Its Remembrance Sunday, where we take time to remember those that came before us who gave up so much for our freedoms, and the freedoms of others that are enjoyed around the world.   And its also our 38th Church Anniversary. We have existed as Avenue Road Baptist Church for 38 years, but our roots go back 146 years, as a group of two churches that joined many years ago.  As we celebrate our Anniversary, we look at Paul's words to the Philippian church in Phil. 3:12-14 and talk about what it means to celebrate our past and at the same time look to the future.
