While in high school, his mother transported the entire family to Atlanta, Georgia. He quickly fell in love with the south. In Atlanta, he maintained his passion for music.
In 2015, he recorded a project called The Pharaoh and released it on all platforms. After receiving rave reviews and a great response from it, the lightbulb went off in his head. He loved making music, but loved overseeing projects and the business even more.
In 2017, He rebirthed his label and changed the name from Street Related to Linked Up. Being a true CEO, he realized early on the importance of owning and maintaining his masters. He remastered and re-released old and new material on all the digital streaming sites. To his surprise, he learned there was an audience for his music quickly gaining thousands of streams.
Gattie Tha King isn’t just focused on music. He has a podcast on his YouTube channel Linked Up Empire called Linked Up Love Life Podcast. He established Linked Up Clothing available on his website linkedupempire.com. He’s wrapping up his first mini series "Urban Therapy". He’s also finishing up his book "Thru A Kings Eyes" set to be released this year.
