London born and based R&B singer/songwriter Alice D grew up surrounded by music.
Her mother is singer/songwriter, Sara Dallin from Bananarama and her father was a dancer [Michael Jackson, Tina Turner], so you could say she has music in her blood.
Alice is carving out a name for herself within the music industry with a number of releases under her belt, exploring many genres over the years, ranging from R&B to EDM.
In 2017, Alice released her first independent single "I Don't Owe You" that she co-wrote with Eddie Jenkins (The Streets, Example). This song showcased Alice's dulcet tones, her lyrical ability & was played on "BBC Music Introducing" in London.
Having taken influence from artists such as Aaliyah, Brandy, Kelela & Banks, Alice D released her first EP “NARCISSUS” with her good friend and long-term collaborator Oscar Scheller [Mabel, Rina Sawayama, Arlo Parks] in December 2018 to great reviews, with Spindle Magazine declaring Alice D as "the prolific songwriter we need."
Her first offering of 2019 was "Offline," a vibrant RnB track with a punchy message about the downfalls of social media and technology as a whole.
Alice D is back in 2020 with her single "Forever Mine,” that champions self-love, taken off her second soulful EP "LIONESS” that was released in April 2020.
Eager to stay creative during lockdown, Alice teamed up with producer, “Big Pretty” & together they created Alice’s new 70s inspired single, “Closer” that is due for release 24th July 2020.
