Brothers Tom and Pete Cuppernull have spent the last decade applying their lifelong musicianship to their music. Anden’s productions have garnered cross-genre acclaim from Pete Tong, Diplo, and Solomun, supporting their rise as NYC’s breakout house and techno act.
The duo began 2018 with BBC Radio 1 support on their genre-defying ‘Retrograde’. A million streams and several hit releases later, Anden’s ‘Void’ landed on Solomun’s iconic label DIYNAMIC. A staple in Solomun sets at the end of the year, ‘Void’ broke into numerous Top 10 Techno charts on Apple Music across South America and Europe.
But this was only the start for the brothers. In 2019, the brothers accepted invitations for guest mix duties on BBC Radio 1’s Diplo & Friends, Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy, and Toolroom Radio. After selling out multiple installments of their own Sound Room Live event series, Grum hand-picked Anden to join his long-awaited Deep State tour.
With the start of the new decade, electronic music has cemented its place as a popular genre around the world. And while there might no longer be a collective novelty among those now discovering electronic music, there certainly is one among those who have discovered Anden.
