Meanwhile, his last, Annie Mac premiered release, ‘ Acid Summer’ out via Weapons, was played on BBC Radio 1 for five weeks in a row by Annie <g class="gr_ gr_64 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Style multiReplace" id="64" data-gr-id="64">Mac ,</g> Monki, Danny Howard, Phil Taggart. It was first heard during The Black Madonna’s coveted main stage closing set at Sonar Festival and has since picked up a mass of tastemaker support from Erol Alkan, Leftfield, James Zabiela, Rob Da Bank, Eagles & Butterflies, M.A.N.D.Y, Mumbai Science to name a few, earning a place on the Cool Cuts Top 20.
A similar response came straight off the bat with his debut self release on vinyl & digital, ‘Fairground’ , which included a KDA remix and received BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra support from heavyweights Annie Mac, Monki, B Traits, Toddla T, Phil Taggart, Shadow Child, DJ support right across the board from DJ EZ to Tim Green to Flume to Horse Meat Disco, love from Mixmag, Clash, Wonderland and 150,000 + Spotify plays.
With two forthcoming remixes for Maya Jane Coles and remixes for KDA, Nimmo and Wax Wings dropping early this year, 2018 is looking bright.
