Raised in a Middle Eastern household, Krista developed an ear for dynamic vocals and appealing melodies. At age 14, she joined a band with close friends with whom she fostered her art and performed countless gigs for five years. Lead singer, keyboardist, and cajon player of the group, Krista performed at venues like the Troubadour and Viper Room. Meanwhile, at Huntington Beach High School, Krista was part of the Music Media Entertainment Technology program of the Academy for the Performing Arts, through which she cultivated her songwriting and performing skills, and discovered her interest in production.
In June 2016, Krista released her debut EP, "Bittersweet." She wrote and co-produced the release with Mike Willson and Carson Louis. The following November, Krista worked with Arc North to create "Meant To Be," a single she sang and co-wrote, which has now amassed over 11 million streams on Spotify, alone. She has worked with Tim Atlas, Jorg Huttner, among others, and continues to work on her own projects while also lending her voice and writing to collaborations. Though infatuated with various pockets of music, Krista has found her own sound and is excited to showcase it through her upcoming releases.
