Amir Pierre Patterson known professionally as DaRealAP, is an independent, American rapper and Songwriter.
He is Best known for his combination of rapping and hard toned singing. Being a victim of depression, DaRealAP wanted to create a better way to cope with life. Growing up in Fayetteville, NC while being raised by his grandmother and mother in an area where trouble was easy to find but hard to get out of, AP turned to music as his escape. He uses his real life struggles of heartbreak and pain as inspiration for his music.
