You will hear and learn about primitivity, relationships, safety, and much more!Don't miss this episode and start to become the UNcivilized man this world needs.CREATIVITY IN LOVE: Discover more at https://maddy-moon.lpages.co/creativity-in-love/ SISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spirit Show notes:Opinions like "I will rather be a sacred slut than an empire-building girl boss" can make women angry, thinking that we are against each other when it is not.As women, we are used to fighting for acceptance, which is exhausting. But -- we have nothing to prove to them. The inspiration behind The Uncivilized Man Movement is the primitive man dealing with unexpressed emotions and pain. One of Traver's passions is to help men connect their emotions and feelings to something bigger than themselves so that they can be a better person.Traver wants to thank every woman who's bought his book and spread his message. With power comes great responsibility, and being in a man's body does bring great power. In other words, don't apologize for being born as a man. Do something good with it.The Uncivilized Man Movement's mantra is to let others feel safe as you walk among them.Biology exists, and it needs to be recognized. For that reason, no matter how many books we read and how much money we make, our biology has to be tended to.What can we do for men? Encourage, celebrate and support them. All men have a green light and a red light inside of them.A couple fighting to be in the alpha role will cause harm to the relationship. As a result, it is going to be a power struggle and a pissing contest. For Traver, the depth of the word "safety" is something he had to learn by himself. Now, he helps men to comprise and create it.Traver Boehm is perplexed by the state of our culture. Right now, he feels people are digging their heels against the pendulum — a kind of middle ground unto itself."The women are the message spreaders of the world."Traver feels that as the dominant in the room, men are responsible for the women. That is to say, men must take care of them. Connect with Traver: Website: manuncivilized.comBuy Traver's book: https://www.manuncivilized.com/thebookInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/traverboehm/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAoPi5PeZKBcBb07yqdeOwQAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Drawing upon an eclectic background ranging from professional bodyguarding and Mixed Martial Arts to a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and meditation, Traver counsels men, women, and couples on how to better understand men’s mental health and relationship difficulties. In this episode, originally recorded as a live-class episode of Traver's podcast. Raw and unfiltered, Madelyn and Traver discuss artistry and generosity, purity culture, sensuality, how to make art in triggered moments, polarity, devotion, and healing the wounds that are keeping us at a distance from those we want to love and love well.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:Traver will also appear on Mind Body Musings soon.Speaking to an audience who may be unfamiliar with her, Madelyn discusses her study in yogic intimacy and her upbringing in purity culture.Purity culture is essentially slut-shaming at its core, wholesale denial of feminine sexuality. An extension of this is also the way that women speak of each other and their gender. "I'm not like most girls," or, "Don't worry; I'm not crazy."During her time in bodybuilding, Madelyn found that having been raised to believe and assume that men are "better" than women was contributing to her building physical armor around her emotional truth.Being unable to cope with the "curvature of life" manifested as OCD; living through an eating disorder manifested because of being unable to cope with the curvature of body.A woman revealing to her partner the part of her that is "lost," she is letting go of everything her body has been taught/forced/compelled to do.Being able to be sharp and then go into softness is part of the privilege of being a man.Richard Rudd - The Gene Keys - the highest form of love is to arrive just as you are, beyond the things you're into, beyond what you're practicing. "I don't need you to do anything." More Richard Rudd here: maddymoon.com/richard-rudd/Madelyn explores the concept of approaching dating as a practice - holding your body to transmit, "I'm open. I'm present."One of the primary masculine challenges - there's tremendous anger toward the feminine in the masculine."Entitlement is a big piece of what men need to work through."Three Stages of CommunicationBased on The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida – https://amzn.to/3i2REUUFirst Stage: Reactive, the way most people are interacting. When one feels triggered, repressive reaction, silent treatment, withholding love, punishing, spiritual bypassing.Second Stage: Everyone needs more of this - talk therapy, clear, "When you did X, I felt Y, and I desire ..."This is formatted and structured - very much in the masculine domain.Third Stage: revealing truth as a gift to our partner.Instead of an accusatory, "You always do this to me," transformed into a statement in the name of love, with love.Madelyn has worked on connecting to the part of her that's heartbroken. The heartbroken part is the same part that wants to be an offering."There's no part of heartbroken-ness that wants distance. The first step of elevating relationship into artistry: Recognize your complaint in the relationship.Madelyn is incubating the idea of some sort of show related to her work - polarity dating show? Episode 336: Yogic intimacy and Tantra are spiritual embodiment practices that both encompass and extend beyond sex. Madelyn has been focusing on Tantra to complement the Yogic intimacy work she's been engaged with for years. Learning just basic physical intimacy is a challenge for many of us, let alone exploring and enhancing by engaging the physical with the spiritual, and the masculine with the feminine. Madelyn has been focused more on her TikTok and Instagram these days, as she's been using visual components to teach these concepts. In this episode Madelyn catches up on what she's been up to and explores some tools and practices available to bring art to our intimacy.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:Madelyn's intention is to now release one podcast episode per month. The podcast is no longer at the forefront of her prerogatives as a teacher.Follow Madelyn on Instagram and TikTok, where she's taking her polarity teaching with a visual component. Episode 334: As more and more of us as individuals and as a society become aware of our own feminine/masculine and engaging in conscious embodiment, the path to equilibrium in a relationship can sometimes feel like it's become more and more difficult. The "bold masculine" impulse to operate by mandates, to organize and structure, can conflict with the more important and valuabe acts of simply being present. In this episode, originally recorded for The Rising Man podcast, Madelyn and host Jeddy Azuma discuss boundaries, the bold masculine, and the intersection of embodiment and intimacy.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:Madelyn participated in this conversation on Jeddy Azuma's The Rising Man podcast - https://maddymoon.com/rising-manThere's a workshop next week - Artistic Intimacy - maddymoon.com/artisticIf you're interested in using feminine (energy) and masculine (consciousness) energetics in your day-to-day life, know that there's a playful way to handle conflict in your relationship, and are fed up with closed-hearted "lol okay" statements but don't know how to escape that space, this workshop is for you. What is the difference between a boy and a man?A boy has energy of either tiptoeing or stomping on eggshells.A man is more even-keel eggshell walking, more confident, more present in himself, more breath in the way he'll live his life. His presence allows her to be more at ease.Madelyn had to reprogram her constructs from upbringing - that certain emotions were "wrong."When she started on her embodiment path, she learned to use her physical body to reveal anger, reveal grief. This led to her presenting herself in relationships more in real time, avoiding language that leans on shame and blame. The masculine can be characterized as consciousness, depth, nothingness - the container. The feminine can be characterized as energy, motion, chaos - what fills the container.Women often get caught off guard when a man finally arrives at being in touch with his emotions, which can lead to defensiveness from both.Whoever is more consumed and focused on more love in the relationship, is the one in the feminine. You cannot be penetrated by life when you're constantly setting up boundaries - think of a sandbox instead.Setting boundaries is not about trying to create separation and walls.Men can feel dry and boring after too much focus on providing the stability they perceive as being asked of them, and deprioritizing adventure.Women want your truth - don't say yes if you mean no.Feeling the "no" within a "yes" is damaging to trust in a relationship.Be authentically present through eye contact, aftercare, awareness, not necessarily analyzing and structuring.Sometimes the more valuable work is done by not "working" on it, but being present for it.Connect with Madelyn: Facebook: https://facebook.com/moonfitness/Instagram: https://instagram.com/madelynmoon/Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes: http://maddymoon.com/itunesDownload my Four Favourite Feminine Embodiment Practices: https://maddymoon.com/freegiftAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

A girlfriend at 18 suggested she explore becoming a dominatrix. At this point is when she stepped into her own sexual power. "Oh, my sex isn't for other people."Previously sex had largely been transactional, not done for enjoyment. Now she was able to use people's kinks (often expression of pain and trauma as a filter to experience pleasure through) to bring them through their trauma and into healing.Genevieve was raped at age 13, but didn't consciously acknowledge it as such until later in life. She was later able reclaim it through work with a partner. When people who are not experiencing pleasure due to trauma are able to reclaim it, they invariably realize that it was because they were terrified of the power of their pleasure. They were protecting themselves from pleasure. She had to learn how to be intimate and gentle with herself. Many of Genevieve's mentors are much older, and the death of one of these friends and guides became a regular and frequent reality for her.Genevieve has been non-monogamous (Shapeshifter Erotic Blueprint) for as long as she can remember - her lovers are like family or best friends. Her partner was new to even the concept, so it has been a process of communication, acknowledging triggers will occur and utilize them to confront their fears together.Genevieve's book: Fuck Yourself Open has more detail on Genevieve's 20+ years of erotic exploration through her lived experience and gifts you the simple, effective tools to reclaim your body and its innate wisdom, once and for all - https://amzn.to/2NTfnNDYour pleasure is your responsibility!Connect with Genevieve:Join The Pleasure Circle here: http://genevievepleasure.com/free/Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Episode 332: Rotana is a Saudi Arabian performance artist, singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, she moved to Los Angeles five years ago to pursue music after quitting her job at Saudi Aramco, the largest oil company in the world. She is currently working on her one woman show/musical, Alien of Extraordinary Ability (named after her immigration status), and her debut album which just released her latest singles Sin Again and Stuck in America.Rotana describes herself as an initiator, an erotic being, and a liberator. As an artist that reckons daily with the experience of “other”, she is determined to give movement, sound, beauty and witness to that experience. After premiering her one woman show at FORM, a world renowned festival featuring artists and poets like Aja Monet and Florence and The Machine, she received the attention of publications like GQ noting that Rotana “delivered one of the most spine-tingling performances of the entire FORM festival.” She has also collaborated with brands including Fendi, Miu Miu, Lucky Brand, and more. Rotana has been named one of BBC’s 100 most powerful women and covered by GQ, LA Weekly, Huffington Post, Vice Arabia, Vogue Arabia, NPR, and AJ+. Her performances have spanned cities globally including Paris, Abu Dhabi, Los Angeles, New York, and at the Sundance Music Festival. Straddling a profound love for her home and the determination to be free, Rotana’s music speaks to the journey of self realization in the face of Saudi tradition, God, sexuality, family and the immigrant experience.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:Try Care/Of! Episode 331: Most of us know about the Hero's Journey, the narrative template wherein the "hero" undergoes a series of patterns by which he actually becomes the hero. But what about the heroine? The feminine Heroine's Journey obviously doesn't follow the same pattern and has its own nuance and particulars. In special episode, Madelyn presents one of her full sessions from Sisu Society, outlining how to consider your own truth and story through the lens of the Heroine's Journey as described by authors Maureen Murdock and Camy Tang.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:This episode is a special full class from Sisu Society.Purchase the Sisu Society for 10% off using code MINDBODYMUSINGS: maddymoon.com/sisu-societyThis is about being brilliantly resilient in your feminine.Come back to your most pure, original, effortless state, which is being loved and being open. You have probably been living The Heroine's Journey unconsciously your entire life. The Hero's Journey is about what a man will endure through his life to become his own hero.Joseph Campbell said The Hero's Journey takes men to the place that women have been all along.Author Maureen Murdock disagrees with this somewhat and believes there's more to it. Get the book The Heroine's Journey here - https://amzn.to/2YZPXA7The Hero's Journey is about "things that happen," while The Heroine's Journey is more about transformation, disembodying and associating.Women's leadership and women's sexuality are two prominent fronts in the modern Heroine's Journey.Write or consider your own story as fiction. This allows you to get distance from it, as well as explore concepts and areas you might avoid or not give yourself permission to explore in nonfictional consideration, such as memoir.Madelyn then walks through Camy Tang's Heroine's Journey worksheet - available here: maddymoon.com/camy-tang-worksheetNumber one: the illusion of the perfect world.Think of a time before a big change - what was something you needed, that you didn't know at the time? What archetype were you inhabiting at the time?Number two: separation from the feminine, something that "jarringly separates you from the voice in your womb."Not necessarily traumatic or bad, but something that changed your path - the call to adventure. What is the thing that happened to you? And how did you lose what you cared about, what you thought you needed to have?Don't judge yourself - this isn't about guilt or correction. Focus on what it's bringing up for you.Number three: the point of no return, and the preparation of the journey. The identification of the masculine. When did you separate from the feminine and how did you identify with the masculine?Number four: the descent - the journey into the underworld. This is the part where you'll experience the most trials.Number five: the illusion of success.Life is full of exquisite expansion and contraction, and going into contraction isn't failure or a less important part than the expansion or success.Number six: death. All is lost, the black moment. All is taken, the ultimate bathroom-floor breakdown, divine opening. This is the moment where you are face-to-face with the ultimate fork in the road or inflection point.Number seven: surrender. You've surrendered, and your "spiritual team" rallies around you, and you come back into the feminine.Number eight: healing with the mother, rebirth, and healing with the wounded masculine. Now coming into the space of conscious masculinity in rhythm with the feminine. Now it's about coming back into the world.Number nine: return to the perfect world, master of two worlds, freedom to live, final reward, integration.Think about your relationship with the feminine at different stages compared to it now.Be present even in the chaos.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Episode 329: If you're on a self-aware and overt path of energy and relationship work, it can be both a challenge to grow if your partner isn't a "conscious man" on the same path, hasn't read the same books, attended the same workshops, and cultivated the same awareness of intimacy dynamics. However, there's also a great opportunity there, since if both partners are doing the same work very consciously, it can lead to a stilted sense of rigidity and overwhelming self-consciousness. It's okay if you carry these ideas more consciously than your partner! In this episode Madelyn explores this concept, covers the trouble spots as well as the benefits, and how to align your sensibilities to enhance your intimacy and stop waiting for the perfect conscious man.COACHING: Discover more at https://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: https://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:This episode's topic is "withholding."For an introduction to the topic, see Madelyn's Instagram post: https://www.instagram.com/p/CJ32l27nOF8/There's a misconception that both partners must have the knowledge of spirituality/sexuality in order for the couple to work in that sphere.Book: Blue Truth by David Deida: https://amzn.to/2XzltnKIt only takes one person to be conscious and understanding of things like "eye contact during sex deepens intimacy."It's important to break the barrier of fear of looking or feeling stupid in order to evoke your spiritual intimacy and sexuality together.Intimacy with someone who is aware of these dynamics is different than intimacy with someone who is not. Both partners being very aware of this can make the process feel too predefined and static, or transform it into a performance. On the other hand, it can be a challenge if you or your partner is not aware.Taboos are the way that we sexualize our shame, which can be very positive. It's showing you a place that deeply desires to be nourished and loved. If your partner is not aware of the work, those darker places might challenge their identity. If you are waiting for someone to check off all of these boxes, you are withholding, and you're the one suffering. The deeper you go into your own practice, the more you will evoke it in your partner. This process can open you up to falling in love with more and more different "types" of people.Instagram and other platforms have a lot of strange censorship going on - make sure you're on the email list as a backup! maddymoon.com/feminineConnect with Madelyn: Facebook: https://facebook.com/moonfitness/Instagram: https://instagram.com/madelynmoon/Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes: http://maddymoon.com/itunesDownload my Four Favorite Feminine Embodiment Practices: https://maddymoon.com/freegiftAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Episode 328: We are all creators - whether we're creating a podcast, a beautiful meal, music, a drawing, or our living spaces. The pressures of content creation and consumption on social media can leave us feeling disconnected with the pure joy of creation and enjoying content. At the end of 2020, Madelyn took a step back from social media and content creation and did a bit of Instagram cleansing, which then led to a reevaluation of her own time and energy, and a break from the podcast as well.In this episode Madelyn discusses this break, how to use the stresses of 2020 as an opportunity for change in 2021, rapture, and the joy of naps.COACHING: Discover more at http://maddymoon.com/coachingSISU SOCIETY: Join here: http://maddymoon.com/sisu-societyFEMININE SPIRIT SCHOOL: Join here: http://maddymoon.com/feminine-spiritShow Notes:Madelyn was light on podcasts in December. This stressful time is not so much like "being put through the wringer" as "being put through the portal."Break started with Instagram break in November - deleted from phone, installed to make a post and taken offMadelyn was struggling with the constant pressure of social media - "Instagram hamster wheel."There's a difference between being a "creator" and having to "create content."When the creations are used to make a living, they become something different.Madelyn had lost sight of the actual spirit of creation in the pressure create content.Every creation comes with a to-do list.Part of our evolution as a society is also reflective of changes like this, moving to what's important. She's been cocooning since moving, creating her new space.Madelyn's word for the year: RaptureMadelyn wrote a book during this time, in addition to the novel she's been working on.Social media can be like an infant that needs constant care - even just the stress of keeping up and commenting that takes your focus away from the joy of creating for creation's sake.Look to how you can bring in more help for yourself this year. One spot for one-on-one coaching is opening up in January!Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Episode 325: Amanda Katherine Loy (she/her) — also known on Instagram as that Bisexual Body Positive BRCA babe — is on a mission to help you face your fears, speak your truth and get you one step closer to living your f*ck yes life. She this does in multiple facets, through her work as an actor, a body confidence & mindset coach, podcast host, writer and speaker. Amanda Katherine Loy has a long history of operating solely from a place of shoulds — unconsciously dimming her light and keeping herself small in hopes that it would keep her safe, seen and accepted through a myriad of ways: eating disorder cycles, over exercising, work-aholism, toxic relationships and beyond. Through her own unique journey to liberation, she’s become wildly passionate about arming her fuck yes community with the tools to help them step into their fullest and most authentic selves, so that they can live every day feeling unapologetic AF in their own skin and truly come home to themselves. In 2018, she launched her top charting weekly podcast, Live Your F*ck Yes Life — the space to be for conscious conversations and candid shares around shit nobody really f*cking talks about. And in 2019, she courageously shared her journey of navigating a preventative double mastectomy at the age of 27 in her self published book, I Chopped Off My Tits. Episode 323: All of us are both masculine and feminine beings. Most of us are primarily masculine or primarily feminine, but it's important that we consciously work on balancing the two in ways that work for us. The feminine oracle is a component of a primarily feminine consciousness and body that is aware of and responds to our environments - our intuition. Episode 316: From coronavirus to politics and civil unrest and the fight for social justice, this year is proving to be a challenging time of change and transition for everyone, Madelyn included. If you find yourself paralyzed by decision in trying to determine the path you're meant to be on, it's important to be aware of what your body is telling you. In this episode Madelyn uses the closure of her relationship as a context to explore these choices, how to avoid being paralyzed by decision, and how each big choice is really a decision on what you're willing to sacrifice. Show Notes: Madelyn has left her recent partnership. One of biggest fears people have when faced with important decisions is, "Will I regret this?" Remember a past difficult decision, and consider whether you regret the decision you've made. Her living situation had forced her to surrender autonomy. Relationship was two Omegas together, two emotional beings. Identifying when we're given trials we're meant to walk through, versus trials where we're meant to pivot. The decision point was around surrendering much of what Maddy wanted, versus honoring the relationship and moving on to what's next. When considering the idea of staying, she could feel her body contract, and she knew it wasn't right to surrender to that. The experience has refined Madelyn's clarity on what she wants out of a relationship. Episode 315: A teacher, mystic and poet, Richard Rudd attended Edinburgh University where he gained a Master’s degree in literature and metaphysics. A born explorer, he has studied with great teachers in the East, traveled through the Himalayas, the Pacific, the Americas and the Arctic. He worked in the film industry in Australia, trained as a teacher of Chi Kung and meditation in Thailand and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on a small yacht. Throughout his adventures Richard Rudd has explored his love of writing and in 2006 he won the FISH international poetry award in Ireland. Richard's mystical journey began early in life as he experienced strange energies rushing throughout his body. This catalyzed his spiritual search. All his studies became synthesized in 2002 when he began to write and receive the Gene Keys - a vast synthesis exploring the miraculous possibilities inherent in human DNA. It took 7 years to write the book and understand its teachings and applications. Today Richard continues to study and teach the profound lessons contained in the Gene Keys. It brought him in touch with an awareness of his destiny. Richard took years to understand and integrate the experience he had, eventually resulting in the Gene Keys!. "Humanity has built itself on the higher truths, without realizing." "To really access deep veins of truth, you cannot rush. You've got to be loving. You've got to be gentle. You've got to romance wisdom. A Gene Key represents an encyclopedia of an aspect of consciousness, encoded in all things. "Each Gene Key gives us the opportunity to rephrase the language of a life." As long as you've found yourself with someone who is essentially kind at their core, allow yourself to "dig your well" deeply with that person. "Two people coming together is an alchemical cauldron." "Someone who provokes you is a really wonderful gift." "The divine isn't cruel. The divine wants you to see the fruits of your labor." Many spiritually minded people operate with the assumption/wish that this is their "last life," but often that's more reflective of the fact that they're not particularly enjoying this life. Philosophically one's "last life" would be incredibly ecstatic and joyful, so the challenge is to see the opportunity and identify what's left to be done. "There's a perfection in every moment." Richard believes that the next epoch of humanity will not be based in suffering, but bliss. It's important to do the work to understand suffering (shadow). Richard believes we may retain memory between births in the next phase of our evolution. Béla Hamvas: "Drink, and the wine will take care of the rest." Episode 314: Emotional and psychological abuse from our past can manifest in insidious ways throughout our lives, frequently in the form of consciously or unconsciously perpetuating that psychological abuse in our current relationships. In this episodes Madelyn explores how trauma from her upbringing has impacted how she approaches relationships today, whether her own, or through her relationship work that she practices with others. Show Notes: Relationships are Madelyn's "playground." It's important to define relationships through communication. It is not "needy" to have a desire for this identification. A lot of men have lost touch with the communication and check-in type of leadership. You can leverage the feminine to guide into conversations about relationship state or definition. Lead not with the complaint, but with the desire. One of the most dangerous places we get ourselves into is when we say we're okay with something, but then more passively punishing our partners for it. This punishment, such as withholding love, is actually abusive. In October Madelyn's parents had an argument resulting in a quick divorce. Madelyn is still working on how to appropriately share her story about her relationship and experiences with her parents. Madelyn's sense of emotions and love was very distorted growing up. These interactions caused Madelyn's interest in and dedication to relationships. Book: Attached by Amir Levine - https://amzn.to/3hYEBUg Madelyn's attachment style tends to adjust itself depending on the attachment style of her partner. The living situation with the Airstream was mirroring the lack of agency and control from her childhood. Recently Madelyn and her partner have taken steps to restore her sense of sovereignty. You do not need anything outside of you to have sovereignty. Inner Child work is about actually going into your Inner Child trauma, letting it arise, and being there for it. Episode 313: It can be difficult to navigate the delicate nuance of balancing conscious masculine energy with thoughtfulness and consideration for your partner's (and your own) feminine energy. Men lose credibility with women often through not be present to the needs of their partners. Join Madelyn as she discusses the ways men lose credibility with the women in their lives, as a guest on Dominick Quartuccio's & Bryan Stacy's The Great Man Within Podcast. Show Notes: The Great Man Within Podcast can be found here: https://www.doinnerwork.com/podcast Bryan & Dominick focus on spiritualizing healthy divine masculinity in proper balance with the feminine. If her belief is that she can't trust the masculine, to prove her wrong, do it with fervor. Don't ignore her concerns - listen and hear. Lead strongly and with conviction. Lack of integrity on what you can and cannot handle. Make the space for yourself and your needs, so that you can fulfill those needs and be present when you're with your partner. Not following through. If you have wounds about someone not being there when you needed it are so easily reopened by not being available when you are needed, but conversely can also be healed by simply being present. Respect both your time and the time of your partner. Failing to go unconscious in transitions. The moment your bodies are no longer connected after sex, can your keep your spiritual connection? Defending yourself rather than listening to her. The feminine has been shushed, poked, prodded, limited, beaten, sold, raped, separated, mutilated, and silenced since the beginning of humankind. When you listen to her and start to change the paradigm of how these interactions go, you are healing the feminine." When you partner is presenting you with a complaint, search for where they are right. Episode 312: George Lizos is a spiritual teacher, intuitive, author of Be the Guru and the #1 bestselling Lightworkers Gotta Work, co-creator of Elemental Healing™ and host of The Lit Up Lightworker podcast. He helps lightworkers to find their life purpose and work their light in real, palpable ways that create positive change in the world.   Show Notes: Watch this episode on YouTube!  https://www.youtube.com/maddymoontv It can be difficult to avoid feelings of persecution in environments like the current pandemic. Ask, “What does my inner child need? What am I responsible for to get out of this situation and get my autonomy back?” George wears a crown as a touchpoint to step into his feminine energy.  His default is acting from masculine energy, always pushing forward. The crowns can be a way of signaling and setting intention. His book Lightworkers Gotta Work - https://georgelizos.com/lightwork Purpose is to help lightworkers to balance their masculine and feminine energies. George was raised in Cyprus a very religious Christian environment. He struggled with the big questions of life from a young age, convinced something was wrong with him, and tried to gain acceptance by trying to match himself to people’s expectations. Homosexuality was still taboo when he realized he was gay at age 13. He responded by trying to “become” straight, hyper-aware of his behaviors. He contemplated suicide, including writing a note to his parents.   As soon as he made the decision to do so and “let go,” the solution became clear: Learn to love yourself exactly as you are.   "Something magical happens when you declare to the universe that you want to change: the universe comes in to support you." Through spirituality George learned self-love, eventually leading to writing his first book. This led to a busy, pushed, masculine lifestyle that was causing mental and physical distress. He did a past-life regression and discovered he had been a prostitute that was murdered by a client, causing him to suppress his feminine energy in future lives. Masculine and feminine energies are two sides of the same coin, so focusing completely on one abuses/ignores the other. Sex, Gender, Sexuality, and Energy Sex is biological; gender is social; sexuality is biological; energy flow within all these domains. Women tend have more feminine energy than men, and men tend to have more masculine energy than women, but it’s really aspects of the same thing that runs through all of us. Same-sex relationships can be challenging with this energy balance. Connecting with nature can help us rebalance our own energy that’s confounded by social/psychological issues. Nature emulates masculine and feminine without social labels through the energy of the seasons. “Bathing under cosmic light” to balance masculine/feminine.  Light from sun, moon, and stars is a reflection of our own inner light. The moon’s essence itself feminine energy; sun is masculine.  Moonlight is the balance of the two - the combination of the surface of the moon and light from the sun. Coaching and creating coaches should be difficult and focused on improving the world, not creating a sales downstream. Many coaches don’t have a clear sense on their “why,” their purpose. George reviews his life purpose, which he has written and posted so he sees it every single day (the who, what, how, why). The universe will support you, but there is work for us to put in, and it all starts with understanding our purpose. Episode 311: The global pandemic has resulted in many of us having to share our spaces with difficult triggering family members who may be activating the “old you” within us - aspects of ourselves or collections of behaviors that we associate with past trauma, or that we feel are holding us back. In this solo episode Madelyn explores the deep spiritual and psychological implications surrounding this dynamic, and offers tools and perspectives to reframe these interactions in the context of acceptance (both of ourselves and others) and how to use them to create and grow.   Show Notes:   Gene Keys by Richard Rudd - https://amzn.to/2VRzs7R World is embodying Gene Key 55 at this moment. All Gene Keys have "Shadow" (dark side) and "City" (light side/gift). Gene Key 55: Victimhood/Freedom This Gene Key also relates to the current White fragility The idea that anytime you are in the shadow, you are playing the role of victimhood is not always accurate. How to keep a high vibe with a low-vibe family? How to cope with a close relative who treats you like the "old version"? There is no old version of the self - false duality. There are aspects of ourselves that we shift between, and sometimes they will be ones that were more prevalent in the past. “We go into victimhood to prove that we're existing." We can acknowledge our traumas and experiences without them becoming self-defining. Sovereignty, agency, and self-determination is important - i.e. having your own place, domain. The benefits are exponential - the space creates more time to create, which creates more opportunity to pay for the space. Start with the question, "How is this affecting me?" We all have people in our lives that will reveal old versions of ourselves. Most important: You cannot control these triggering people and how they view you. You can only control your reaction. Disconnect from needing validation from those people. Being more aware and curious about what your "old you" is asking for or needing in those moments, and seek to provide it. "You do not have to hold everyone who is biological family as energetic family."   COACHING: receive personalized, 1:1 coaching from Maddy Moon to create your own feminine and masculine embodiment. Episode 309: Jedaya Barboza is a Tantric Shemite ROSE WOMB PRIESTESS OF THE DIVINE FEMININE. She empowers women to reclaim their birthrights of divinity, love, pleasure, harmony, sensuality, magnetism, and sovereignty through the ancient codes of the Magdalen Rose Womb Consciousness. Jedaya provides 1:1 mentorship, online and live retreats + facilitate workshops, trainings and courses. Show Notes: Madelyn will be posting videos of interviews to YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/maddymoontv Struggled with sharing YouTube channel because of old videos, asked her teacher if she should take them down. It's okay to not always resonate with your past selves, don't suppress or repress parts of yourself. It's Pussy Awareness Week! Connecting with Divine Feminine Energy is very potent during these times. Jedaya grew up with a very empowered woman, but she was also very religious. Felt Christinity was a cover for her deep inner witch embodiment, like a veil. Sex magick is largely being in the energy, not just penetration or actual literal sex. Everyone comes into the world through the energy of sexuality. No outside force or entity has the power to depress me, suppress me, oppress me. Jedaya works to help people transmute their stories and their trauma into empowerment. Sessions with Jedaya are about feeling seen, being heard, connecting with our true origins of self. When you suppress the feminine energy, you suppress life. Magdalene is an energy that any feminine or masculine soul can embody. There's been a "war on the womb" for centuries. More and more women are waking up and honoring their own states, being priestesses. Jedaya's path brought her to so many places in the world with so much beauty, and also so much abuse. Episode 310: In many ways the Internet has democratized the spread of ideas and given everyone a platform and a voice. Inevitably there will be times when we won't agree with these voices and opinions, and when that disagreement is shared publicly by others, "cancel culture" can easily develop, where large groups of people collectively pull support, usually centered around a controversial statement, pattern of behavior, or things in the past. In this episode Madelyn explores the distinction between standing up for our values, and the Ego-driven need for separation.   Show Notes:   Spotify and here on the website are the most reliable places to get the newest episodes of the Mind Body Musings Podcast - iTunes not always as reliable. Free will, trauma, judgement, greed, natural shortcomings interfere with our creative drive to create "heaven on Earth." Cancel culture: something happens that causes one to completely shut out a public figure they once respected. Cancel culture can be a way we skip over the hard work of compassion. Madelyn frequently gets contacted by followers communicating expectations that she has more of a social responsibility to use her platform in certain ways to spread awareness/calls to action. When you're in the public eye, when you're wrong, it's publicly wrong. Participation in cancel culture may be rooted not in altruism or enlightenment, but Ego, which thrives on separation. What is one moment in your life that learned something that you didn't know before that made you realize you needed to change your ways? What if that moment of yours was public? Evaluating whether your convictions are really coming from yourself, or absorbed via someone else's opinion in a comment. None of these ideas are intended to dismiss anyone's personal feelings, but an ask for broader awareness and gentleness. Ask permission before engaging in a dialogue, even with friends - when people say yes to something, they are no longer on the defense. Richard Rudd - The Gene Keys - https://amzn.to/2VFUAy3 In every Gene Key there is a light and a dark. Gene Key 30: Light is humility; darkness is arrogance. Episode 308: It can be extremely challenging to let go of control (in a healthy way) and the need for everything to be according to a strict plan. It's even more challenging to let the future unfold in these uncertain and turbulent times. The feminine/masculine spheres of control and surrender are not as simple as "feminine yielding" and "masculine control" - there is feminine control and masculine control, just as there is masculine yielding and feminine yielding. Show Notes: As an introvert, is finding it healthier to be in nature vs. in Brooklyn. It took trust to be led into a new living situation without a plan. If you struggle with being led, this is an invitation to notice how often you feel your heartspace tighten around a plan. What if you viewed your life as it time didn't exist? Let go of the idea of anything being final and live on a moment-to-moment basis. "When we start making promises about the future, we severely tighten the corset on life." What could be around the corner could be better. The masculine within you is the part that says, "I trust myself so deeply to get myself out of any mess, so I can say yes without diving deeper." Disempowered feminine: "I can't make plans. Plans are too hard for me. Can you make the plans for me?" or "I have to make all the plans. I can't trust anyone to do it." It's important to be both spiritual and relatable - balance of masculine-grounded/feminine-ethereal. Teachers who are both spiritual and relatable: Kendra Cunov - maddymoon.com/kendra-cunov/ Marya Stark - maddymoon.com/marya-stark/ Krishna Das - https://amzn.to/30J3Y71 Artists and creatives can be great teachers - ethereal from art, grounded if they can teach. You can practice with smaller things, like plans with friends, dates, etc. Eventually the practice will extend to bigger-picture events and decisions. A love that's truly meant for you and authentic will not need to come with white-knuckled promises to "Please stay." Every beginning comes with the promise of an ending. Episode 307: Mary Magdalene, one of the most important individuals in Christianity, is also one of the most misunderstood. Her powerful femininity and significance in Jesus's stories and teachings have been undermined for over a thousand years. Join Madelyn as she explores the teachings of Mary Magdalene, the Apostle to the Apostles, not the prostitute, in the context of today's feminist reawakening and her own Christian upbringing. Show notes:  Madelyn was named after Mary Magdalene. She had an oppressive/repressive patriarchal upbringing experience. Jesus was both fully divine and fully human Not a prostitute - declaration that she was came from Pope Gregory to undermine her teaching, and undermined women's capacity to be leaders. In 1969 the Catholic Church apologized for the fabrication. The path that Mary carves for us is that every single human being has the voice of the angels, and the voice of God, the voice of the Divine within themselves. The books omitted from the Bible focus on a personal connection with God not requiring an intermediary. It's our journey to believe in our truths. It's not our job to force other people to believe in these truths. Allow others to disagree with you. Seven powers that must be attained to ascend: darkness, craving, ignorance, longing for death, compulsion of range, enslavement to physical body, and the false peace of the flesh. These powers are not meant to be destroyed or obliterated. The path of love is that we're devoted to having this ascension within ourselves, which is actually a descent into the heart. What made Jesus who he was, was the fact that he we fully human and fully divine. Jesus honored his sex as a potent life force. Peter doubts Mary, that she was given teachings they were not. Episode 306: Relationships are complicated even when the partners are open and honest with each other - let alone if there is emotional abuse, manipulation, and secrets - like finding out your boyfriend had a wife and three kids. This episode is an intimate and revealing conversation Madelyn had on Julie Day's podcast, I Woke Up Like This. Together they explore Madelyn's experience of discovering a former boyfriend had a wife and kids - while they were dating. Come for the dramatic story - leave with the insights on love, trust, communication, and the transformative power of trauma. Show notes: Interview on I Woke Up Like This Podcast - Julie Day - thejulieday.com/i-woke-up-like-this.html The first Sisu Society call has happened - a big success! - maddymoon.com/sisu-society The Prerequisites to Ecstasy - amazon.com/Prerequisites-Ecstasy-No-Nonsense-Really-Create At the time this happened, Maddy wasn't questioning and second guessing quite as much. Was completely in masculine side, but disembodied, dissociated from feelings. Everything was a "checklist." Maddy and this person met on a dating app. Relationship was turbulent from the start. Coping with manipulative gaslighting behaviors with self-doubt and needs avoidance. Found out about wife and kids accidentally via Facebook. "If you had not found out the truth, you would have had the relationship you wanted." Marriage - wanting to feel safe and have needs met. Marriage is commoditized, particularly in America. "This is something for me to learn how to love." All knowledge of attachment styles was born in this relationship Book: "Attached" - https://amzn.to/2oyre0R When you break a bone, you can go to the doctor, but there aren't necessarily such tools easily apparent in traumatic breakups. We only learn to navigate attachment trauma with tenderness towards ourselves with experience. Any future similar situation can now be informed by this. Goal for all human beings, especially women, is this idea and lifestyle of sovereignty. When we say yes to love, we also say yes to heartbreak. From victimhood to empowerment. If you're always a victim every time darkness happens, you're not going to be able to get to that place of new life. The relationship wasn't love; it was addiction. The experience helped Maddy discover key components of her core self. Every single feeling is sacred. Every single emotion is a teacher. Episode 305: Mike Johnson is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he started a career at a young age as a recording and touring musician with his band Shyne Factory and later Shelter with Thieves. He worked in festival and stage management, video and music production and he owned and operated a music studio. Mike suffered from severe depression starting in his early teens and his "rock-star" lifestyle easily led him to alcohol abuse and eventually a very serious drug addiction . In 2013 Mike hit a rock bottom and decided enough is enough. He admitted himself to a 1 year intake addiction treatment program in Edmonton Canada called “Our House” where he dedicated his life to healing and learning everything about addiction and concurrent diseases. After losing his best friend to an overdose, Mike saw how insufficient the western treatments alone are, and became laser focused on finding more effective ways to help himself and other addicts truly heal. In his research, he came across Dr. Gabor Mates' work treating addiction patients with Ayahuasca. In 2015 Mike packed his bags and headed to Peru for 3 months to work with Ayahuasca and began dieting master plants in the Shipibo tradition. He continued working with Ayahuasca in Canada and Peru and in January 2017 his path led him to the Ayahuasca Foundation 10 week curandero initiation course where he found his place and his life purpose as a healer. Today, Mike Johnson can be found facilitating plant medicine ceremonies, offering pre-ceremony intention sessions as well as post-ceremony integration. He continues to be a creative being by writing music, connecting with nature and helping people find their healing path. Show notes: This is a special episode with Madelyn's partner Mike Johnson. Feminine grit is required to be a feminine being. "Be a broken record for love." Mike's most consistent muse in life is music. Focused on recording and touring with a successful band, but a part of him was unhappy and lifestyle led into addiction. Mike finally sought help and went to a treatment center. Mike needed more than medications prescribed as an easy "fix" to addiction. After his friend passed away in treatment, Mike discovered plant medicine and Dr. Gabor Mates's work bringing patients to Peru to work with Ayahuasca. Every plant has a spirit. Every plant has light, and every plant has dark. Plant diets establish a relationship with these plants. "No one is flawed. It's just part of your journey to figure out these things you need to get through." Ayahuasca is a diagnostic tool and requires guidance and participation - cleaning the body. Experiences are so different from person to person. Anything worthwhile in life that has light, comes with shadow. Madelyn's relationship with Ayahuasca wasn't able to develop until she had an experience of darkness with it. You can hear Madelyn further discuss her Ayahuasca experience with Will Siu: maddymoon.com/will-siu/ Challenges and difficulties performing with bands on stage were like training for the ceremony space. When considering Ayahuasca ceremony, Madelyn discovered it was important to be heart-centered and have help in integration sessions to truly process the healing. Episode 301: In this episode, Madelyn talks about an amazing book, The Missing Element, that she just received from a previous podcast guest, Astrologer - Debra Silverman. This book discusses the four elements — air, earth, water, and fire and how they affect your inner world. Many of us are on a quest to learn more about ourselves and others, and perhaps now more than ever — when we're deep into the Coronavirus quarantine, it's a great time to go within and learn more about how you function as an individual. The Missing Element was written for all of us who have ever felt that something was “wrong” with us, that we are odd and outside the norm. This book helps you to see beyond your perceived flaws to find your 'true' self, your gifts and your place in this world. Episode 298: This is Madelyn's second episode where she discusses the Coronavirus and the stay-in-place quarantine. It feels silly to talk about anything else during these vulnerable times. Today, she's coming at you with applicable thoughts for your life outside of the quarantine. She dives right in on how the masculine and feminine containers are being affected, not only for us individually, but for the planet. It's not a secret that our world is lacking grounding and footing and it's impacting us all. In this episode, you'll learn how you can show up and give yourself the structure that you're craving. You'll also learn Madelyn's tangible advice for the quarantine and what her daily routine consists of. You'll also hear why it's okay to not feel super productive right now and how to give yourself a break.  One thing's for sure — we're all in this together. We're feeling the same things — the ups, the downs, and the 'all-arounds'. We've never had as much emotional polarity in our lives, right? It's true that not much is constant right now and this episode helps us to be okay with that. Show notes: "When our world is lacking grounding and footing, it’s really challenging to go as deep as we'd like in other areas (business, relationships, etc)." Episode 297: Julie Day is a Spiritual Counselor and Teacher, Astrologer, and Podcast Creator/Host. Julie is fascinated by the process of waking up while living inside a human suit. She graduated from the Agape International Spiritual Center where she was licensed as a Spiritual Practitioner in 2010. She spent 9 years immersed in the study and practice of modern mysticism and the evolution of consciousness, learning how to access mind-blowing mystical truths…while simultaneously having to deal with and eventually embrace her clumsy, messy human. Finding the holiness within her humanness became her greatest teacher, healer and muse. In 2019, Julie created her podcast, I Woke Up Like This, where she interviews fellow seekers on their biggest awakening experience, and all the light they found through that journey.   Whether through private sessions, virtual courses, or her podcast, Julie's most sincere offering is always to help others learn how to love their human and trust that whatever is in front of them can be their sacred portal to knowing more of love, joy and freedom. Show notes: Blending "Work You" with "Real You": Episode here: https://maddymoon.com/blending/  Why we all need to forget the need to be “good”. Episode 294:  Do you have a hard time owning and blending all of the parts and pieces that make up you? If so, you're not alone. Many of us shut down the parts of us that we don't think are appropriate for the current situation we're in. We feel uncomfortable wearing red lipstick to the office. We feel shameful for having pics of our gurus on our desk for fear if someone sees them and thinks we're a weirdo. We hide our truest self, every single day. Here's the thing — doing the thing and being seen doing it, liberates you. And more importantly, it makes you more available to love and to be loved. More of you is available. By connecting to all of the parts and pieces that make you, you... you soften something in your body that simply becomes magnetic. Blending the feminine and masculine energies of who you truly are makes you electric.  Because at the end of the day, it's YOU who thinks you're too snobbish. It's YOU who thinks too loud. It's YOU who thinks you're too intelligent. It's YOU who thinks you're the black sheep. The moment you realize those truths, you can't turn back. You all a sudden know that if you think that, then it is up to YOU to make a choice to change it. All a sudden you're responsible and everything is in your hands. This is where healing gets done — when you reveal a part of you that you've been hiding for all of these years. This episode will teach you how to own who you are and the importance of blending the "work" you with the "real" you. Show notes: Madelyn’s juicy, seductive ritual of letting pleasure lead her for 24 hours. Why Madelyn is over the traditional business hustle and the discouraging feeling of overwhelm.  “It’s up to me to allow myself to step back.” “Let your feminine heart - your yearning to let go, to run the show for a bit.” How to start training your masculine with meditation and breathwork. How to create harmony where you have a choice in what energy (masculine/feminine) you lead with.  The reframe with feeling judged and how to release those stories that we tell ourselves. How to create more ownership to make a different, more empowering choice.  Fun fact: Egypt is the #1 feminine country. The sobering thought that you are going to pass and how Madelyn uses it as the biggest motivating factor. “Any outward focus is you’re really trying to numb the inward experience.” More of you is available to love and be loved when you’re taking ownership of your desires.  When you connect your heart to your yoni lips something softens in your body that is magnetic.  How to become more available and open yourself to all the versions of you. “You can’t truly love all that life provides if you can’t love all that you provide.” “Everything is a reflection — start taking ownership of that reflection.” The Embodied Retreat with Jamie Wollrab: maddymoon.com/events Connect with Maddy:  Facebook: https://facebook.com/moonfitness/ Instagram: https://instagram.com/madelynmoon/ Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes: http://maddymoon.com/itunes Download my Four Favourite Feminine Embodiment Practices: https://maddymoon.com/freegift Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Episode 292: Madelyn Moon plants her feet and deepens her breath for this episode on embodied confrontation with your loved ones. She starts this episode by expressing how to access the Universe's bank account and that there's absolutely no limit to the amount of money or love that you can have in your life unless YOU are creating an upper limit for yourself. And if you think that you are, she shares some resources to bust through your self-imposed limits. She talks about how to allow love outside of marriage and why the "choose-no-man" masculine cleanse she did led her to a deeper understanding of deep intimacy — an intimacy with those she doesn't even personally know.  She's playing with how much love she can let in, as well as the many different types of love there is. She invites you to do the same. How much more love can you let in? She discusses her top 5 ego-busting tools for embodied confrontation. Being disembodied is what leads to explosions, resentments, passive-aggressiveness and fear. Things get messy when we're not in our bodies. We make up stories in our heads about what something does or doesn't mean and our ego revs up. These tips are sure to help you handle conflict with more ease and grace moving forward.
