Firemen...true love...loss… These were just a few of the themes explored by singer-songwriter Aynsley Saxe on her first album, Take Me As I Am, released in April, 2013 to a fire-capacity crowd at Hugh's Room in Toronto.
With a firetruck welcoming guests at the door, along with a 9-piece band, the album release party garnered not only the firemen's attention. Her feature single from her first album, "Stop, Drop & Roll (The Fireman Song)", was released in November 2012 as a CD single & free digital download. Even before the recording was finished, its teaser preview on YouTube attracted over 850 views and a tv commercial licensing deal for the Saskatchewan Professional Fire Fighters Calendar.
Now, Saxe's latest single Beautiful Tomorrow is set for release in April 2019 for Earth Day. Inspired by Irish author Lorna Byrne's book "Love from Heaven" as well as a whale that was found with 80 plastic bags in its stomach, Beautiful Tomorrow has an environmental focus and features 20 youth singing background vocals.  With a hopeful, yet urgent message, Saxe's intention for the song is to stir the hearts of listeners in order to promote positive change for our planet.  More at AynsleySaxe.com
