Feryl is a music artist from Southampton, UK that has performed on stages across the whole of Europe.
Since being mentored by Roy Perestrello (Sony/Universal Music) he was guided into writing ‘The Next Level’, his debut album. This was aimed at the Asian market and set a president for Feryl to think outside of the box when making ‘pop’, combining musical influences and securing him the Akademia Award for “Best Funk Album, 2015”. Being mentored saw him study the craft of writing music and putting together a show, often seeing visual elements being brought into live staging and working with imagery within songs.
His energetic performances and unique vocal that spans multiple stylings are what set him apart, though his voice is reminiscent of Darren Hayes and George Michael. After spending some time in California, France and Ibiza, some life lessons and experiences shaped his music and vision, resulting in 2018 E.P ‘RELEASE’- which highlights the pressures of social media, mental health and the loss of a loved one, issues that touch us all but are sometimes too afraid to speak about.
2020 sees a new era for Feryl as he embraces all that life has to offer, rolling with the rough and the smooth and being grateful to the Universe for teaching him to ‘accept what we can’t change and focus on what we can’.
His music is influenced by The Weeknd, Post Malone, David Bowie and Mark Ronson.
