Deriving from folk roots and a scope of other personal influences, Icelandic singer-songwriter Àsgeir is an artist who approaches emotional expression with sincerity and vulnerability.
His father, Einar Georg Einarsson, is an accomplished writer that helped inspire much of Àsgeir’s perspective and work, including co-writing the debut song off of his forthcoming album, "Living Water", which serves as a paean to Iceland’s astonishing natural resources, and the urgent need to protect them.
Àsgeir's third album ‘Bury The Moon’–or ‘Sátt’, to give the record its Icelandic title– arrives Feb. 7, 2020.
