The message from the world and society around us is clear. Keep your beliefs to yourself, If you do not align with what we say you will be silenced in the public sphere, media, politics. But you were not created to blend in with the world, you were not created to remain silent about the gospel of Jesus Christ, you were not created to merely keep a seat warm on a Sunday and keep everything else to yourself, your identity is different then the worlds. You are called to be light in a dark world.
38 min 21 sec
Identity can be defined by many things but at it’s core, identity answers this question “who are you?” Some might say “well I’m a Dr., a lawyer, a construction worker” and while those things play a part in our identity, those things, that’s what you do. Who you are will always be far more important than what you do. What drives you, what compels you to get up every day. What are your passions, your likes, your dislikes. What gives you purpose, what gives you worth, where do you find your worth? Please join us as Pastor Donnie talks about our identity and being Soldiers of God, and teaches from 2 Timothy Chapter 2.

What are some ways that the devil gets a foothold in the body of Christ? Please joint us as Pastor Donnie talks about the three demonic tactics that satan uses to disrupt the church.

God is the creator, everything after Him is a result and creation, as a creation of the creator we are limited, angels, demons and the devil himself do not compare and won’t ever rival the greatness of God- the creator. In order to not be of the world it takes a conscious effort to reject the things of the world. There are those in our world that openly and blatantly welcome demonic and satanic influence and practice into their lives. Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches on Blatant and Subtle demonic influence .

Satan is a created being originally created by God as an Angel. Ezekiel 28 Describes how beautiful Satan was, God created him to be perfect in wisdom and beauty, a spectacle of flawlessness and gave him special capabilities in music and voice. He was an angel of high position and satan- called lucifer at the time, had favor with God. But then things went wrong. Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14 teach us that Satan started to think too highly of himself because …of all his gifts, he started to crave the honor that was bestowed on God for himself. We call this pride.

Culture seeks to create weak people. Culture is constantly feeding this message of go with what we say, those in authority know more than you, trust your feelings and that will lead you into all truth, do not seek wisdom or investigate- trust what the constant message says and take it at face value. There is nothing in culture that teaches strength, honor, wisdom, character, or standing up for what is right and just. You won’t find it, why? Because culture seeks to create a weak society. What makes rebellion righteous? Rebelling when the governing authority forbids you to do something that God commands. Rebelling when the governing authority commands you to do something that God forbids. Daniel is a man committed to God in life, conduct and prayer. He was such a faithful man that other people in governing authority had to make a law against Daniel in the area of prayer, because they knew Daniel was so faithful that he’d never stop praying. Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches from Daniel Chapter 6 on the importance of prayer in all areas or our life.

Rebelling when governing authority forbids you to do something that God commands. Understand that righteous rebellion is when the kingdom of earth is trying to take place of the kingdom of heaven and you choose to submit to the kingdom of heaven. Join us as Pastor Donnie teaches from Daniel chapter 3. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego are commanded to bow down, governing authority commanded them to bow down- to accept and support this form of worship, this unbiblical command, they are told to submit and bow down. They refuse. They are called in for question, have you ever been asked a blunt question and you start to understand the reality of the situation and that the question carries consequences with it but you are forced to remain true in your answer? This is that moment.

We are not talking about political principles, we are talking about Biblical principles. What makes rebellion righteous? Rebelling when the governing authority forbids you to do something that God commands. There are times throughout history where Christians are labeled as enemies of the state, they are seen as rebels, and they are told to bow down to worldly standards and give up their biblical standards, to stop preaching the name of Jesus, to turn away from the gospel message of repentance and putting ones faith in Jesus. It is in these moments where it is the duty of every Christ-follower to rebel against such demands and take a stand in righteousness. But often there is a counter argument that says no, Christians are obedient in all things to all things. And more often than not the first scripture to be quoted is Romans 13.

Men are Men, women are women. Both equally valuable. Both equally important. But we are not the same. Men and women are created differently than one another and out of their uniqueness they compliment one another because they can accomplish things that the other gender cannot. The gender that God has given you is the perfect one for you. Genders are not the same, they are beautifully different and unique. God’s plan for your life includes the biological gender that He’s given you. Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches out of Genesis chapter 2.

Remembering often… Gives us direction for the future. We are able to recognize mistakes made in the past so that don’t repeat them and therefor we change directions in our lives as we remember past mistakes. Remembering Gives us discernment because we are able to see details of the past that those who were going through a trial or circumstance did not see—because Afterall they were experiencing it. No time to evaluate when you are going through something. Remember Allows us to have compassion. When we recognize our past mistakes, we tend to give grace and compassion as we recognize that those we often complain about--- at one time or another, we were just like them. In our culture we are familiar with the story of Jesus Christ. We know about Him living, dying and what this day is all about, His resurrection- raised to life for you and I. There is a disconnect in our culture. Our culture knows about Him and yet doesn’t truly know Him. What prevents us from transitioning from knowing about Jesus to truly experiencing Jesus? Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches out of John Chapter 20 and discusses what prevents us from transitioning from knowing about Jesus to truly experiencing Jesus.

Our goal when discussing the sanctity of life and addressing the topic of abortion is to not only bring awareness to the issue at hand, give biblical perspective on the matter but it’s also to see redemption come to the lives of those that have made the decision to have an abortion and see healing come to your life. Nowhere in scripture is there a basis that says “well, it’s their choice.” Nowhere in scripture are there people that go through an abortion and it’s permissible. So we talked about our worldview, our outlook on life, where morality/right and wrong comes from. We’ve discussed a little bit about the fact that being a Christian means that we value all life and view life as precious and sacred. Please join us as Pastor Donnie closes out our series on The Sanctity of Life.

We are created beings made in the image of God- which leads us to the reality that if we are created by something else that our lives aren’t revolved around us, they are revolved around our creator and what His purpose is and His plan is. Discouragement can cause us to feel hopeless. Have you ever gotten sick and felt so discouraged that you asked “will I ever feel normal again?” Nehemiah hears about God’s city being in ruin and people no longer following God. But God provides and God uses Nehemiah to overcome all of these challenges, including a discouraged group of people. Please join us as Pastor Donnie teaches out of Nehemiah Chapter 4.

We have become so focused on improving the quality of life here and now, that we have neglected the doctrine of heaven. Let’s be honest, as Americans we have such bad habit of this, we are not putting down the desire to do more for yourself and be successful in life, we are saying that our hope shouldn’t be found in this life. Paul says- what we are dealing with right now…it doesn’t compare to what awaits for eternity.
