In today's episode, we cover the topic of depression during the holidays. Although Christmas and Thanksgiving are supposed to be "holly jolly", that is not the case for everyone. Rather we are dealing with childhood trauma, unresolved grief, or other causes, seasonal depression can be a tough time.  Today we not only discuss ways to help get us through these tough times, but also give insight to those who do not experience this means to help others get through. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/everydaykindoflife/message

In today's episode, I speak about my experiences working in toxic workplace environments throughout my life. There is a major shift that has been happening since the start of COVID. What we are seeing right now isn't people being lazy, but employers not caring enough. People are not afraid to work, but they are afraid of re-entering a toxic workplace environment. Let's take a look at what makes a workplace environment become toxic, how co-workers or managers become toxic without even knowing it, and how we can separate ourselves from this situation.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/everydaykindoflife/message

If you listened to my previous episode, I was pretty unmotivated to do anything. I had a negative outlook on my creativity and I just didn't feel right. This morning however, I am super pumped and motivated beyond belief. It's crazy how a morning dog walk, my camera, and some fog completely changed my outlook on so many things! Today I wanted to talk about my dealings with anxiety and living in a COVID19 world. This is my way of trying to connect and just get out some feelings I have been dealing with. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and doing things I enjoy. It's been tough the past year and a half, but I keep on fighting.  Amidst some of the bad things that have been going on, I have seen some great accomplishments. I finally landed the dream job I have spent years working to get and after four and a half years, Megan and I finally got engaged! Life may not always be easy and it may not always be fun, but we have so much to strive for and look forward to. Keep fighting the good fight! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/everydaykindoflife/message

Sitting on my lunch break I couldn’t help but think “People don’t care”. I’m not talking about only what’s happening around the world right now, but also in general. People don’t seem to care as much about what they say as they do about themselves. Why are we like that? Is what’s happening around the world today a wake up call? Let’s talk about it. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/everydaykindoflife/message
