In 2012 her vocals for Netsky’s instrumental track ‘Puppy’ made it one of his biggest hits – ‘We Can Only Live Today’ they renamed it. Billie didn’t have to think twice when he asked her on tour with his live band. One of those moments when you simply don’t have a choice.
In 2015, Billie debuted under her own name with the single ‘Give Me The knife’, a huge radiohit in Belgium and a classic since then.
Her first EP ‘Talking Loud’ in 2016 embraced six songs and a panoply of vibes. Coupling her rather commercial vocals with the edgy sound of producer Bert Libeert (Goose). It was a daring but diamond move.
For her new EP ‘Love Vaccination’, again producer and regular sparring partner Bert lays the tracks down with his characteristic heavy bass and kicks. Still very much inspired by eighties and nineties dance music, they stayed together in the Safari Studios in Kortrijk, where they were visited by friends that were producers, singer-songwriters and artists, like MOJOW, Nina Sampermans, Polar Youth and Amongster.
