Combining her love for artists like Dylan, Orbison and Lennon with the more Nordic sounds of artists like Lykke Li, she has developed a sound fevered with melancholy and gentle guitar-riffs. Her vocals are always in focus, and her presence combines a quirkiness with the seriousness of her personal truths.
During 2015 and 2016 Hanne Fjeldstad released several songs, produced by Kenneth Ishak.
The songs have gained attention from, among others NRK Urørt, which led to the appearance on several Norwegian festivals. In the autumn of 2016 she was also a featured Red Bull Sound Select artist at Parkteatret in Oslo.
In March 2017 Hanne played three concerts during by:Larm. The Norwegian newspaper «Dagsavisen» featured Hanne as one of by:Larm’s most exciting new artists.
While her latest latest single Down Down Down was on Bylarm’s official spotifyplaylist, the single was shared so many times that it ended on top of Spotify's Norway viral 50 list.
