Shea Patterson's transfer appeal expected to be approved as early as Friday
The Michigan Insider reported on Thursday afternoon that the NCAA is expected to grant former five-star quarterback Shea Patterson’s appeal to be immediately eligible to play for the Wolverines in the 2018 season, with an announcement coming as early as Friday. Patterson transferred from Ole Miss to Michigan this winter and asked the NCAA for a waiver of the year-in-residence transfers customarily have to serve before taking the field.
