Soulful New Zealand-based pop tunesmith Greg Johnson's boots first hit the stage with The Greg Johnson Set in 1989.
A lover of all things pop, Johnson began writing his own material, releasing Vine Street Stories, which yielded four Top 20 singles. Chinese Whispers and Sea Breeze Motel followed with similar results, and in 2002 Johnson relocated to Los Angeles, where he recorded Here Comes the Caviar which had multiple Radio Hits including the worldwide radio hit "Save Yourself" . An award winning songwriter, including the prestigious APRA Silver Scroll Award Johnson continues to record and release material and has released 11 Studio albums up to his latest "Swing The Lantern" 2015 and his 2017 EP "Low Frequency Word" Probably best known for his engaging live shows (mostly in New Zealand where he has a large loyal following) his reputation as a veteran Artist and one of New Zealand's best loved songwriters is growing with each passing year.
