I think it's one of my favorite holidays. There’s no buying presents to be done and Ron has always cooked the turkey with all the fixings every Thanksgiving for 30 years now. I love having so much of the family over for the whole day just to hang out and I love our new tradition of decorating the Christmas tree earlier in the day...it’s so helpful! And I’m really looking forward to only working today and tomorrow and hanging out with you on Wednesday! So fun!!Sarah - Thanksgiving week for me too! I’m excited for the short break and family time. And also that you and I mom, get to have some non-work time, play time on Wednesday to just be. Kala with Rae of Creations will be displaying her hand-made jewelry, and Mandy with Sunnyside will be there to answer any and all questions on medical cannabis and how you might benefit from the plant. There is also the moon goddess night market starting just after yoga at 8pm at orlando brewing. They absorb and feel other people’s emotions and/or physical symptoms like an emotional sponge. Being an empath is different from being empathetic.  Being empathetic is when your heart goes out to someone else.  Being an empath means you can actually feel another person’s happiness or sadness in your own body.************************************What’s new with you and me?Petey - I’m continuing to make my way down the requests I’ve received for PLR’s and BLR’s ever since we did those two episodes recently. Since they take about 3 hours each, I think I’ll be doing regressions for quite some time. Last week I took a client back to the 1800’s to see that her soul contract in that life was love and loss. This directly relates to the life she has now where she’s been single by choice for over thirty years since her divorce. She hasn’t wanted to make herself emotionally available again. Then when she was with the Council of Elders and found out that she had chosen 6 major soul lessons for this lifetime, she realized why she had found me at this point in her life. I’m unpacking the Soul Lesson of Courage. Did you know there’s actually 6 different types of courage and of course for me, the most fascinating type is spiritual courage! Once you find yourself leveling up to this type of courage, you find everything else falling very naturally into place. I actually channeled from Spirit that the soul lesson of courage was created just for mankind because this is where we have ego and that is such a huge part of this human lifetime. When there’s no ego in the space between lifetimes you won’t find courage presenting!Sarah- Getting very sweet feedback on the podcasts from clients. Some are away traveling and binge listening to it to stay connected. Another client just told me how much she loves hearing how you grew up. That spirituality was normalized from such a young age and how it has helped her reconnect and share more with her own daughter. ************************************Thich Nhat Hanh (Teek not han)  suggests breathing in and saying, “I go back to my inner child,” and breathing out and saying, “I take care of my inner child.” You can take care of your inner child by writing some dialogue from your inner child’s point of view. This gives a voice to your pain. Sometimes that’s all the pain needs. Other times, it might need to be addressed through deeper psychological work. Acknowledging your inner child means treating them with respect and love. Relationships that have been safe containers for me in this life. I can not talk with them for even 2 or 3 yrs because of life happening and we pick up right where we left off. There’s no judgement, no critique….only unconditional love and respect and empathy. Everyone is coming from good intentions and it is received that way. There’s no hidden agendas or dysfunctional lens...just true love and respect.Sarah - my relationship with my dad felt unsafe - he was an alcoholic, disconnected and a logical communicator. Always ready to argue and dismiss my feelings. So I learned to hold back and push down uncomfortable emotions when I was with him. Over the years, I have learned more about setting boundaries and creating a safe environment for not just others but for me. I say things more clearly and I use I language more than you. Why isn’t it safe to share?People are defensive - Fear of judgement - they are too fragile and vulnerable, fear of critique can take someone down to depression or fill them with anxiety and they have inability to function with the overwhelm.Low self-esteem / preconceived thought that they are less than and not good enough-feel if they’re on the defense then they’re not opening themself up to hurt as much. Person gossips and is not a vault, Why gossip? Distracts from self, sensationalized so they sound better, learned from patterns growing up.But it establishes trust issues / violation or betrayal. Here are 9 ways To Create a Safe Container for Open Communication in Relationships1. Yoga under the stars is June 18th and then on July 9th.Quirky Insight:Petey-PLR-healing overwhelming fear of speaking her truth.Went back to WW2 and having been recruited at a young age to be in the French army. She was a male and landed in the lifetime running through the forest trying desperately to get away from the horrors of what the officers were doing to the Jews. He was fighting in Germany. He was also Jewish as his friends were and he watched them all get killed in horrible deaths. He knew he couldn’t speak up or he would have died as well. Somehow he survived and a few years later was called to testify at the Nuremberg Trials where his officers were convicted of heinous crimes and executed. There was still much trauma attached to this until I took her to her healing.Sarah -Client presented with a lot trauma, but only came to me because of Ulcers. The stress from her previous events and unresolved trauma had manifested in her body. In Louise Hay’s book, Heal your body, she identifies the metaphysical cause of ulcers to stem from fear. We used the trauma protocol developed from my nlp trainers at Inspired Outcomes to release the negative emotions in her body associated to these events. She had several events but the ones need to be cleared where twice when she was attacked while running and another when her home was robbed. She had a lot of motivation to heal - she was currently living back at home and had an amazing job opportunity in Colorado. The first time I saw him I said to myself, I have to be with him, I just have to be with him. And the first time we actually kissed I looked up at him and said, oh I’ve missed you so much. It just popped right out. He said, what do you mean, we just recently met. I said, I don’t know, I’ve just missed you! And it was such a palpable feeling. I have since learned through spirit that Ron and I have had at least 6 lifetimes together.  I know one of our soul contracts was to come back and be legit married in this lifetime and we’re now on 30 years this September! Sarah - Meeting Katie when I was traveling from Melbourne to Tasmania, we kept running into each other and actually her boyfriend took a photo on the ferry of my friend and I as the trip began. It was a 10-hour ferry ride and when we arrived, you go down to the bottom of the boat, get into your vehicle and drive the 4 hours to where Falls Festival is held over new years.  She’s actually the reason I got into yoga and who I went to YTT with in India and learned ™ with in Bali. There is such a strong soul connection and we’ve learned that we’ve had many lifetimes together. ****************Why do people call it a soul contract? Because it was made as a soul. When you’re making the soul contract before you come into this lifetime, it carries enormous weight on a soul level. This is because you’re making an agreement, a promise or a vow to uphold what you need to do for your greatest good, what you need to do to move your soul forward. You’ve made this soul contract and it’s not just something you can cancel even once you know about it. ****************Affirmation: I now understand with complete clarity that people and situations present in my life to fulfill my soul contract. Love coffee and love wine at night. Not like me - Sarah has calmer reactions than I do and much more common sense than I do. Sarah - Mom is very flexible and easy going with some idea of a plan. We are so aligned in manifesting and aligning our thoughts (how we created this show!) Love to try new foods, new places, new games and also find comfort in the same. Have an overlap of the same love languages. Same way of budgeting which was learned from mom - can’t spend it on everything but can as it feels right. There is always abundance and trust you are provided for. Not like me - much more of a risk taker to bungee jump or skydive. Sarah has more of an ability to figure out tangible things - for that from Ron.2. What’s one thing I can do for you right now so that you feel unconditional love and acceptance from me?Petey - commit to mother/daughter days and times for us to spending together to look forward to.Sarah - I would piggy back on that because I think we trust that we want to hang out with each other and when we do, we go deep quick. It is something that most people overlook. There are so many ways that adults with high self-esteem were supported as children that resulted in them having high self-esteem.Here are some questions for you. Think and respond in your mind if these have been issues for you. Do you have low self-esteem? Answer the following 9 questions from Psychology Today.Can I elaborate on my good points, skills, abilities, achievements, and success with other people?Can I stand my ground with people who I think are violating or overlooking my rights? Can I confidently and respectfully put my foot down?Am I fully happy with who I am, how I behave, and what I do in life?Am I not bothered by feelings of insecurity or anxiety when I meet people for the first time?Is my life balanced in aspects such as family life, social life, recreation/leisure, and spiritual life? (If you find yourself often gravitating toward distractive recreational activities you may be avoiding dealing with the reality of what your life really is)Am I aware of the roles I played in my family of origin and I have been usually able to make these behavior patterns work for me?Am I bonded with significant others at home, work, school, at play, or in the community?Am I a good problem solver?
