Co-Dependence is an unhealthy pattern of behavior where a person regularly takes on too much responsibility and ultimately enables the irresponsible or reckless behavior(s) or poor choices of another individual(s) as a result. Co-Dependence can and often does cause harm to all involved inside of the co-dependent relationship. This unhealthy behavior is learned over time.
