This summer, with an expected increase in vacation travel, it will be especially impactful. To increase the likelihood that fueling customers will make the trek inside from the fuel islands, you need to be hitting on all cylinders when it comes to the fundamentals. Each year the NATSO Foundation’s Bill and Carolyn Moon Scholarship Program distributes thousands of dollars to students to pursue their educational goals. Credit cards are now being issued with a small chip (called the EMV chip), and business owners across the country have had to update their point-of-sale systems to accommodate chip cards. The first point-of-sale requirements took effect in 2015, but another deadline is on the horizon.
