What can we expect to happen in a society where one group of people will do anything to get the pandemic to be over while another group is sure that there is someone out there that will save us all from a one world government? Why are people so immune to facts and logic? What can we do to bring some level of sanity back to the world we live in? Mass Formation, according to Dr. Mattias Desmet (and many other leading clinical psychological experts) is taking place before our very eyes. We've been discussing that phenomena in our last two times here at the table.

If this is you I hope some people's answers here brings you peace.

At this exact moment, your good friend texts you and says, "C'mon, you know you got this! You were made to crush challenges like this!" How does this find you? Does it push you over the top and get you to finish line? Does it make you want to punch them in the face? Does it make you feel like a failure if you don't make it? Does it not move the needle either way? How do you respond to this friend's text?

When you are hurt the only way to heal is through comfort. Almost all of the options listed in our "poll" the other day are ways you can deal with hurts. However, they don't help you heal from the hurts. The only thing that does that is comfort. Having someone join you in your pain so that you will remember them loving you when you remember the painful hurt. Comfort has been attached to grief. How comfortable are you with the idea of that? Do you like it when someone enters your world and joins you in what you're going through? Some don't. There's something tricky about that emotionally and we will go over that this evening.
