentative and will change if major news drops. Chandra anticipated that Harry and Meghan would lose their HRH titles, which sort-of happened as you know. I talk about the culture shock I had being married to a German guy and living in Germany, and how I can relate to Duchess Meghan. Meghan’s situation was so much worse due to the pressure from the royal family and the press. The Sandringham summit: Minutes 9:15 to 13 Harry sat down with the Queen alone first and then met with Charles and William. Chandra thinks they must have spent a lot of time working on the first statement from the Queen, which was very personable and used Harry and Meghan’s first names and the wording “my family.” The Queen is typically tone deaf, as evidenced by her response to Diana’s death. At the end of her reign people are starting to realize this about her. The Andrew debacle damaged the monarchy and changed the way that people see her. Meghan did two events in Vancouver: Minutes 13 to 14:30 When Harry was back in London, Meghan stayed in Vancouver and met with two different women’s organizations, Justice for Girls and the Downtown Eastside Women’s Center. She looked super cute in leggings and a cable knit sweater and was clearly enjoying her new casual role. Harry did his last event as a senior royal, he launched the 2021 Rugby League World Cup Mental Fitness Charter at Kensington Palace and he also announced the locale for the 2022 Invictus Games. Chandra emailed with Buzzfeed reporter about the article comparing Meghan and Kate’s headlines: Minutes 14:30 to 20:30 Before we recorded, I asked Chandra if we could talk about the Buzzfeed article comparing the headlines between Meghan and Kate. Kate has been consistency praised for minor issues like eating avocados while Meghan was nitpicked was associated and the atrocities of the avocado supply chain. It turns out that Chandra is friendly with Ellie and that she emailed her with some ideas for that article! Ellie came up with this idea for the comparison headlines back in December. It’s baffling to me the things that people use to nitpick Meghan. Oscar nominations: Minutes 20:30 to 30:45 Chandra is about halfway through Parasite, which I’ve seen too. We both love it, no spoilers! We don’t think Parasite will win best picture, but Bong Joon-ho might win best director. Chandra is worried that Joker will win best picture, but she’s ok with Joaquin Phoenix winning best actor. Quentin Tarantino might get best director because he has such a great body of work and has only won two screenplay Oscars. We both saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is a very good movie with great performances. Chandra thinks Tarantino isn’t mad about Bong Joon-ho winning best director at the Critics Choice Awards despite Tarantino’s expression. Chandra mentions a podcast called The Rewatchables, in which Tarantino talked about how Dunkirk was Christopher Nolan’s best movie. Snubs included Awkwafina, Lupita, Taron Egerton and Jennifer Lopez while Scarlett Johansson got TWO nominations! Chandra is salty about Jennifer Lopez not getting her first Oscar nomination, which she totally deserved. User feedback and questions: Minutes 30:45 to 34 Our user feedback is from Jacqueline, who said our Sussexit podcast last week was one of our best. Thank you Jackie! She also asked whether it was unique for Harry to date an independent woman like Meghan instead of an aristocrat like his previous girlfriends. Harry has a ton of money and it must have been eye-opening for him to date a woman making her way in the world. Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas both worked though. Cressida was a bohemian person trying to figure her life out. Chelsea got her law degree and then became a jewelry designer. Jackie’s point still stands that Meghan must have been a breath of fresh air to Harry. Comments of the week: Minutes 34 to 38:30 My comment of the week is from Arpeggi on the post about Gwyneth Paltrow’s $75 “This Smells like my Vagina” votive candle. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Lara K on Diplo’s GQ profile. Like Chandra, Lara also wants to shamef-k Diplo. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:15 We intended on taking the entire month of January off from the podcast but due to Sussexit we’ve changed our plans. We’ll have two episodes in January and two in February instead. I’m moving in February and will need a little time off for that and the Oscars. We will have another podcast for you next week and are planning on coming back on February 3rd and February 24th. Please check out our revised calendar. Note that this episode was released on Sunday due to the Critics Choice Awards coming out that night. We’ll also release on Sunday next week but should return to our regular Monday morning release time for our two episodes in February. My gym has been really crowded due to the new people at the beginning of the year. Both Chandra and I try to avoid the most crowded times at the gym and store. Sussexit intro: Minutes 4:15 to 5:20 Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced in the afternoon US time last Wednesday that they’re stepping down as senior royals. We think the timing was designed to give preference to the US outlets as it was already evening in the UK and the British press had to play catch up. At the same time, they launched their new website SussexRoyal.com, with a detailed outline of their plans. We talk more about that a little later. Harry and Meghan’s timing: Minutes 5:20 to 8:00 The Sussexes took six weeks off over the holidays and we didn’t know where they were at first but then heard they were in Canada. Chandra believes the stories that William exposed their location because his go-to reporter, Rebecca English, broke the news. We didn’t see them but did get a new photo of Archie and Harry which they released in an end of year video. They were seen by photographers for the first time in six weeks outside Canada house in London on January 7th, the day before their announcement. Meghan and Harry looked so happy and united, and Meghan was glowing! That was the look of a woman who was winning. Chandra said that this was their going away photoshoot and that they knew everyone would use them with the news stories which were about to break. I bring up the last photos of Katie Holmes with Tom Cruise looking triumphant right before she divorced him when she had seemed really depressed right before that. Chandra remembers how often Katie was photographed alone prior to that and how over the marriage Nicole Kidman looked in her final months with Tom. I’ve included all those photos below, I had fun looking them up! I was wrong about the timeline on the Katie Holmes photos though. She looked amazing at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in February and filed for divorce in June. It’s likely her plan was underway at that time though. Meghan is a superb planner: Minutes 8:00 to 11:00 Chandra explains what a next-level planner and game theorist Meghan is, especially in light of how expertly she mapped out that letter to her father, knowing he would sell it to the media and she could eventually sue. She used a similar strategy here. It’s possible that Harry and Meghan weren’t ready to make the announcement but that they did it knowing that it was about to leak. They had it all set up expertly. We heard that the Queen was caught off guard and William was “incandescent with rage,” but then additional stories revealed that Harry and Meghan were trying to work out the details with the royal family behind the scenes and were given the runaround. By making their plans public, the Sussexes have outplayed the Queen, who will look awful if she takes away their royal titles, especially since her Prince Andrew retains his. The “Royal Rota” and the press: Minutes 11:00 to 15:30 We didn’t know that the Royal Rota was an official thing and just assumed that all outlets in the press corps have equal access, but the Sussexes lay this out on their new website. It’s official that certain publications get first access to the royals. These are the same outlets which have been trashing Meghan and Harry. By exposing them, they’re implying that the leaks and smears are coming from royal sources. Chandra thinks it’s quite obvious payback. The Queen and senior royals are scrambling to come up with a solution now that all of this is public. The Sussexes’ finances: Minutes 15:30 to 23 The financial section of SussexRoyal is confusing. They said they get 95% of their funding from The Duchy of Cornwall or Prince Charles and 5% of their funding from the Sovereign Grant, or The Queen. They will be giving up the Sovereign Grant and Chandra explains that whether they’ll keep their funding from Charles depends on a few factors which are yet to be determined. It likely won’t matter if they’re senior royals, but it will be matter if they’re still designated working royals, if they get to keep their HRH designation and whether they keep their titles. They have so many options to make money, like Netflix and book deals. They have a lot of support here in the US. Chandra mentions the “good sis Meghan” tweets and I read tweets by Elizabeth Kidd and Eve Ettinger. Comments of the Week: Minutes 23 to 23 My comments of the week were from smcollins and My3cents on the post with Gwyneth Paltrow’s awful dress at the Golden Globes. Chandra’s comment of the week was from Zapp Brannigan on the post about Kensington Palace’s happy birthday message to Duchess Kate. Thanks for listening bitches! Intro: Minutes 0 to 11:00 This is our last episode until February 3rd and we’re sorry! We need a break for the holidays and all the awards shows which are coming out in January! On February 11th, the day after the Oscars, we’ll have a filler episode, but we’ll be back all of February and into the spring. Last week was tough for us and it feels like it the holidays came super fast this year. I just saw A Beautiful Day in The Neighborhood, which wasn’t what I was expecting but I loved it. Chandra loved Won’t You Be My Neighbor, last year’s documentary about Mr. Rogers which got snubbed at the Oscars. I also really am enjoying The Mandalorian, which is better than I expected. I’m about halfway through The Irishman. I like it ok but it’s really long. Chandra is watching Dublin Murders, which my mom loves too. They have similar taste in shows. She’s also watching Prodigal Son, which is stupid but she likes police procedurals so she’s sticking with it. You can listen below! Justin Timberlake apologized to Jessica Biel: Minutes 11:00 to 15:20 Justin Timberlake issued a public apology to Jessica Biel two weeks after he was photographed holding hands with his costar, Alisha Wainwright. That was on November 22 and on December 5th he wrote a long message to Instagram saying sorry. Then we heard that Jessica told Justin to apologize. After that we got a story in People with sourced quotes like “Jessica believes he didn’t cheat on her,” and “She’ll never break up her family over something like this.” We totally forgot about that story before the apology because it wasn’t surprising at all if Justin cheated on Jessica. There were so many rumors that he stepped out on her before they got married. We remember Justin and Jessica’s People Magazine cover for their wedding and his Instagram post for her pregnancy, which were all about Justin. Royals: Minutes 15:20 to 18:30 About a month ago, in Episode 36, we talked about the fact that Princess Beatrice hadn’t set a wedding date yet. That’s still true. She got engaged at the end of September and she’s having an engagement party this week, but the venue and date have changed. There’s still no word on the date for her wedding, which won’t have a carriage ride and will be low key due to her father ruining everything for her. Chandra mentions that it’s unusual for royals not to set a date this late. Duchess Kate went to a diplomatic reception in velvet McQueen. She was wearing a giant tiara with her hair up and had a giant diamond statement necklace and earrings. It was so classic and gorgeous. I was seriously jealous and just want to know what it’s like to wear that many diamonds. Chandra thought the shoulders of that dress looked perfect and balanced perfectly with her accessories. Golden Globe and SAG Nominations: Minutes 18:30 to 24:00 This week the Golden Globe and SAG Nominations came out, with lots of love for The Irishman, Marriage Story and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood which could end up the safe pick for Oscar voters. People love the Korean film Parasite, which is only the second foreign language movie to be nominated for best ensemble at SAGs. Game of Thrones got shut out at the Globes except for a nomination for Kit Harington, but they did get a best ensemble nomination at SAGs. Irishman is not that interesting to me as it runs really long and Chandra mentions that, like Ford vs. Ferrari, it’s a dad movie in that it’s easy for guys to watch, it’s about gangsters and has all their favorite actors in it. I mention the criticism of Marriage Story that it’s like every acting class where students have to yell at each other. Chandra brings up the whitewashing of Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach’s relationship, which likely started when Noah was married to Jennifer Jason Leigh. Lizzo showed her ass and made it about empowerment: Minutes 24:00 to 27:50 Lizzo was courtside at the Lakers vs. Timberwolves game in LA. She wore a dress with the ass cut out and she had on fishnets and a thong underneath. Then she twerked in that dress to her song Juice when the Laker Girls were performing to it. In response she recorded a video to her stories in which she tried to make it about empowerment. Chandra thinks both things can be true, it can be body positive and that Lizzo has every right to have her ass hanging out, but that it’s over the top too. Lizzo’s response is similar to Lena Dunham in that she’s manufacturing controversy so that she can act indignant and issue a statement about it. Chandra thinks there’s somewhat of a backlash against Lizzo. User Feedback: Minutes 27:50 to 28:40 Last week I said that Toni was our first binge listener, but I totally forgot that Rose told us she was binge listening months ago. I’m sorry Rose! Also Clumsyme said we were her number one podcast this year which is surprising, but we’ll take it! Comments of The Week: Minutes 28:40 to My comment of the week is from Darla on the post about Kanye wearing a silver bodysuit and silver paint for a performance at Art Basel. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Zapp Brannigan and Lala11_7 on the blind item and Greta Gerwig posts. Thanks for listening bitches and have a great holiday!

Intro: Minutes 0:00 to 7:40 I got a new car and love it. It’s a Chevy Impala but I went in thinking I would get a Nissan Altima. Chandra’s dad always told her to buy American but that’s based on the fact that American cars used to be more reliable and easy to fix. We’ll be back next week for another episode and are off for the holidays and awards season until the first week of February. We’re nervous about January as there is an awards show every Sunday that month! The Oscars are on February 9th so we’ll have a filler episode on February 10th.  Trump is mad at world leaders for talking about him: Minutes 7:40 to 10:45 Trump went to London, making us embarrassed to be Americans as usual, but at least people in other countries feel sorry for us. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was caught on a hot mic gossiping to other world leaders about Trump. In response Trump called Trudeau “two-faced.” Chandra likes that Princess Anne was so involved in that gossipy group, along with French President Emmanuel Macron, British PM Boris Johnson, and Dutch PM Mark Rutte. Prince Andrew’s disastrous interview and The Queen possibly stepping down: Minutes 10:45 to 19:10 During our break Prince Andrew did that horrific BBC interview where he didn’t express any sympathy for the victims and instead sounded more sorry for Jeffrey Epstein. Interviewer Emily Maitlis was very prepared and called him sout. Andrew lied about everything, denied knowing Virginia Roberts and denied even “sweating” during the time he not-so-allegedly raped her. Here’s a link to the article I mention about how Andrew’s alleged lack of sweating is not likely to be caused by trauma as he claims. His story and the palace’s story changed after the reaction to the interview was overwhelmingly bad. The Queen initially supported Andrew and has been seen out with him, but the palace is now trying to shield her from criticism. Andrew has been fired from royal duties, but it took Charles stepping in and taking charge. It’s unknown whether the Queen will hand over duties to Prince Charles. Peloton Ad goes viral: Minutes 19:10 to 23 A Peloton Ad where a woman is gifted one of their $2,250 bikes by her husband went viral. The actress looked scared, the gift seemed to be out of the blue and the woman seemed obligated to work out, even taping her workouts for her husband. It seemed more like a portrait of an abusive marriage than a look into exercise changing someone’s life. Peloton’s stock dropped and their response was indignant, saying that the ad was misunderstood. Peloton knows their target audience, rich bitches in gilded cages. Knives Out spoiler-free review and what we watched over Thanksgiving: Minutes 23 to 31:45 I went to go see Knives Out in my local theater wearing my best white chunky sweater and it had left the theater already! Chandra saw it and loved it. She says it has an Agatha Christie vibe with a gorgeous set design, but modernized. She particularly loved Chris Evans in it, but considers Toni Collette the weak link. I’m not a fan of Toni Collette after enduring Hereditary, which I hated. Chandra just saw Midsommar, by the same writer/director Ari Aster, and loved it. This is surprising to me because she usually hates horror movies. Chandra only watched five minutes of Us though and had to turn it off when it got too scary. She also recommends the Andy Murray documentary, Resurfacing, on Amazon Prime. I saw Free Solo finally and it was scary. Chandra liked The Farewell but isn’t sure Awkwafina is a lock for a best actress nomination. She says The Hustle is worth a quick rental as it’s funny and stupid. I loved JoJo Rabbit, which was sadder than I thought it would be. Chandra loves the What We Do in The Shadow series with JoJo Rabbit writer/director Taika Waititi. If you are looking for new podcasts and shows to watch, I recommend the Podjiba podcast by our friends at Pajiba. I love listening to people talk about TV and they’re so funny together. User Feedback Minutes 31:45 to 32:30 Thanks to our first binge listener, Toni! We also talk about Briana and LaUnica Angelina, who is always so nice to us! I love talking to her and am thinking about her after she lost her brother. (We recorded this before I learned about that.) Comments of the week: Minutes 32:30 to 36 My comment of the week is from stepup on the post about Chrissy Teigen saying turkey tastes like ass. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Ann on the post about Taylor Swift’s People Magazine cover interview. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0:00 to 8:30 We’ll be off for the next three weeks and are coming back for two weeks in December. After that we will be off all of January. See our podcast post for #36 for a link to the calendar of release dates.  Minute 3:00: I ask Chandra how long she’s been sober, and it’s much longer than I remember. We talk about our sobriety, which I wanted to discuss after reading her introduction to the story about Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson. I mention how smart and thoughtful Kaitlynn Carter, Miley’s ex, sounded in her essay about their fling. While I do not talk about this on the podcast, I got a really moving email from a reader who said that my coverage of the Jamie Lee Curtis story resonated with her and that she’s going to quit drinking. I just wanted to give her support here and hope she is able to see and listen to this. Keanu’s age-appropriate relationship: Minutes 8:30 to 13:00 Keanu Reeves, 55, went to the LACMA art and film gala with his new-to-us girlfriend, a 46-year-old artist named Alexandra Grant whom he met around 2011 when they worked on a book together. She looks like Helen Mirren and has gorgeous silver hair. It’s unknown when they became more than friends. People quoted an insider who said they started dating earlier this year and that he wants to “openly share his life with her,” which is the sweetest and sounds just like Keanu. Other stories claim they’ve been dating since the summer of 2017. He’s a wonderful person and there are so many stories about him being kind and helpful. Plus he rides motorcycles, that always gets me. Richard Gere and Dennis Quaid’s much younger partners: Minutes 13:00 to 17:30 Last week we talked about Peter Cook’s engagement to a 21-year-old coed. Richard Gere, 70, has a 36-year-old wife and she’s now expecting her second baby with him. Their first baby is nine months old and he has a 19-year-old son with Carrie Lowell. Dennis Quaid, 65, is engaged to a 26 year-old he’s dated six months tops and he wants to get married soon. Chandra says that Dennis Quaid’s fiance reminds her of Bobby Flay’s ex, Stephanie March, and we go off on a funny tangent about the “Cheater” banner that flew over his Walk of Fame ceremony! The palace covered up reports on Epstein in 2015: Minutes 17:30 to 24:00 Journalist Amy Robach was caught on a hot mic revealing that the palace shut down a 2015 report that she was preparing for ABC news on Jeffrey Epstein. They didn’t want his dear friend Prince Andrew exposed as a rapist. Virginia Roberts was 17 when she was trafficked to Prince Andrew and was photographed with him in 2001. She spoke to Robach for that report. The palace said they would deny access to the popular royals if ABC ran that story. Andrew is still doing events and his mother Queen Elizabeth is still protecting him while not lifting a finger to stop the negative coverage about Meghan. Chandra wonders why Princess Beatrice hasn’t announced a wedding date yet. It could be because her father’s crimes keep making headlines. The battle of the Mr. Darcys: Minutes 24:00 to 30:00 There was a debate on Twitter as to which Mr. Darcy in Austen’s Pride and Prejudice was hottest, Colin Firth in the 1995 miniseries and Matthew Macfadyen’s Darcy in the 2005 film. Chandra wrote about it and that was one of our most popular posts last week as people have strong opinions about the hottest Mr. Darcy! She thinks that both Darcys are great in their own way while I slightly prefer Matthew Macfadyen. I’m not a huge Austen fan but I loved the 1995 adaptation of Sense and Sensibility and owned it on VHS. She recommends the BBC’s Sense and Sensibility mini series from 2008 and their Emma mini series with Romola Garai and Jonny Lee Miller from 2009. I didn’t like the Gwyneth Paltrow Emma movie from 1996, but I never liked her. Chandra liked her in Sylvia and we go off on a tangent about Daniel Craig, whom she thinks makes a great Bond but I find too grumpy. We want Idris Elba to be Bond! Comments of the week: Minutes 30:00 to 35:00 My comment of the week is from Pineapple on the post about how John Cena is an awesome person. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Lorelei and Valiantly Varnished on the post about baby Archie being an adorable genius. Thanks for listening bitches! Call us at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 8:00 My town postponed Halloween and I’m not happy about that. Chandra thinks everything was crappy last week due to Mercury retrograde. (This is the article where she got the wall of text I mentioned which she posted into our google document!) I think that’s a post hoc fallacy, but I am waiting to buy a new laptop until it’s over just in case, as I mentioned in this Twitter thread. Halloween is my favorite holiday as you get to dress up and it’s the candy holiday! We wonder whether every holiday is a candy holiday.  Royals: Minutes 8:00 to 15:00 Duchess Meghan received support from 72 female MPs, who called out the racist coverage she’s been getting in the British press, without ever using the word “racist.” The MP who took the lead on that, Holly Lynch, got a personal phone call from Meghan thanking her. Chandra and I both love Meghan and find her so genuine, warm and hardworking. It’s bizarre to us that the British tabloids aren’t embracing this about her and capitalizing on her charm. Meanwhile no one is talking about Prince Andrew’s very real crimes. Lori Loughlin: Minutes 15:00 to 18:30 Lori Loughlin is covering People Magazine for the third time, and from the sourced quotes it’s clear that she’s still just as delusional and self-righteous as ever. I say that she’s never changed her tune from the beginning, but Chandra says at least Lori recognizes she should have taken the plea deal even if she still thinks she can fight it. Thanks Karen on Twitter for asking us to read part of Lori’s ridiculous sourced quotes with the background music, like I love to do. Poor Lori was “duped by unscrupulous people,” you can’t understand you guys! Lori will “take the fall” for her daughters, which Chandra says makes her daughters look guilty too. I don’t think they’re smart enough to run anything. Peter Cook’s engagement to a 21-year-old: Minutes 18:30 to 24:00 Peter Cook is Christie Brinkley’s emotionally abusive POS ex husband. He is engaged to a 21-year-old woman who comes from a wealthy, well-connected family. I let Chandra know that I edited a key part of her story about it, but I don’t disagree with what she wrote and am actually a bit ruder about that. Here’s a link to the Instagram photo we laugh about where you can see her engagement ring and boob in the same shot. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss: Minutes 24:00 to 27:00 The creators of Game of Thrones, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, admitted they had no idea what they were doing when they first started the show and refused to take advice or accept help. Then we heard that they lost their three picture Star Wars deal with Lucasfilm. That was because they signed a deal with Netflix around the same time. The Hollywood Reporter article on that was dishy and made it sound like the head of Lucasfilm, Kathleen Kennedy, had screwed up a lot by giving huge deals to unproven filmmakers. User feedback: Minutes 27:00 to 28:30 Thanks Esmom and Thomet for your kind comments! Comments of the week: Minutes 28:30 to 33:00 My comment of the week was on Instagram from ThePupilinDenial on the post about Katie Holmes’s bizarre street style. Chandra’s comment of the week is from susiecue on the post about Laurie Loughlin being duped by unscrupulous people. We have a special bonus from Hecate, who picked DameJudy’s comment on the story about filmmakers being mad at Netflix for their feature of being able to watch shows speeded up. I go on a tangent about Blockers, which I mistakenly thought Judd Apatow did. I also give spoilers for that crazy teen movie on Netflix, The Package. You can leave us a voicemail or text at 434-218-3219. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 3:45 We’re back after I had an acoustic crisis after cleaning out my office. I’ve installed sound panels and moved couch cushions, which seem to have fixed the problem more than all the acoustic muffling supplies I bought off Amazon! This is our promised Halloween episode, which is somewhat of a follow-up to our ghost story episode, #16. Lori Loughlin: Minutes 3:45 to 8:00 Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are facing up to 50 years in prison following a third indictment “to commit federal bribery” by trying to bribe USC officials. We both agree that Lori is a terrible person who has been playing the victim, which likely affected her case. I mention a recent commenter smearing Sofia Vergara who just happened to be commenting from California. We feel sorry for Sofia for having to go through that lawsuit with her crazy ex, but she’s living her best life with Joe Manganiello. Royals: Minutes 8:00 to 23:45 Duchess Kate and Prince William had a successful royal tour of Pakistan, which was due to Kate’s newfound confidence. She can be awkward during appearances, and this is a positive change for her. Meghan is a good role model as well as being a good scapegoat for the media. Prince William looked miserable during that trip, but that’s typical of him. The new documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey aired on ITV and ABC in the US. You can see what a team The Sussexes are and how well suited they are for each other. They’re both very hard workers who are dedicated to their causes and want to make a difference. Harry worked on his mental health before he met Meghan and she has also made him a better person. He’s self aware and vulnerable but that in no way makes him “fragile.” William’s sourced statements to the press about the Sussexes are gaslighting. Meghan is a positive person but she can have blinders on and refuse to see the downside. They’re fighting back now and it’s impressive how well they’re managing that. Chandra’s ghost stories: Minutes 23:45 to 30 Chandra retells her most chilling ghost story, which happened a year to the day and hour(!) that her father passed away. Her mother has a similar story with an even more chilling twist. Chandra also had a very scary experience at college. Hecate’s Halloween doll collection: Minutes 30 to 46 Hecate and I talk about her awesome Halloween doll displays, which are centered around her maybe-haunted childhood doll, Jessica Gwendoline, who wreaks havoc when she is not the center of attention. I’ve included photos of the dolls below and you can see more on her Instagram! Here’s a link to the photo that Hecate mentions where Jessica Gwendoline’s eyes appeared painted where they weren’t before. This is how they looked before. We also talk about the power of belief, whether haunted objects exist and whether it matters. User Feedback: Minutes 46 to 48 Thanks to Myrtle and Becks1 for your feedback. I also wanted to thank everyone who gave me skydiving encouragement, including ChicagoAudrey, Hollah and Manda. I will definitely do that I just have to wait until it gets warm again. Chandra doesn’t think I should reschedule that. Comments of the Week: Minutes 48 to 51:30 My comment of the week is by Meghan on the post about Jana Kramer defending her husband for receiving and deleting nude photos of “bots.” Chandra’s comment of the week is from Market Street Minifig on the post about Miley Cyrus being homophobic. Thanks for listening bitches! Text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 5 My skydive was canceled due to weather and Chandra thinks I should not reschedule it. I’m watching two sweet dogs and can’t reschedule it for a while anyway. Chandra talks about how much work two cats are compared to just one. Also people were in a bad mood this week. Royals: Minutes 5 to 9:45 Harry is joining a lawsuit against the British tabloids for the hacking scandal. Not much is known about that. Kate made a couple of appearances and she looked really lovely, her style is improving. It’s unclear what she’s doing exactly other than attending meetings. Kate is hyping the Early Years program but the details are very vague. I make the point that attending meetings can be a lot of work in itself and she deserves some credit for that. Hot mayor of Minneapolis: Minutes 9:45 to 13:30 The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, told Donald Trump he would have to prepay to hold one of his Nazi rallies there. Trump is known for making cities foot the bill and eat this cost. Trump tweeted at Frey and he handled it like a boss! Chandra and I talk about how gorgeous and woke mayor Frey is and she recommends that I creep his Instagram.   Angelina Jolie: Minutes 13:30 to 16:30 Angelina Jolie has been looking gorgeous at the many premieres and photocalls for Maleficent. She also gets along great with her costars Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, who are also bringing the looks to the red carpet. Angelina has been opening up more about what she went through in her marriage and during her separation, and it sounds like she’s on the other side of that now. (Note: I was referring to Angelina’s look in Beverly Hills and Chandra was referring to her look in Rome! I was confused about that. She looked gorgeous both place.) Wag Fight: Minutes 16:30 to 19 Coleen Rooney is married to British footballer Wayne Rooney. She noticed that details from her life posted to her private Instagram were being published by The Sun. Colleen set up a sting and busted and named fellow wag Rebekah Vardy as the leaker. Rebekah acted all indignant and said it must have been her assistant who sold the stories, not her. We find this story hilarious! Mindy Kaling: Minutes 19 to 22 Mindy Kaling told Elle that she felt targeted and marginalized by the Television Academy, which told her to provide letters and proof that she was a producer on The Office in order to be eligible for an Emmy. Instead of acknowledging her experience, the Television Academy said this was a common practice and acted like it was no big deal. This happens often to women and POC. I talk about Mindy’s recent Instagram post from inside her closet. Chandra mentions Mindy’s Architectural Digest spread, which you can see here.   User Questions: Minutes 22 to 26 Jessica left a voicemail asking us how we got into online gossip. I first made an entertainment-related site a few days after Princess Diana’s death and it got shown on MSNBC. We talk about what a global star she was. I mention the Instagram account Lady Di Revenge Looks. Chandra has always loved gossip and read People and Vanity Fair when she was in high school. She got into online gossip when Paris, Lindsay and Britney were hanging out together and flashing the paparazzi. That was around the time I started Celebitchy and I remember that era so well! I had to delete so many of those posts. Comments of the Week: Minutes 26 to 31 My comment of the week is from Krakken on the post about Elizabeth Warren being a cougar. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Mtec on the post about what Kate might do with her big initiative eventually. Thanks for listening bitches! You can contact us at 434-218-3219

Intro: Minutes 0 to 5 We had an awesome week and are really looking forward to impeachment hearings. I talk about the tandem skydive I had scheduled for the weekend. I decided to do that after covering an interview with Viola Davis who had just done a plane jump. (Update: that didn’t happen due to a weather cancelation and I have to reschedule!) We talk about Viola’s Emmy sneakers and how wedges and flip flops are comfortable. Royals: Minutes 5 to 13:45 Harry and Meghan are suing the Mail on Sunday for publishing a handwritten letter Meghan wrote to her father, Thomas Markle. Meghan set that up perfectly by sending her father the letter in August after he ditched her wedding. The text of the letter directly contradicted the claims Thomas had been making to the media for months. The letter was then referenced in a People cover article about Meghan in February. Thomas took the bait and sold the letter to the Mail right after that. It was a smart strategy by Meghan and Harry, which Thomas played right into. Harry’s letter to the media about the lawsuit put so many outlets on notice for their negative coverage. Reports vary as to whether Harry told the Queen and his father about the lawsuit and/or his letter. We talk about Meghan’s shirtdresses on this tour. I love shirtdresses but Chandra doesn’t like them because she has big boobs. We doubt trench dresses are ever going to catch on. Meghan is such a natural and is so great at her job. Angelina Jolie: Minutes 13:45 to 17:45 Angelina is doing a press tour for the first time in years. She’s been giving quotes which sound like she’s referencing problems in her marriage to Brad Pitt. Chandra thinks she’s saying that the past few years have really hurt. I remember when Jennifer Lopez made similar oblique references about her marriage to Marc. US Magazine reported supposed insider quotes that Angelina thinks Brad pressured her into getting married and that she will never marry again, but we think that was an educated guess. Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin: Minutes 17:45 to 22 Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin had a fun second wedding with friends in South Carolina, although they were officially married over a year ago. I say they got married so they could have sex, and Chandra reminds me that they dated prior to this and had already had sex, and that Justin opened up about his relationship issues which he wanted to work out before getting into another serious relationship. Justin bought two savannah breed exotic cats at a cost of $35,000! We think they look beautiful but very naughty and that he should have adopted rescue kitties instead. User Feedback: Minutes 22 to 26:30 Thanks to Cristin and Lady D for letting us know how they found us years ago. We love stories like that! That makes us reminisce about the Gosselins and how trashy they were. DogObsessedGirl texted us that she works at a doggie day care and that the dogs are soothed by the Great British Baking Show! Chandra’s sweet late dog Pogu used to love it too and British shows in particular. Her cats now enjoy tennis, which is good because Chandra watches so much of it. Comments of the Week: Minutes 26:30 to 31:30 My comments of the week are from virginfangirls and CharliePenn are on the story about the rogues gallery around President Trump and what scumbags they are. Chandra’s comments of the week are from the Vanity Fair cover story about Joaquin Phoenix. OriginalLala summed up Joker director Todd Phillips’ position on “woke culture” perfectly while OriginalRose wrote about how Joaquin is raising his dogs vegan. I didn’t realize that’s what she was referring to and thought it was about vegan hot dogs! We talk about the trend of raising dogs and cats vegan and agree that this is so bad for pets! We have some controversial thoughts on raising kids vegan.  Thanks for listening bitches! Please text or leave us a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 8 I’ve been watching the new season of The Great British Baking Show with my mom, which Chandra loves too. Chandra is watching the docuseries Country Music on PBS by Ken Burns. We talk about Johnny Cash being a huge celebrity and friends with Bob Dylan and what a great show this is. We’re both hopeful after news of an impeachment inquiry, which is putting Chandra in a good mood. I don’t think he’ll be impeached but that it might mean we’re spared four more years. Emmys: Minutes 8 to 11:30 I have trouble falling asleep after big awards ceremonies. Chandra can fall asleep without a problem except on Oscars night. Big winners at the Emmys this year were Fleabag, which Hecate watched but didn’t love, Chernobyl and Game of Thrones. I watched Chernobyl and wish some of the actors would have won instead of the writers. Chandra avoided it because of what a downer it was. Game of Thrones won because it was their last season. Peter Dinklage won despite his character’s lousy story arc. Royals: Minutes 11:30 to 23 We got to see Baby Archie who is huge and looks “scooped out of his daddy’s ass,” as Chandra puts it. Archie is adorable and looks like he’s got a lot of personality. Meghan has been wearing simple, uncontroversial outfits on this African tour. I’ve liked her looks and think she’s trying to keep the focus on her visits. Chandra wishes Meghan hadn’t repeated so many looks from her last tour, especially since she wore a $13,000 dress to a wedding in Rome. She talks about the controversy over Meghan’s hair being half covered, but still hanging out during her visit to a mosque. I thought that was deliberate so she wasn’t criticized for trying too hard. Neither of us liked her dress at that visit, which was baggy and olive-colored. We both liked her black Everlane jumpsuit and her Martin Grant maxi dress. Minute 18: Princess Beatrice got engaged to a guy named Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi . Her ring is pretty but understated. It’s a similar design to Meghan’s ring. We agree that it’s not worth the £300,000 that The Sun says it’s worth. Chandra wonders how much of a blue blood Edoardo is and calls him “trash adjacent,” which is definitely true now. Demi Moore: Minutes 23 to 28 Demi Moore said in her new book that she had threesomes with Ashton Kutcher, that they left her feeling ashamed, and that Ashton Kutcher cheated on her during their marriage. We’ve know Ashton is a cheater for years because two different mistresses came out, on the record, to gossip outlets at the time. Chandra reminded me of that time that Scott Eastwood said his girlfriend cheated on him with Ashton, when Ashton was married. Ashton’s response to Demi’s book was petty and lame but we had to logout of Twitter to see it because he blocked both of us years ago. Chandra talks about her tweet on Emmy’s night calling out Tim Allen for being a Maga, which went viral and drew the attention of the Maga loonies. By saying Ashton is an a-hole we’re not saying Demi is a saint. Brad Pitt: Minutes 28 to 31 Brad Pitt is covering US Magazine with the news that he has a new girlfriend, a 50-year-old jewelry designer and holistic healer named Sat Hari Khalsa. We think it’s cool that she’s age-appropriate for Brad, who is 55. Chandra mentioned the news that Sat Hari was allegedly a sober companion to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which may explain how she met Brad. I found the website for her jewelry line and the pieces are Indian-influenced and crazy expensive. I ask Chandra if Brad is both leaking the news that he’s with this woman and then denying it. She said she thinks that’s the case, because he did that with Neri Oxman. User Questions: Minutes 31 to 34:30 Maggie asked us in a text if we have any LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian news which didn’t make the site. They did contact us and I got a lawyer involved as I explain. My decision about that matter was based on LeAnn naming Celebitchy in a lawsuit against another blogger who had recorded a phone call with LeAnn and posted it. That lawsuit was dismissed. We haven’t heard about LeAnn in a while but assume that Eddie is cheating on her because that’s who he is. I thank LaUnica Angelina and Lila who both gave us nice feedback! Comments of the Week: Minutes 34:30 to 38 My comments of the week are from Luna and Original LaLa about Hillary Clinton’s awesome new look and the impeachment party dress code. Chandra’s comments of the week are from Jenns and Diana on the post about Jennifer Lopez’s shady 1998 interview. Thanks for listening bitches! Our number to text or leave a message is 434-218-3219.

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4 I apologize to my mom, who heard about my car accident on the podcast! Chandra cat Dexter is a needy fatass, but he’s also a sweet cat who is adapting well to his new situation.  Taylor Swift: Minutes 4 to 15 Taylor Swift is covering Rolling Stone’s October issue. She gave a bonkers interview where she was either willfully misrepresenting or misinterpreting her feuds with Kanye West and various other people she thinks did her wrong. She plays the victim so often and is still perseverating about a years-old beef she refuses to let go. Even Taylor’s snake fam isn’t defending her because she went too far. Royals: Minutes 15 to 17:30 We talk about a ridiculous story giving Duchess Kate credit for Duchess Meghan’s successful SmartWorks collection launch. This quickly became a meme. Duchess Meghan also re-upped the trademark for her lifestyle site The Tig, but has no plans to relaunch it Thomas Middleditch: Minutes 17:30 to 22:30 Thomas Middleditch of Silicon Valley told Playboy Magazine that he and his wife were swingers but it sounded more like a one-sided open marriage. He only told his wife he wanted to do this until after they were married. We discuss polyamory and swinging and decide that’s not what’s happening here. Chandra sees how swinging works but doesn’t understand how people can be polyamorous. It all bugs me. Hustlers: Minutes 22:30 to 29 (spoiler free) We both loved Hustlers although I found it a little sad because I didn’t know it would be so serious. We marvel over Jennifer Lopez’s incredible pole dance moves, which she learned in just 6 weeks. Constance Wu hardly danced and all and we both thought she was the weak leak in the ensemble. We loved Keke Palmer and Lili Reinhart though. We think Jennifer could win an Oscar for this. User Questions: Minutes 29 to 35 Jaclyn asked us what we thought about Kanye’s church and whether it’s culty. Chandra thinks it’s Kanye’s way of processing his mental illness. We agree that it’s not that much of a cult because it doesn’t have the hallmarks of one. Here’s a link to the sermon we excerpt. We think it’s more about music and Kanye being egotistical. Comments of the Week: Minutes 35 to 38 My comments of the week are from Trillian and Pineapple on the post about Kate naming the boat which should have been named Boaty McBoatFace. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Mumbles on the post about Taylor Swift covering Rolling Stone. Thanks for listening bitches! You can text us or leave a voicemail at 434-218-3219.

Intro and corrections from last week: Minutes 0 to 7 A lady hit my car with her car but she admitted fault and it seems like it’s going to work out ok. Chandra’s big orange cat has been visiting her neighbor’s gorgeous indoor cat. We have a couple of corrections from last week. Apparently Travalyst.org exists but it’s just a vague placeholder site so our criticism is still accurate. Duchess Kate did board at Marlborough college after initially living at home. Jennifer Aniston’s goddess circles: Minutes 7 to 10:45 In Jennifer Aniston’s New York Times profile they mentioned that Aniston and her friends have real goddess circles featuring a decorated talking stick they pass around while sitting on cushions cross-legged on the floor. They do this to commemorate major life experiences like deaths, weddings and divorces. Aniston has been talking about her goddess circle for years but Chandra thought that’s just how she referred to her friends and that it wasn’t literal. Jenna Dewan does this with her friends too and has group meditation led by a shaman. Royals: Minutes 10:45 to 21:30 Duchess Meghan launched her Smart Set collection, which are five versatile wardrobe pieces offered through different retailers and designers, to benefit the Smart Works organization, her patronage providing clothing and job training to women in the workforce. It was very similar to her Grenfell cookbook initiative in that it was a practical solution implemented with the organization’s needs in mind. She gave a speech at the launch explaining how she came up with the idea. Minute 17:30: Duchess Kate covers People Magazine with the title Princess Kate, the mom who will be Queen. Kate gave a speech at the installation of a children’s play garden and it’s clear she has improved in public speaking, especially over the past year. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello: Minutes 21 to 23:30 Shawn and Camila posted a video where they’re licking each other’s faces and teeth. This was in response to people who claimed they didn’t kiss right. We both found it disgusting. Chandra doesn’t like it because she can’t stand when someone licks someone else’s face. I hate hearing people chew and disliked it for that reason. Trump came for Chrissy Teigen: Minutes 23:30 to 27 Trump called Chrissy Teigen the “filthy-mouthed wife” of “boring musician John Legend.” She responded like the social media expert she is and got “pussy ass bitch” trending. It’s ridiculous that this was a story for less than a day and that Trump is targeting so many celebrities and politicians. Chrissy explained on Ellen how this affected her. We both feel sorry for her and think she handled it so well. User questions: Minutes 27 to 29:15 Our user question is from Denise about the equipment we use and how we record the podcast. The Udemy course “Podcasting for Anyone” by Steve Cherubino helped me so much! We use the software program Reaper to record locally, we both record from home and talk on the phone with headphones. We use a backup online recording service called Zencastr. (This is how we recorded the first episode, which is why there were sound quality issues.) It took us a few weeks to work out our method and there have been glitches. The microphones we use are Samson and I have a pop filter to reduce mouth noises and booms on my mic. Comments of the Week: Minutes 29:15 to 32 Chandra’s comment of the week is from Jens on the post about Todd Palin divorcing Sarah Palin. My comments of the week are from DS9 and Rapunzel on the post about Trump’s sort-of press conference. Thanks for listening bitches! You can leave us a voicemail or text 434-218-3219.

28: Jennifer Aniston misses the 90s, Duchess Meghan gets blamed for everything, Britney Spears' dad abused her son Intro and our schedule: Minutes 0 to 5:45 We’re here up until the holidays! We’ll be taking off the week before, during and after Thanksgiving so we’ll be off from November 18th to December 2nd. We’ll be back two weeks in December and will be off again from December 23rd and all of January. Chandra has to make some tough decisions regarding her mom but she’s not doing it alone. I pulled out my back this week! There’s nothing like pulling out your back to make you feel old. Royals: Minutes 5 to 20 There’s a lot more royal news this week. Organizers of events Prince Andrew had scheduled in Ireland have canceled their invitations due to his connections to Epstein. There are rumors that he has nothing on his schedule. This is fitting but still there is hardly any press about it. Prince Harry launched a new eco-travel program called Travalyst which will offer eco-conscious travel options in conjunction with Booking.com, SkyScanner, CTrip, TripAdvisor and Visa. He’s been working on it for years but they don’t have a website and a very similar domain, Travelyst.com, is already an established German site. Minute 12:30: Kate and William took their kids to school at Battersea on Charlotte’s first day. I think it’s nice that they’re going to a day school and not boarding school, but Chandra points out that they’re too young for boarding school anyway. Kate wore a floral dress by Michael Kors and debuted honey caramel highlights in her hair. We thought she looked great for this photo op, if a little dated. Minute 17: Meghan and Harry haven’t gone to Balmoral yet and there’s speculation they’re “snubbing” The Queen, but she’ll still be there for a while. There’s a horrific hit piece coming against Meghan on 60 Minutes Australia. Britney Spears: Minutes 20 to 23:30 Britney Spears’ dad Jaime abused her son Sean Preston, 13. He apparently broke down a door and shook the boy. Britney removed her sons from Jamie’s house immediately. Kevin Federline went to the police on Britney’s behalf and also obtained restraining orders for their sons against their grandfather. We wonder what impact this will have on Britney’s conservatorship. Jennifer Aniston: Minutes 23:30 to 26 Jennifer Aniston said that the 90s were simpler due to less technology and people not being attached to their phones. We could definitely relate and don’t think she was presenting it as anything other than her own experience. Brad Pitt: Minutes 26 to 31:30 Brad Pitt did an interview with the New York Times in which he revealed that he’s been going to AA. He didn’t state this directly, but it was written in the article. I wonder if this breaks the 11th tradition. Chandra mentions that the year and a half timeline on Pitt’s AA attendance was probably court ordered. Angelina Jolie: Minutes 31:30 to 32:30 Angelina will be promoting Maleficent at the same time as Brad is promoting Ad Astra. She sent Maddox to college and that must have been an emotional moment for her. Scarlett Johansson Minutes 32:30 to 34:30 Scarlett is covering THR, where she talks about how she believes Woody Allen and would work with him anytime. She’s been a problematic person for a long time and people tend to forget that. User Questions 34:30 to 37:45 Our user question is from Snewstie about adding likes or thumbs up/thumbs down buttons to comments. Comments of the Week 37:45 to 41 My comments of the week are from Louise, Jerusha and whatWHAT? on who will attend the Trump fundraiser. Chandra’s comment of the week is from Jay about potential marketing for The Joker. Thanks for listening bitches! Call or text us at 434-218-3219

Intro: Minutes 0 to 4:30 I’m watching my friend’s border collie, Mango, for a couple of weeks and Chandra is caring for her mom’s big boi kitty, Dexter. Dexter is getting along ok well with Chandra’s panther kitten. He’s a talkative cat and a sweetheart. Due to next Monday falling on Labor Day, we’re taking it off and will be back on September 9th! Royals: Minutes 4:30 to 13 We heard that the Sussexes took vacations to Ibiza and Nice in the past few weeks. While we would question how many vacations they’re taking, the tabloid criticism has been racist and over the top. Elton John issued a statement that he lent the Sussexes his private jet, which uses carbon offsets, and the use of his estate in France. Jameela Jamil and Jessica Mulroney defended Meghan against the racist coverage of her. I found the original quote that Jameela referenced and it’s worse than it sounds. Meanwhile Prince William and Duchess Kate made sure to be photographed leaving a budget flight to Scotland, just as the press was attacking Meghan and Harry for taking a private flight. It looks like The Cambridges are planting these stories to control the press cycle, similar to how they announced their Pakistan tour on a Saturday when the Sussexes were in Toronto at a baseball game. Lori Loughlin is such a victim: Minutes 13 to 16:30 Lori Loughlin and her daughters Olivia and Isabella are covering People Magazine dressed all in white of course. Lori is facing serious jail time after rejecting a plea deal, after which more charges were brought against her and her husband for their part in Operation Varsity Blues. Lori remains deep in denial and claims she’s been living in her own prison – in her mansion, where she can come and go as she pleases. Chandra thinks Lori is a clueless rich bitch like Lucille Bluth in Arrested Development, except not as interesting. Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham’s bad taste: Minutes 16:30 to 22 Taylor Swift did a fashion collaboration with Stella McCartney. We have a longstanding and well deserved dislike of Stella’s fug designs. It ended up being concert merchandise that’s very 80s mall. Lena Dunham shared photos of her terrible 80s interior design. It’s full of tchotkes and is pastel and ugly. Her personal style is very similar to her writing. Gwyneth Paltrow’s book curator: Minutes 22 to 26:30 Gwyneth Paltrow hired a book curator to outfit her house with books The guy’s name is Thatcher Wine, which doesn’t sound like a real name. This is offensive to Chandra on so many levels as she’s a book lover and thinks that books should have meaning and be well used. I mention Marie Kondo culling people’s books and Chandra says she’d pay someone to help her reduce her book collection. User Feedback: Minutes 26:30 to 27:30 Our user feedback was from Renata in Poland who appreciates our political coverage and likes hearing how American women feel about the administration. Comments of The Week: Minutes 27:30 to 31:40 My comment of the week was from FridaK on the post where Cindy Adams was racist. Chandra’s comments of the week were from JB and Lena on the post with Taylor Swift’s new fashion. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Minutes 0 to 2:45 Chandra’s mom is doing better. This week was better for gossip too. I’ve been going to physical therapy, which is a lot like yoga except I can’t quite motivate myself to go to a class. Jeffrey Epstein died in custody: Minutes 2:45 to 9 Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who abused so many girls and was so well connected, died in jail, supposedly by suicide. He has some very powerful friends including Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew. Everyone is now watching Andrew to see how he’s handling it because one of Epstein’s victims stated in a lawsuit that she was sexually trafficked to Andrew when she was underage. Queen Elizabeth went to church with Andrew on Sunday, and he was grinning like an a-hole. Andrew then jetted out of the country with Sarah Ferguson for a vacation in Spain. Meanwhile the British gossip press is barely calling out Andrew and is focusing on whatever Meghan did, like “breaking protocol” by not following seating charts during private dinners or going on vacation to Ibiza. Chandra makes the point that the palace is protecting Andrew but not Meghan. Little Women trailer: Minutes 9 to 12:45 In episode 21 we discussed the first photos from Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women with Saoirse Ronan as Jo and Timothee Chalamet as Laurie. The trailer came out and Chandra doesn’t like it, but chose her words carefully in her writeup about that. She thinks they’re making Amy out to be a much nicer person than she is in the book. Chandra likes the leads and thinks they have chemistry together. She doesn’t like the 1994 version of the movie with Winona Ryder but recommends the 1949 version with Elizabeth Taylor. Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn vacationed with their young girlfriends: Minutes 12:45 to 15 Leonardo DiCaprio, 44, and his girlfriend Camila Morrone, 22, were photographed on a yacht in Sardinia with Sean Penn 58, and his 27 year-old girlfriend, Leila George, who happens to be Vincent D’Onofrio’s daughter. Both of the men look very paunchy and in the photos they’re ignoring their girlfriends, who are trying to get their attention.   Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split: Minutes 15 to 18:15 Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth announced their split on Saturday. They’ve only been married since December, but they met on the set of The Last Kiss in 2009 and were on/off for years. It took five minutes for it to get messy. Miley posted photos looking like she was on vacation alone, but after the news of her split came out we saw paparazzi photos of her making out in Italy with Kaitlynn Carter, who was fake married to Brody Jenner, and who split with him around the same time. Then sources claimed Miley was unfaithful to Liam and other sources claimed Liam was moody and partying too much. It’s getting dumb and complicated and isn’t as fun as it should be. User Questions and Feedback: Minutes 18:15 to 20:30 Thanks Aggerific for your kind comments on Instagram! Bluesky asked how much we work ahead. Chandra does write prewrite a lot of stories, particularly magazine interviews and filler stories. Comments of The Week: Minutes 20:30 to 24 My first comment of the week was from Mia4s on the post about Gwyneth Paltrow. I picked another one from Some Chick on the post about Prince Andrew leaving Balmoral. Chandra’s comment of the week was from Sean on the post about Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn’s young girlfriends.   Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Last week was awesome: Minutes 0 to 5:30 Last week’s episode, #24, was our favorite so far! Check it out if you haven’t yet. Chandra’s mom is doing better and is in physical therapy. Chandra got a haircut that’s too short and which reminds her of Christine Baranski’s hair. We discuss our relationships with hairdressers and how you have to tread lightly if you have long term stylists. Both of us dye our hair at home now. You can listen below! White supremacists and the Dayton and El Paso shootings: Minutes 5:30 to 15 We talk about the terrorist attacks in Dayton and El Paso, and how upsetting it is. Chandra and I don’t watch the news anymore and get most of our news online. I am thinking about moving to Canada if Trump wins reelection. Chandra says that the cruelty is the point. Rosanna Arquette tweeted about how she’s sorry she was born white and privileged. Chandra is biracial and says she’d probably be a Becky if she was white. I mention that I have been a Becky and that it took me a while to recognize that. We talk about listening to communities of color. Beto O’Rourke and other politicians are finally calling Trump out for inciting terrorism while the media is not doing their job. Prince Harry got criticized for getting a pedicure: Minutes 15 to 18 The Sun ran a hit piece on Prince Harry for getting massages and pedicures as a roundabout way to call him henpecked. We talk about pedicures and how both of us hate getting our feet touched. We miss Meghan and there wasn’t a lot of royal news this week. Taylor Swift covers the September issue of Vogue: Minutes 18 to 22:30 Taylor Swift is covering the September issue of Vogue in an 80s jacket with 70s Farrah Fawcett hair. Her interview is a mixed bag as we’ve come to expect from Taylor. The answers were extremely well planned and much of the interview was good and interesting. However Taylor is still playing the victim and not taking responsibility for her part in feuds with Kim and Kanye and Katy Perry. We conclude that Taylor is not canceled but that she’s still a self-obsessed snake. Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, filled her foyer with rose petals: Minutes 22:30 to 25 We talk about what a waste is was for Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, to fill the foyer of her home with rose petals. I wonder if he did something that he’s trying to make up for. Travis has been rumored to be cheating on Kylie, but we don’t know much about that because Kylie doesn’t air their business, like Khloe does. I tried the pumpkin pit Kat Kats: Minutes 25 to 30 The pumpkin pit Kit Kats were so much worse than I expected! It tasted like a Yankee Candle and just one Kit Kit mini coated my tongue and made me gag for about a half an hour. I got my spin instructor to try one and she only ate half of it and gagged. I admit that I like candy corn. I told another spin instructor that I run Celebitchy and she said she reads us! Chandra once saw someone reading us on her phone. We are usually very vague about what we do for a living. User Question: Which one of us is good at blind items?: Minutes 30 to 32 We got asked by Paula on Twitter which one of us was good at blind items. Both of us are bad at guessing blind items and we don’t trust blind item sites. We do trust Lainey and other insider-type sites which don’t run blind items all the times. Comments of The Week: Minutes 32 to 34:30 My comment of the week is by LilHarriet on the Instagram post about James Middleton finding it easier to talk to his dogs. Chandra’s comment of the week is by BayTampaBay on the story about the Turnip Toff’s code of omerta. We’re on iHeartRadio now if you’d like to check us out there! Note that there are minor issues with thudding noises with my mic this episode. I’m very sorry about that. I tried to take them out where possible, and have ordered a special filter for my microphone so hopefully this won’t happen again. Music credit: Meydan, AA Alto and via Premium Beat

Intro: Chandra’s mom: Minutes 0 to :30 Chandra’s mom is doing better and is being moved into a facility where she can receive physical therapy. Chandra took care of some tricky insurance issues and her mom should be fully covered. Candace Bushnell and our aging parents: Minutes :30 to 8 Candace Bushnell decided to move to the Hamptons with her friends, which makes Chandra think about her mom’s preparations for retirement. We talk about caring for our aging parents. My parents moved away a year ago and I miss them so much. Chandra cared for her father in his later years and doesn’t want to be in a similar situation with her mom. We conclude it’s a PITA either way. Candace also talked about turning 50 and how it feels like you’re erased. We compare this to Gwyneth Paltrow’s perspective that she’s no longer the hot young thing. Duchess Meghan guest edited British Vogue and has another charity project: Minutes 8 to 19 We wonder why British Vogue released so many exclusive stories around Duchess Meghan’s guest edit of the September issue within a 24 hour news period. We both found Meghan’s writing tedious and too self-referential. This is our job so we have a different perspective on it and more experience of course. (For the record I did use the word “nestled” in a story once in 2011, however I was mirroring another description and didn’t come up with the word on my own.) Meghan did a capsule collection to benefit her patronage Smart Works, which provides interview training and wardrobes for women returning to the workforce. This was a clever and practical way to benefit this charity. Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes did a PDA-filled Miami pool photoshoot: Minutes 19 to 22 Camila Cabello, 22, and Shawn Mendes, 20, have been linked since they did the Senorita video in late June. We heard around the time it dropped that Camila had split with her boyfriend of about a year. In mid July there was a weird video of Camila and Shawn making out at a diner and they just did an old school Miami pool photoshoot where they’re kissing and hugging on each other. So many outlets had those photos, they’re not exclusives at all meaning that plenty of photographers were there and they’re so much fun. It really looks like a PR rollout but it’s fun. Frankenfood treats: Minutes 22 to 25:30 We discuss two new frankenfood treats, pumpkin pie Kit Kat and French’s mustard ice cream. Our old white chocolate feud gets reignited and Chandra is disgusted that I’ll try the pumpkin pie Kit Kats. I love mustard and defend good mustards. We can’t try the mustard ice cream as it’s only available in limited locations. User Questions: Minutes 25:30 to 28 Our user question is from CT on Twitter who asked us about our favorite celebrity feud. Chandra says there are a lot of depressing divorce feuds and her favorite fun feud is Taylor Swift vs. Kim Kardashian. She also like Nicki Minaj vs. Miley Cyrus and fondly remembers the Kristen Stewart scandal. Comments of The Week: Minutes 28 to 30 My comment of the week is from Sleanne on a post about Eva Longoria’s sister, who has an intellectual disability. Sleanne works in a residential home and wrote about her experiences there. Chandra’s COTW is Zapp Brannigan on the Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes post. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro: Chandra’s mom is doing better: Minutes 0 to 1:30 Chandra’s mom is doing better although she is still in the hospital. She’s been getting physical therapy for her injuries and is focused on recovering. The rise of fascism: Minutes 1:30 to 4:30 Boris Johnson, a terrible racist with a superficial resemblance to Trump, has been appointed Prime Minister of England after Teresa May stepped down following the Brexit debacle. We talk about that and our disappointment with Robert Mueller’s testimony. The Affleck brothers and Matt Damon have films with questionable plots: Minutes 4:30 to 11:45 Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are reuniting on screen and co-writing a screenplay based on a 14th century revenge story of two best friends. One of them goes to war, comes back and accuses the other of raping their wife. No one believes the wife’s claim she was raped so their sentence is to fight to the death. If the husband loses his wife gets burned at the stake. Given Ben’s history of sexual harassment, and Matt’s history of discounting women’s MeToo stories, the plot sounds problematic at best. Casey Affleck is making his big return following two sexual harassment lawsuits. He’s directing and starring in a post apocalyptic film in which all women have been wiped out by a disease. We find the whole premise weak. Scarlett Johansson’s ugly engagement ring: Minutes 11:45 to 15:45 Scarlett Johansson, who is 34 and has been married and divorce twice, is engaged for the third time to Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live. She wore her engagement ring to Comic-Con and it is different to say the least. It’s a brown 11 carat diamond and it’s like a warped oval or like round teardrop shape on a curved black band. We think her engagement ring is ugly and talk about our favorite rings.  One in four women under 25 have stopped shaving their armpits: Minutes 15:45 to 20 According to research by Mintel and reported by Vogue at least one in four women under age 25 has stopped shaving their armpits. We’ve seen this trend on the red carpet a bit lately, although I’m sure Julia Roberts thinks she invented it. We give TMI about our shaving preferences and habits. Puff Diddy is dating Steve Harvey’s 22 year-old daughter: Minutes 20 to 22 Diddy, 49, is dating 22 year-old Lori Harvey, who used to date his son! We know because they were papped out together. User Feedback: Minutes 22 to 24 Thank you to Kimberly, Paula, Professor Murray and Diane for your awesome feedback! You can contact us at 434-218-3219 and please tweet us if you’re on Twitter, particularly if you’d like us to talk about a certain story. Comments of the Week: Minutes 24 to 26 My comment of the week is from Crowhood on the post about Casey Affleck’s new movie. I have a bonus comment of the week from Mia4s on a Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio post. Chandra’s comment of the week is from LadyMTL on her post about Naomi Campbell grocery shopping. Thanks for listening bitches!

Intro we’re back bitches: Minutes 0 to 3:30 We took three weeks off somewhat unexpectedly and are sorry for that! The first week was due to technical difficulties and the second week was Fourth of July. Last week Chandra wanted to record and was ready for that, but I told her we shouldn’t. Her mom’s been in the hospital and she’s been spending time with her. You can listen below! Emmy nominations: Minutes 3:30 to 13:30 Game of Thrones got the most nominations, with several of the actors submitting themselves for Emmy Awards. We hope that the next watercooler show has less rape, and we’re looking forward to seeing the GoT reunion at the Emmys. Chandra thinks GoT will win best drama and Veep will win best comedy. She wishes that Billions was nominated. I love Russian Doll and I mention that Hecate watches more of the nominated shows than I do because my media diet is largely junk food. Royals: Minutes 13:30 to 19 The Royals went to Wimbledon, with Kate and Meghan attending the women’s final together, just like last year. They look like they got along great. The women are putting in appearances and making peace while William and Harry are the ones who are actually feuding. Meghan and Harry went to London premiere of The Lion King together. Meghan met Beyonce and Jay-Z and they all looked so happy to meet each other! They also met Pharrell Williams, with Pharrell telling Meghan her marriage is significant and Meghan simply saying “they don’t make it easy.” You can see the clip of that here. Racist-in-Chief: Minutes 19 to 24:30 Trump has been attacking four Congresswomen of color. He’s been telling them to go home to their own countries, which is so racist and sadly too familiar. This is part of a larger strategy by the Trump administration to justify Trump’s ongoing racism and it’s despicable. Chandra describes the racism she’s experienced, which is just as blatant and awful. Kellyanne Conway asked a journalist what ethnicity he was after he questioned Trump’s tweets. People have been chanting “send her back” at Trump’s Nazi rallies. Ilhan Omar had a wonderful tweet in response to that. Miley Cyrus: Minutes 24:30 to 30 Miley Cyrus is covering Elle Magazine this month and her interview is ridiculous. She thinks she so unique because she’s bisexual and married, but she’s as plain as unseasoned chicken. Miley also said she isn’t going to have children because she cares about the environment. Chandra is sure that if Miley does have kids, she’ll be the first bisexual environmentalist to ever do so. User Questions, 90s gossip we miss: Minutes 30 to 35:30 We got the nicest email from Norma in Japan asking us about our favorite 90s gossip. We love gossip from the 90s! Chandra remembered so many details I’d forgotten, including how quickly Matt Damon moved on after dumping Minnie Driver on Oprah. She also knew a story about Johnny Depp and Kate Moss which I’d never heard before. We reminisce about what an it girl Gwyneth Paltrow was in the 90s, and talk about the rise of Angelina Jolie! Comments of the Week: 35:30 to 40 I have two comments of the week! One is from elimaeby on Kanye’s outfit at the Met Gala (I was wrong, I thought he was in a khaki outfit but it was black, meh) and the other is from The Twinkle Function on Simon Cowell’s weight loss. Chandra’s COTW is from Tiffany on Damien Chazelle’s new project.

Intro we have new ads: Minutes 0 to 4 You may notice that we have new ads which are bigger and take a little longer to load. I looked for months to find a good company to work with and have made sure that there are no ads with automatic sound. We’re also waiting for the next scandal or breakup this summer and find Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper’s split boring. Royals: Minutes 4 to 13:30 We had two big events this week, The Order of The Garter and Royal Ascot. We talk about Kate’s faux pas when she missed seeing Queen Letizia. We also talked about Kate’s twee style. The Royal Foundation is splitting in two different organizations for the Sussexes and The Cambridges. Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice were criticized for their fashion, with people comparing Eugenie’s dress with the boob darting to Anne Hathaway’s Prada Oscar gown. Beatrice’s dress looked like something Kate would wear. Taylor Swift: Minutes 13:30 to 20 Taylor Swift released the video for You Need to Calm Down, which threw so many gay celebrities together in one video. There was the appropriation argument and also the parallels between Taylor’s video and Beyonce’s 2011 Party video. Taylor and Katy Perry buried the hatchet but did anyone really care? Also, was Taylor sending a message to people with her hair in the video? If she is bi, do people care? Big Little Lies: Minutes 20 to 24 Spoilers up to season two episode two. Chandra wasn’t too impressed with the first episode of the second season of Big Little Lies but she thought the second episode was bonkers and full of plot twists. I agree to start watching it so we can talk about it. Downton Abbey Movie: Minutes 24 to 28 Spoilers to the end of Downton Abbey series. This week we got to see new character posters for Downton Abbey. Chandra loves these costume and historical dramas but I’m mediocre on them. I’m still looking forward to the movie. The part of the series that bored me enough to stop watching is the part that Chandra loves! Little Women first look: Minutes 28 to 30 We got our first look at Greta Gerwig’s version of Little Women, which Chandra is excited about. She hated the 90s Winona Ryder version and I really don’t care about it. User Feedback: Minutes 30 to 32:30 Thanks to Launica Angelina, Heather, Mooya, Orange Owl, BlueSky and Victoria for your nice feedback! Comments of The Week: 32:30 to 37 My COTW was by Perplexed on Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice’s fashion. Chandra’s COTW was by Jen on the confusion over Cersei’s pregnancy on GoT. You can leave a voicemail or text us at 434-218-3219. Please subscribe where you listen, rate and review as it helps us grow. Music credit: Meydan, A.A. Alto and via Premium Beat. I’m allergic to red meat and this is a quicker episode: Minutes 0 to 2 This is a shorter podcast than usual because it’s our second attempt at recording this week. The first time we talked it didn’t record. So we’re goofier than usual because we know we’re making the same jokes! I mention that I’m allergic to meat (red meat specifically, it’s called Alpha-gal allergy) after that tick bite last week.  Royals: Minutes 2 to 8:30 Duchess Meghan made her first post-baby event appearance at Trooping The Color last weekend. We were surprised that people were focusing on her weight because she just had a baby! Meghan and Harry were shoved to the back of the balcony behind other royals, which seemed odd to us. Kate and Meghan are getting along great, and as we’ve seen it’s the brothers, Harry and William, who are feuding. We haven’t seen Harry and William together in a long time and it looks like they’re avoiding each other. Duchess Kate is covering US Magazine with the title “Grace Under Pressure” about how she handled the rumors of her husband cheating. She didn’t say anything about it, which was smart. Kate and William visited a sheep farm together looking matchy and Kate later went to an addiction gala in a fit and flare white dress. Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper broke up: Minutes 8:30 to 14 Chandra mentions that they promoted the breakup like it was a movie. We kept hearing that they were having problems and when the news of the breakup came it wasn’t a surprise. We wonder about Bradley’s relationships because he never seems to be in love. There are rumors that Lady Gaga is the reason why they broke up but that makes no sense to us. They’re not promoting anything and we don’t buy them as a couple. Nicole Kidman takes her cats hiking: Minutes 14 to 15:45 Nicole Kidman has two long-haired fluffy cats, Snow and Ginger, whom she takes hiking with her in a little backpack made for small pets. She talks to them like they’re babies and has posted video of it to Instagram. US Women’s Soccer team criticized for celebrating their wins: Minutes 15:45 to 19 The US Women’s Soccer Team celebrated after every goal when they beat the Thai team in The World Cup, and they were criticized for that. We find that sexist, especially because the US Women’s Soccer Team is fighting for recognition and suing US Soccer for gender discrimination. User Feedback: Minutes 19 to 20 Thanks to Marshmallow on Twitter, LaUnica Angelina and Lila for your nice feedback! We missed you too. Comments of the Week: Minutes 20 to 25 My comment of the week is from Giddy on the post about Trump tweeting he’d met with the Prince of “Whales.” Chandra’s comment of the week is from Other Renee on the post about Kendall Jenner never trying a Hershey’s kiss. She hates dark chocolate and I hate white chocolate and think it’s garbage. We also complain about people bragging about only eating dark chocolate. Thanks for listening bitches!

We took two weeks off: Minutes 0 to 3:45 We took two weeks off, for Memorial Day and because I was visiting my parents in Florida. I mention that I just found a tick on my back and am on antibiotics. Chandra has been watching tennis and we think sports have a lot in common with celebrity gossip. You can listen below! Trump and his treasonous kids visit the UK: Minutes 3:45 to 9 Trump was met with huge protests, which he lied about as usual. Some of the royals, particularly Harry, William and Kate, pointedly avoided being photographed with the Trumps, which was smart. Chandra didn’t want to cover Ivanka’s fashions but she did it reluctantly. I think Tiffany is pregnant and mention seeing photos of her on a boat. Rose Hanbury came to the state banquet: Minutes 9 to 14 Kate’s rural rival, Rose Hanbury, came to the state dinner looking remarkably similar to Kate. Chandra thinks she’s a better dresser than Kate and I say it doesn’t take much. Rose walked into the banquet with a gossip columnist, Sarah Vine from the Daily Mail. Chandra found out that Rose and Sarah walked in together before the procession, meaning that it seemed very deliberate and not assigned. Camilla was drinking and Trump called Meghan nasty: Minutes 14 to 17 Camilla loves her wine and was seen with a glass during her meeting with the Trumps at the American Embassy. We find that relatable. Trump called Meghan nasty twice, once to The Sun, then he denied it and gave an interview to Piers Morgan repeating that. He only has one adjective for smart women who make valid arguments against him. Jennifer Lawrence looks different: Minutes 17 to 23 Jennifer Lawrence has been doing promotion for X-Men: Dark Phoenix. She looks much different. There’s speculation that she had work done, but it’s hard to tell what it was. (Here’s a link to a Jimmy Kimmel interview I mentioned.) Some people say it’s veneers, Botox and/or a nose job or chin implant. Her face looks sharper now. It could be injectables. (I mention this story from Bethenny Frankel but I thought her nose was different, it’s her jaw.) We agree that she didn’t need anything done. Famous people rarely own up to plastic surgery, except for Real Housewives and Cardi B. Meryl Streep doesn’t believe in toxic masculinity: Minutes 23 to 27:30 Meryl Streep made some clueless “not all men” statements when asked about toxic masculinity while promoting season two of Big Little Lies, a show where she plays the mother of an abuser. Chandra says she needs a publicist to tell her what to say and I say she’s just up her own ass and wouldn’t listen to one anyway. Serena Williams get blamed for a conference room change: Minutes 27:30 to 31 Serena Williams was told to move to a bigger press conference room by French Open organizers, pushing out Dominic Thiem. It wasn’t her fault but she was blamed for it. We talk about people policing Serena’s behavior, calling her a diva and then denying that’s racist. Chandra mentions how Wimbledon is coming up and is worried that the British press will try to use Meghan and Serena’s friendship to portray them both negatively. She also remembers how cute Meghan’s reaction was when Serena lost at Wimbledon last year. User Questions: 31 to 35 We talk about our new writer, Quimby, and why we hired her. I want to thank everyone who sent in applications. I could not respond to them all and feel bad about that. We answer Gabby’s question about celebrity names we still can’t spell. Comments of the Week: Minutes 35 to 39 My comments of the week are a little older as I looked during our time off, they’re from cannibel on the Demi Moore magic mirror post and from Sayrah on the story about Trump’s staff covering up the name of the USS McCain. Chandra’s is from Pose83 on the Camilla MVP post. We’re on all major platforms! You can leave a comment or email us at info-at-celebitchy.com. You can also leave a text or voicemail at 434-218-3219. Thanks for listening!

Constance Wu: Minutes 5:30 to 16 We cover Constance Wu’s arguably ungrateful reaction on social media to Fresh Off The Boat’s renewal and how her non-apology made it worse. Gemma Chan liked a tweet stating that coworkers know this about Wu, but then claimed it was an accidental like. We heard that Wu was a diva on the set of Hustlers, and while that story originated in Page Six, we think it has a grain of truth. I also found an interview Wu did with Colbert where she said she had to convince Crazy Rich Asians director Jon M. Chu to hold off production to accommodate her schedule on FOTB. Plus we talk about Always Be My Maybe, the new Netflix romcom starring Constance’s co-star on FOTB, Randall Park, with a special guest that gets me excited.  Royals and The Royal Baby: Minutes 16 to 22:45 For Mother’s Day Meghan posted a photo of baby Archie’s feet to Instagram! We wondered on podcast #13 whether they would do this, but in this case we didn’t mind because we’d already seen the baby. We talk about the name Archie and how he may have been named after Harry’s friend or Meghan’s childhood cat! I mention that my brother once named a dog after me. (He sometimes listens to the podcast so I hope he hears this.) We talk about the royal reporters being salty about Meghan inviting CBS and Gayle King to cover the baby presentation. Game of Thrones needs different writers: Minutes 22:45 to 31:30 We don’t have any spoilers for the finale because we record these Thursdays. There are spoilers up to the penultimate episode, The Bells, 8.5. We talk about the writers giving more motivation to the men and creating poorly-drawn women, particularly Daenerys. We also discuss the maudlin send off for Cersei and Jaime and who we want to survive the finale. User Questions: We’re looking for a new writer Minutes 31:30 to 36 Thanks to Diplomanatee and Becks1 for your feedback last week! We talk about Chandra’s laugh and why it’s so infectious. Also we discuss Busy Philipps’ show getting canceled by E! and how that’s a crock. We are looking for a new writer! We give our specifications for that position around minute 34:30. You can email me about it at info-at-celebitchy.com. Comments of The Week: Minutes 36 to 39 My comment of the week is from Lady D on the GoT needs new writers story. Kaiser/Chandra’s comment of the week is from Alissa on the story about Lori Loughlin’s level of fame. The stories, photos and memes we talk about are at Celebitchy.com/podcast under episode #18 and are available at: https://www.celebitchy.com/?p=621809
