The Cheap Thrills are a garage pop-rock band who very proudly come from Liverpool (England). The group consists of primary school friends Lewis Pike, Terry Eaves, Callum Fitzpatrick and Anton Eager.
The band has more recently been renowned for producing sonic pop songs with catchy hooks and melodies crafted and recorded in Parr Street Studios. Self-proclaimed 'Scouse' vocals meet jumpy bass lines, spacey guitars, and synths. Seeing the band live is also imperative, with The Guardian noting that “they're a blast live.” After seeing one of their live shows you will probably agree. Their latest show in Liverpool to celebrate the release of EP "Glare" was sold out to capacity and proved to be a monumental milestone in the young band’s career. "Glare" is a collection of four fast-paced, exhilarating pop tunes, that leave you whistling the hooks immediately. "Glare" was released digitally and physically on Vinyl through Eighties Vinyl Records and on cassette through Blakhand records. Rough Trade Records (London) loved the EP so much they started distributing it online and in store. The band are regulars on BBC Radio 6, Radio X, Amazing Radio and BBC Radio Merseyside.
As of 2018, the band has racked up a total of 350,000 Spotify plays and DJ John Kennedy of Radio X describes latest single "Codependence" as a "Modern day anthem".
