Today I have the absolute pleasure of chatting with Ghina Halabi, who has managed to merge really powerful disciplines together — her career lies at the intersection of space science, entrepreneurship and education. She has done a lot of really interesting things. Ghina was the first person to get a PhD in astrophysics from a Lebanese university. To make sure she isn't the last, she founded She Speaks Science, a multi-lingual enterprise promoting STEM and women in STEM with storytelling, funded by Cambridge University and International Astronomical Union. With Design Thinking, she developed and led an entrepreneurship programme for the Cambridge Judge Business School. Independently, she consults for businesses to bring space science into high-end technology and she also coaches on innovation storytelling. Ghina has given keynotes on astrophysics, leadership, entrepreneurship and women in STEM at international conferences and global forums including TEDx and the United Nations, and has been profiled as a subject matter expert in the media including BBC Future, journals, newspapers and podcasts. In this episode, you will learn about:
