Ezequiel de Lima, also known as Ivory Tusk, is a singer-songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina. After recording his second EP in Nashville, TN in 2016, the following year he decided to travel and independently tour Europe for the first time, with just his voice and his guitar.
After a successful first tour through the old continent, with accomplishments such as opening for Thomas Dybdahl in Vienna, performing at different Sofar Sounds and festivals, he moved to Barcelona as his homebase for this year. 2018 finds him touring extensively for the support of his latest EP "Rising Lights", while presenting new unreleased songs. He sings on the diverse introspective facets of our cyclical existence: solitude, anxiety, ambitions and disappointments, fleeting bliss, freedom and the deep relationship with nature and oneself. Inspired by artists such as The Tallest Man on Earth, Jose Gonzalez and Daniel Norgren, his style features extensive rhythmic finger-picking, alternate tunings and evocative and contemplative lyrics. Always in motion, as a reflection of our inner selves.
