Born and raised in Toronto, Annabelle was immersed in the eclectic Montreal arts scene from the mid-90s to the early 2000s. During this time, she self-produced and released two EPs, and two full-length albums under the label MQGV. In 2006, she joined the Jennys and released the album 'Firecracker', on which she wrote four songs, and toured the world. In 2008, she returned to her solo career and has since released three studio albums and one live release. Her two co-writes with Cockburn appear on his JUNO-winning album “Small Source of Comfort”. She is currently working on her seventh studio album, featuring cross-cultural collaborations with Uruguayan tango and jazz manouche musicians.
