Ximena Sariñana


Mexican actress and singer, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco on October, 1985.
She decided to start, in 2007, her solo career, releasing her debut album “Mediocre”. With her firts single Vidas Paralelas all over the radio, she certified gold record in Mexico, won as new artist on the MTV Latin America awards, and was nominated for best latin rock, urban or alternative album at the Grammys and for best new artist and best alternative song at the Latin Grammys.
In 2009 she participated in the soundtrack of the movies Paradas Continuas and The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
In 2011 she presented her crossover english language album “Ximena Sariñana” giving her the opportunity to play in scenarios from festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza and the LAMC in New York.
She has had the opportunity to collaborate with artists as Jason Mraz, Miguel Bosé, Ana Torroja, Los Ángeles Azules, Natalia Lafourcade, Volován, Jarabe de Palo, among others, and be the opening act for Coldplay, Sara Bareilles y Juanes.
She has participated for two seasons as a judge in México Tiene Talento, Mexican version of America's Got Talent.
She is currently on tour, promoting her latest album “No Todo Lo Puedes Dar” with which she has tread the grounds of festivals like Estereo Picnic in Colombia, with artists such as Florence and The Machine, Noel Gallagher and Alabama Shakes.
