“Does your brand design SUCK?” “Why it matters now, and why “later” just won’t do.” Listen in to Warrior Women in Business Episode #34, on location in the new WWIB location, SOFLA, with featured guest and Warrior Women in Business exclusive design coach and JSM Design partner, Nia Dara and Jasmine Sandler Social Brand Strategy Expert and WWIB CEO. Stay until the end for branding and design deals at https://www.jasminesandlerdigitalmarketingmedia.com/ This is for anyone looking to improve their brand presence. This applies to any executive, entrepreneur or artist who is struggling to have their brand seen, heard and engaged. Nia Dara, featured guest and WWIB host, CEO, and Brand Strategy expert, Jasmine Sandler, shares the keys of getting your brand unstuck, defining and designing a brand that engages, and how to best use your brand to drive business and career growth. Building a business and brand in today’s market is more than just about a good idea. You’ve got to be able to attract customers and partners right out of the gate. Good design is a front-loaded undertaking with long-term value and benefits. However, during early stages of business growth quality design is subjected to the sidelines of business management demands. Many business owners will all to often sacrifice good design altogether because of financial limitations or otherwise, saving brand design for a “future” notion of profits and growth without any planning or structure to attain the goal of brand growth and scale. The true cost of sidelining design is more than the cost of hiring a designer in the present, it also means sidelining relationships, brand trust, brand recognition, and ultimately… sales for both the present and future. A good and polished brand design can communicate its value, can achieve a competitive edge, and establish trust for both consumers, business partnerships, opportunities, and more. In this digital age, it’s more important than ever to be perceived as a reputable brand with a lasting presence, and with the ability to attract consumers and secure profitability Learn how to get unstuck with your brand and start seeing a brand that aligns with your purpose and drives business. In this time of unprecedented change in America, women have more opportunities than ever to claim real equality. And further a real chance to speak out against abuse and unfair practices against women in politics, business and in the home. Our Episode #30 guest and former California Congresswoman, Katie Hill is no stranger to conflict and driving resolution in these areas. This Warrior Women in Business episode was led by host and WWIB CEO Jasmine Sandler on September 30th at 3pm EST / 12 PM PST Listen in to this critical discussion with Katie, the now author of She Will Rise: Becoming a Warrior in the Battle for True Equality and the founder of Her Time, a political action committee supporting women in politics who are shaping their communities, and the country, for the better. They discussed BIG issues like equality, violence, LGBTQ matters and so much more. To win a copy of her book complete the short form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScfBmjl-AyYppoRXlWt0MH6tesZ8-tJL_oNb6J2QxBJK0J-gA/viewform About Katie Hill Katie Hill wasn't yet 30 when she embarked on her run for Congress. By 31, she had become not only a Member of Congress but a member of Congressional Leadership and was widely considered one of the Democratic Party's brightest rising stars. She managed to flip a Congressional district under decades of Republican control, was the first woman to hold the seat, the first openly LGBTQ woman to be elected to Congress from California, and one of the youngest women ever to serve in the House of Representatives. She resigned from her position less than a year after entering Congress, following political sabotage by her abusive ex-husband in a scandal that began a national conversation around questions of bisexuality, domestic abuse, cyber exploitation, workplace power dynamics, and what happens when regular people who live regular lives run for office. In a time of uncertainty and stress it has been found that the suicide rate is soaring all over the world. This week for episode 23 we bought in a panel of experts on suicide and discussed why the rates are increasing and whether the economy is to blame. Joining us was Jasmine Sandler, Producer & Host of WWIB, who interviewed experts, Jen Hewson, Deborah Max and Janice Chisholm on the topic. Our first guest, Jen Hewson, is the founder of Canadian Women Healing Our World. Her mission is to provide opportunities for personal growth and healing, to women that are living with emotional pain from having experienced trauma. Jen also spends her time in her home community of London, Ontario, Canada, working with disenfranchised women to transform their lives, by providing access to her programs and services at no cost. These same women are offered the opportunity to take the stage at her live speaking event, to share their powerful and incredible stories of transformation. Rachel spends a great deal of time speaking publicly, loudly and passionately in an effort to drive the conversation around the business of female health in all of its complexity. Since the launch of Viagra® over 20 years ago, society has been inundated with the words around male sexual health for decades—bigger, longer, stronger. In contrast, women do not think of sex or intimacy as a performance sport. For these businesses to grow, companies, brands, and leaders need to be able to talk about their bodies in a language that is meaningful to women. Rachel’s career-long findings, learnings, and recommendations are at the heart of her book: Orgasmic Leadership: Profiting from the Coming Surge in Women’s Health and Wellness, #1 International Best-Seller on Amazon. Orgasmic Leadership provides unique perspectives on leadership and business building and the money that can be made by capitalizing on market opportunities. It highlights the factors that drive, inspire, and sustain entrepreneurs in the rapidly growing global women’s sexual health and wellness space. And importantly, the book reflects a wellspring of deep personal experience in pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and women’s health, as well as in-depth interviews with leaders in the sexual wellness field. Rachel tackles women’s long-neglected needs and satisfaction with a strategic business focus, humor, insight, passion. Rachel was honored as one of JWI’s “10 Women to Watch” in 2016. She serves on the Duke New York Women’s Executive Board, the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and the board of Formula XO, a specialty beauty company. Rachel earned an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1992 after graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University with a B.A. in Psychology and Human Development.
