The Jamaicans I Met Today are the Most Positive Thinking People I've Met in a Long Time

By Joey Little

Spent an entire day on a Jamaican foodie tour in Ocho Rios, Jamaica but the best part of the adventure wasn't the food. The jerk chicken, goat stew, pumpkin rice, rasta pasta, and all of the other dishes I consumed today were fantastic, but it was the chance to meet two Jamaicans that gave me a great perspective to what it was like growing up and living in Jamaica. I took the opportunity to talk with Sashanie on today's podcast episode. Sashanie is born and raised in Jamaica and has never left the island. Not because Sashanie doesn't want to travel outside Jamaica, she doesn't leave because it's just not that easy to get a visa. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
