Rock band Relicseed was founded in 2004 by four Latvian musicians Mārtiņš Rudzītis (guitars), Ieva Strazdiņa (bass guitar), Mārtiņš Daknis (drums) and Edgars Rakovskis (guitars, vocals). Throughout their career, E. Rakovskis has remained the only persistent member of the band. As the main singer and songwriter Rakovskis is considered to be the creative force within the group through all of its history. Relicseed began international touring after accepting the deal presented by Lord Bishop Rocks in early 2011. In September musicians played in UK and Germany in support of their debut release “60 Minūtes Sapņa”, but in December took its path towards the US market by headlining the “Metallibash 2011: 3 Decades of Damage” in San Francisco, California. The band released their second studio album “Slaughterhouse” in 2014. In support of this record, Relicseed went on tour and visited Estonia, Lithuania, Denmark, UK, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Switzerland, Croatia, Netherlands, USA, and Japan.
