By Edify Studios
Clair Marie Wholean AIA, NCARB, LEED AP is our next guest on the Edify Studios Podcast, and we're elated to have her on the show. Next to all of the impressive acronyms on the backend of her name, Clair Marie has amazing origin story of her path to architecture industry. From designing & selling her own line of African textile pattern Keds shoes as kid - through being musically influenced by her fathers network of musicians like: Phish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. Of which eventually showed her that the path to make money balanced with purpose was to return to her ancestral roots and become an architect. Clair Marie introduces us to how her training at SOM | Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP & Smith Group, in their NYC offices, honed her skills - working in the Technical Group at SOM & on Public Works projects at SG - she discovered the finer parts of architecture. She shares her experience of working for these larger architecture firms, of which motivated her to open her newest venture of Archfina & Archneura, ultimately creating & implementing her 'Why' - The Building Quality Index (BQI).-We'd invite you to reach out to Clair Marie and share this episode, and subscribe!LinkedIN: http://bit.ly/ClairMarieLinkedIn Instagram: http://bit.ly/ClairMarieINSTAFacebook: http://bit.ly/ClairMarieFB WEBSITES:- Archneura: http://bit.ly/ClairMarieArchneura- Archfina: http://bit.ly/ClairMarieArchfina EDIFY STUDIOS LINKS:Opening Sponsor: http://bit.ly/VitrumGlassiTunes: http://bit.ly/EDIFYITUNESGoogle Play: http://bit.ly/EdifyGooglePlaySpotify: http://bit.ly/EdifySpotifySticher: http://bit.ly/EdifyStitcher-Twitter: http://bit.ly/EdifyTwitterInstagram: https://lnkd.in/gtPMgCdLinkedIn: https://lnkd.in/gP_3TyNFacebook: http://bit.ly/EdifyFB NOTE: This description contains affiliate links that allow you to find the items mentioned in this video and support the channel at no cost to you.
