Ilaria Pilar Patassini was born in Rome, from an Etruscan father and a mother native of the forests of Costa Rica.
She has published four records, Luna in arieteL'amore è dove vivoSartoria italiana fuori catalogo, Femminile Singolare, along with several other studio collaborations.
Songs on her albums have been written for her and with her by artists such as Bungaro, Pacifico, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi, Sandro Luporini, Franco Piana, Joe Barbieri, Tony Canto, and author Fabio Stassi.
Animated by both an academic and free roaming spirit (she’s a graduate of the Conservatorio in Canto and Repertori Vocali da Camera), her musical path soon intertwined with jazz, songwriting and the spoken word.
Since 2014, she has collaborated with guitarist and composer Michael Occhipinti and with the Italian-Canadian group The Sicilian Jazz Project.
She has contributed to the record Muorica alongside clarinetist Don Byron. In the last years, she went on tour in Italy and Canada, playing for important stages and clubs.
In the 5 years between 2005 and 2010, she has been a multiple-time finalist and winner in several national music competitions with a focus on songwriting and performance (Musicultura, Premio Bindi, Premio Tenco, Premio Lunezia, Premio Bianca d’Aponte).
Since 2015, she has worked as a teacher in Stage Performance at the Academy Officina Pasolini in Rome. As an author, radio host and singer, she has collaborated with Radio Svizzera Italiana (RSI).
