That step has indeed taken Sherry quite a long way.To date, her journey has led to three Top 40 hits from her Sophomore CD, A BEAUTIFUL LIFE: “What A Day To Shake A Heartache,” the title-track duet with Country icon Crystal Gayle, and her sassy toe tapper “Girls Will Be Girls.”
The vivacious vocalist made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2013 when she and Crystal performed their hit duet "Beautiful Life" for excited fans in Music City.
A native of Southern, New Jersey, Sherry now splits her time between her home state and the bright lights of Nashville, Tennessee. Currently Sherry's been recording her third studio album “These Are The Nights” in Nashville with Crystal's son Christos Gatzimos in the producers chair.
“I am so proud of this record,” Sherry states. “I relate to the songs and they resonate with my audiences.” The semi-autobiographical mix runs the gamut from light-hearted to soul-searching, but consistent throughout are the heart-felt vocals of a New Jersey girl who is working hard to make it to the top. For Sherry Lynn, there is no turning back. She’s well on her way – and that first step is far behind her now.
