Click Here to Watch the Interview & Get More Info: Kurt Chang started his studies of art under her grandmother in Taiwan using Chinese watercolor to do paintings where he learned the basics of art before even knowing that animation was a career. Then he began his professional training in Las Vegas Academy doing a visual arts program where he learned more about fine arts and learned many traditional methods for painting like oil, acrylic, watercolor and more. Then for four years he studied character animation and story art in the digital media department at Otis College Art & Design. Now he's a freelance artist working from home and he keeps painting on the side for fun. Today Kurt shares with us his experience on learning animation and becoming a better artist and the transition from being a traditional painter to becoming an animator.
