Jimmy Nash may have started singing at 8 years old, but his journey into music didn’t truly begin until 25 when he met his manager, and now wife, Andra.
Nash says, “I grew up in Nashville, and had always written Country, I love writing Country, but Andra introduced me to everything from Roots Reggae, to the very playlist friendly sound of Zero 7. With new sounds in my ears, I am fine tuning ways to incorporate all kinds of music and instruments, leaving behind those 'genre' borders!" Andra introduced Jimmy's music to two of her most talented producer friends, Todd Hannigan and Peter Wade, they have the best ears in town!! Hannigan's work with The Malloy Brothers and Jack Johnson, and Peter Wade with Brooke Candy, Kylie Minogue and Jennifer Lopez.
Andra played both producers some of Nash’s songwriting since diverging strictly from Country and he got lucky! Hannigan produced “The Road To 33”, it was featured as “New & Noteworthy” on iTunes, and the first single, “More Than Crazy”, was licensed for ABC Family’s “Jane By Design.” Wade produced Nash's more electronic tracks including "Dream" and "Sad Song" as well as secured him a feature on Purple Disco Machine's "Walls" which has well over 1 millions streams.
Nash’s latest releases, “One Night In Brooklyn" and the upcoming "Don't You Wanna" w/Rendo, is a culmination of all his experiences, and collaborations over the past 6 years, we hope you enjoy!!
