In order to pull himself out of his depression, he had an idea… He decided to write down one simple pleasure in life that he was grateful for each day for the next 1,000 days in a row. The result, was a little blog called 1000 Awesome Things, and it would change his life, and impact the lives of millions around the world. It would eventually lead to The Book of Awesome which has sold millions of copies, a TED talk with over 2.6 million views, and a new mission in life, which is to bring your personal happiness to the forefront of your life. And that is why he joins us here today. A few years ago, Neil fell in love again and got married, and on the airplane home from his honeymoon, his wife told him she was pregnant, and Neil began writing again. The result was a 300-page letter written to his unborn son sharing the nine secrets to finding true happiness, and that letter just released in the form a book titled, The Happiness Equation.
