HENRIKES

HENRIKES is a pop project consisting of vocalist/writer Henrikes and producer/writer Märta Grauers. With takeoff in Henrikes' melodic universe in combination with Märta's creative productions and experience, they have created a melancholic, dreamy electro pop sound with influences from both emotive film music and 80's synths.

Their inspiration comes from legends such as Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Kate Bush and contemporary artists like Lykke Li, Anna of the North, BANKS, Susanne Sundfør and Kleerup. The songs tell stories in a cinematic way oscillating between darkness, hope, love and nostalgia.

After giving us a few samples of what was yet to come, with tracks such as Velodrome that ended up on Scandipops “Best New Synthpop”, Vintage Love which has been listed in the top 40 chart on Amazing Radio UK, featured in the Irish Daily Star and played on national Irish radio RTÉ 2XM and Nostalgia which aired as signature melody in the Swedish TV serie “Sofias Änglar - Den stora återföreningen”, the full debut EP from HENRIKES is finally to be released April 30th 2021.
