Imagine a world where using Nicotine as a brain stimulant had positive effects on our overall cognitive health. Sounds crazy right? Well the research has been done and proven that using a minuscule amount of Nicotine, alongside Methylene Blue, can push us to reach our greatest potential. In this episode of the Complete Human podcast, we’ll be talking about brain health, brain stimulation and the elements of optimizing brain function with Dr. Scott Sherr. Dr. Scott  takes us on a journey through the history of using Methylene Blue and how it was used in World War 2 to prevent fungal infections like trench foot as well as a long history link to Malaria as it was used as a strong anti-viral, anti-fungal as well as an antibacterial. Plus, Dr. Scott also explains how  pharmaceutical grade Nicotine, given in small doses, improves our focus, memory and tension as it is a neuroprotective stimulant. He then explains the studies done on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's patients and how nicotine helped with their cognitive tension. Dr. Scott Sherr is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician from Troscriptions, formulating pharmaceutical graded products that are precision dosed and are all physician formulated, trial and tested. He works alongside Dr. Ted Achacoso at Health Optimization Medicine which is a non profit company that focuses on the approach to optimizing our foundational cellular biology health. What We Discuss: 05:16: The origin of the idea of pairing Methylene Blue with Nicotine and optimizing the endocannabinoid system 12:23: Benefits of Troscription nootropics and where the ingredients are derived from  15:06: Can the nicotine formula be addictive? Does the therapeutic effect outweigh the risk?  20:37:  Thoughts on biohacking, being a complete human and the understanding your own individual biology  27:06: Diving deeper into Methylene Blue in relation to COVID-19 and Cancer  33:56: How Methylene Blue relates to mitochondrial dysfunction + its cognitive effect 36:55: How higher level athletes deal get the optimal recovery they need 39:16: What's the difference between Nicotine doses in a cigarette or vaping device vs. nicotine dosage in the products? 46:50: How to use Dr. Scott's products 50:16: Discussing a new product for stress relief, tension, relaxation and anxiety To learn more about Dr. Scott:www.instagram.com/drscottsherr/www.homehope.org/ Related Links:www.troscriptions.com/www.troscriptions.com/products/

Have you ever experienced a tragic event and felt like you had a broken heart? Most of us have. It turns out that there is more to just that feeling than we could have possibly known. It was always believed that the brain was responsible for sending signals to the heart but there is actually a two communication pathway between the heart and the brain. The heart sends signals to the brain which can an impact on mood, sleep and even HRV, something Complete Human has discussed at great length. HeartMath research has demonstrated that different patterns of heart activity (which accompany different emotional states) have distinct effects on cognitive and emotional function. During stress and negative emotions, when the heart rhythm pattern is erratic and disordered, the corresponding pattern of neural signals traveling from the heart to the brain inhibits higher cognitive functions. This limits our ability to think clearly, remember, learn, reason, and make effective decisions. (This helps explain why we may often act impulsively and unwisely when we’re under stress.) The heart’s input to the brain during stressful or negative emotions also has a profound effect on the brain’s emotional processes—actually serving to reinforce the emotional experience of stress. from HeartMath Institute websiteIn this episode we discuss the science of the heart brain connection with Dr. Deborah Rozman, it's impact on HRV and general health and what people can do to really optimize their heart connection. 2020 was a difficult year. Kids were confined to their homes why they attempted to learn through a computer. Most of us were cut off from friends and family as stay at home orders swept the nation nd the planet. Our way of live was turned upside down and possibly forever changed. In short - a global trauma ensued. The information contained in this episode of Complete Human sheds a fascinating light on the science behind this kind of global trauma and how HeartMath is helping people from all across the world heal.

What if the worst invention of all time wasn't the atomic bomb or some deadly viral pathogen, but the Refrigerator.  The US throws away 8o billion tons of food a year, most of which has been attributed to poor refrigerator organization. Food waste accounts for 40% of our total food supply and has an economic impact of roughly $1600 per family in the US. Compound that with the type of food that is being wasted and there is no confusion about why America is the most unhealthy of all industrialized nations. Is the solution to return the Maytag or Frigidaire? Most likely not. While CEO's are a plenty in this world, few will ever earn the moniker of "Shaper," someone destined to leave a positive mark on the planet. Like Elon Musk or Walt Disney, Greg Connolly is on a mission to lead a charge the reshapes the Earth. Trifecta is a home meal delivery company who's mission is to remove the possibility of diet failure by delivering fresh healthy meals directly to their customers doors. After speaking with Greg on this episode of Complete Human, we found that the mission goes far beyond that. From optimizing supply chains which decreases total carbon footprint, to innovating packaging that actually serves as compost, Trifecta seems destined to make a major dent in that 80 billion tons of food every year problem while addressing major climate issues and health problems.  Where Trifecta differs from other home meal delivery companies, and believe us, we've tried them all, is that you actually want to eat their food. They have clearly not sacrificed quality to chase margin. The variety of meals they offer and the quality of those meals are clearly one of the reasons that Trifecta is the largest business of it's kind. While giving back the refrigerator is not really an option any more, packing it full of Trifecta is one step that we can all take improve the health of the people and the health of the planet. To that end, we encourage all of you to check out Trifecta here and use coupon code completehuman to save 40% off your first order.

For as long as humans have walked the Earth, people have dreamed about true potential. From fire and the wheel to putting a man on the moon, our desire to push the boundaries of what we once thought was impossible has been the driving force and often the crowning achievements in the relatively short history of humankind on this planet. But where does this desire stem from? Maslow's hierarchy of basic human needs has been the default ideology for man's quest for actualization for decades. But what really is behind self actualization. As we peel back the layers of the Complete Human, we find that our own potential as individuals and as a species emerges time and again as the distinguishing characteristic that might just save us from all of our past transgressions. On toady's show, Dr. Scott Barry Kaufman takes us on a journey into human's potential, the pitfalls of Maslow's theory and how we can all take one step closer to realizing our fullest potential.

1990 saw the introduction of Michael Crichton’s book Jurassic Park, a cautionary tale about the awesome power of genetic engineering. The story captured the minds of science fiction fans the world over but it wasn’t until the launch of Jurassic Park the movie that the general population understood the true power of what Ingen was doing on that island off of Costa Rica. Genetic engineering is no longer science fiction – it is here and it is going to have an impact on the future. Science Fiction, for the most part, allows the dreamers of a generation to visualize what the future will look like, and then apply the very real consequences of the choices we make as a species to a fictional story. In many ways, science fiction acts as a global cautionary tale, a giant neon sign saying “Danger Will Robinson.” Jamie Metzl has made a career out of blending the unimaginable potential of technology with the very imaginable consequences of that technology. With a masterful hand, he guides us through the cosmic mine field of that technology with a patient approach to unifying humanity through education. As a science fiction and fiction writer, he understands the power of story in explaining the science of emerging tech, and the consequences of that tech if not handled properly. Jaime Metzl is a technology and healthcare futurist, geopolitical expert, novelist, social entrepreneur, and the Founder and Chair of the global social movement OneSharedWorld. In 2019, he was appointed to the World Health Organization expert advisory committee on human genome editing.FREE E-BOOK: The 4 Pillars of Epigenetic Change HEREFollow Complete Human on Instagram & FacebookTo connect with Janna Breslin click HERETo connect with Evan DeMarco click HERERead more on the Complete Human website

Have you ever looked in the mirror and thought “I wish I had a different hair color or eye color.” What about more muscle, less body fat? What about more brain power, better eyesight, more empathy?Contained within our genetic code is the raw untapped potential of the human condition. Within that same code is the negative potential of that condition where cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer’s are switch away. CRSIPR cas9 is the technology that gives us the change to eradicate these diseases while also making some very fundamental changes to human beings.  Are we ready to play God? What are the long-term consequences of this technology and the genetic editing that comes from it? Who is responsible for policing this technology and who should decide what edits can be made? The ethical conversation is one we cannot cover in a short podcast, but this week Janna and Evan discuss just a few of the ethical and global implications of genetic editing and what they would change about themselves if given the chance. FREE E-BOOK: The 4 Pillars of Epigenetic Change HEREFollow Complete Human on Instagram & FacebookTo connect with Janna Breslin click HERETo connect with Evan DeMarco click HERERead more on the Complete Human website

What is our "Why?"While The Complete Human Podcast covers a lot of topics, sometimes seemingly at random, the driving force behind the show is The 4 Principles. The journey began for Janna and Evan in the mountains of Peru where they discussed many of the challenges that people and the planet face. The mission, stemming from the origins in Peru, and culminating in the launch of The Complete Human Podcast, was to educate and inspire people to make a difference in their own health so they could make a difference in the health of the planet. To accomplish their mission, they needed to create a system that others could follow. That system had to be based on the success of others. What did real game changers do day in and day out to optimize their health and support real change in the world. Bio-Optimization was the answer, and while each person might call it something a little different, the path and therefore the result is almost always the same. 1. Mental Fortitude2. Physical Health3. Spiritual Abundance4. Planetary ConnectionIn this episode, Janna and Evan touch briefly on what they've uncovered in their research and lay the foundation for future content, all designed to support the mission of The Complete Human Journey. In 1818, the world was introduced to the Frankenstein Monster. Frankenstein’s creation was assembled from old body parts and strange chemicals and animated by a spark. Mary Shelly’s monster has taken on numerous incarnations through the years, spawning comics, TV shows and never-ending supply of movies. The story of a scientist who creates a horrible monster using electricity has largely been thought of as a cautionary tale, but perhaps Mary Shelly was ahead of her time in understanding the role electricity plays in keeping the human body healthy. We’ve come a long way since 1818 in our understanding of how the human body uses energy. But how has that knowledge helped us shape practical tools to improve overall health. The answer is PEMF, or pulsed electromagnetic field.Stay tuned for this one – it's electrifying.Click here to find out more information on BEMER PEMFFREE E-BOOK: The 4 Pillars of Epigenetic Change HEREFollow Complete Human on Instagram & FacebookTo connect with Janna Breslin click HERETo connect with Evan DeMarco click HERERead more on the Complete Human website

Are we supposed to be vegans or carnivores? Dr. Paul Saladino has a very unique answer to that question.Since the dawn of time, the food chain has been divided into two very distinct groups – carnivores and herbivores. The herbivores ate the plants and the carnivores ate the herbivores. We were really able to see this distinction in the dinosaurs over 65 million years ago. The dinosaurs died out, eventually paving the way for man, the pesky little hybrid of a creature who consumed both plant and animal. The study of man’s diet through the ages is a topic of much debate in scientific circles. Did we flourish as meat eaters or are we meant to be herbivores. Outside of the scientific debate, there is a cultural clash between those who oppose eating animals, and those that believe that our greatest path to health lies in consuming meat.In this episode of The Complete Human Podcast, Janna and Evan discuss the Carnivore Diet with Dr. Paul Saladino, author of the Carnivore Code. Dr. Saladino discusses man's origins as hunters, and how eating animals made us human. He discusses in great detail plant toxins of all types, where they are found, and how to avoid these toxins. Dr. Saladino brings a very unique position to the conversation of dietary supplements and why some may be doing more harm than good. Join Janna and Evan for fascinating look at the controversial topic of the Carnivore Diet. To connect with Dr. Paul Saladino click HEREFREE E-BOOK: The 4 Pillars of Epigenetic Change HEREFollow Complete Human on Instagram & FacebookTo connect with Janna Breslin click HERETo connect with Evan DeMarco click HERERead more on the Complete Human website
