We think we are being good listeners by providing unsolicited feedback. How about when we talk to clients on the phone for work? We don’t realize the agendas we are pushing when it comes to making a sale or having a conversation. There are so many ways to ruin a potentially good conversation. What if we told you the best way to communicate, is to not talk at all? Walk away from today’s lesson better off than how you were when you arrived. When you make a lot of phone calls, you get to experiment and see what works and what doesn't work. Do one amazing thing today! Communicate without an agenda. LISTEN in conversations. The conversation you had in your head with how you need to talk to people isn’t the right way to go about discussing things with others. You get disappointed when you don’t meet your agendas, but there doesn’t need to be any. If you want to serve people, get more input, knowledge, and experience. The only people who point out typos on websites either proofread, or will never buy something. The most important thing to having a quality conversation is not talking.
