Katie Schomberg is the Rosewater Healer. She's a modern medicine woman, a psychic, intuitive, guide and creator of The Healing Farm, a small farm-to-apothecary healing experience in the Smokey Mountains. More than just a cultivation of plants, it's a healing container and a transformative space where you can let go and be free to learn to live authentically. She shared her personal story of healing and reclamation with us, demonstrating that returning home is an inside > out process, that we have to go internal and begin to feel in order to remember who we are. Katie's journey into herblism and holistic wellness, utilizing medical astrology and her gifts of one-on-one guidance through her Complete Woman program to help women walk home, inspire us to our cores. Ellen just received her first Medicine Box packed with herbal goodies and tools to support her this autumn – the love felt through these herbal products is deep. And Katie's personalized flower essences and teas show us a new way to look at what it means to hold space, to be present for another. Lisa Wimberger is the creator of Neurosculpting®, a trademarked process of meditation involving five easy steps to relax the body while focusing the mind for stress regulation, pattern rewiring, and performance optimization. With Jody Levy (ep 61), she co-created the NeuroPraxis App, a series of meditation modules that support wellness, calm, and daily balance. Lisa created this modality out of her own personal desperate need to heal her trauma. On her 15th birthday, she was struck by lightning, which sent her already present freeze trauma response into overdrive. She began to have life-threatening seizures in which she would flatline and go through excruciating resuscitations. During her last episode, she vowed to find a solution as she knew she would not make it back if it occurred again. This prompted her deep dive into the world of neuroscience education. The result was the creation of Neurosculpting®, a form of meditation that targeted an unknown trigger for her condition and rehearsed a new script so she could circumvent another episode. Lisa's story floored us. And her explanation of how Neurosculpting® works made us realize just how revolutionary this modality is, and how relevant it is as a tool for our current climate rampant with fear, anxiety and stress. Find out more about Lisa and Neurosculpting® at neurosculpting.com and on Instagram @neurosculpting. Download the NeuroPraxis app here.

Our jaws were on the floor as we heard Ashley Easter tell her story of growing up in a fundamentalist Baptist family and homeschooled under the Christian Patriarchy, Quiverfull and Stay At Home Daughter movements. Guided by her strength and intuition, she was able to survive and escape the cults she had been indoctrinated in, and is now an empowerment coach and trained abuse victim advocate, and founder of The Courage Conference, an internationally attended abuse survivor conference. She is also the Vice President of "Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests," the largest and oldest clergy sexual abuse victim advocacy organization. Ashley's story of surviving a religious fundamentalist cult hit us both so deeply as we recognized cult-like behavior in so many non-religious organizations – corporations, social groups, families, and particularly the spiritual community, where many teachers are treated as untouchable and unquestionable gurus that can do no wrong. And Ashley is passionate about teaching others how to identify, connect with, and listen to their intuition so that they can develop greater discernment when it comes to the choices that they make in their lives from business to personal relationships. Ashley's FREE Intuitive AF workshop is August 30 - September 1, 2021. Sign up on her site – ashleyeaster.com. How do you define "rest" and "restfulness"? Ours is culture that glorifies the hustle and burnout heroism. A culture that glorifies the myth that the harder you work, the more you gain. And then we wake up to find ourselves in an empty loop of workaholism, stress and growing dissatisfaction. Flory Huang is the creator of The Rested Revolution, which "rejects both burnout culture glamorized as The Hustle and the colonial capitalist harm fixated on productivity and output at the cost of the whole humxn." We talked about... Charlene Chang is a multidimensional artist whose creative studio is an altar in devotion to her being and becoming. As an intuitive designer and lightworker of spaces, she invites the unseen into her creative process to alchemize and activate spaces as a living canvas for remembrance, healing and transformation. Fundamental to her approach and mission is the understanding that the land is part of the same energetic fabric of our home and ourselves. Her studio, êtrechar, navigates spaces on residential (individual) and commercial (collective) levels, through the lens of energetics and ecology to radically change the way in which we engage with our spaces and ultimately, our environment.
