The man behind swedish doublePark is Johan Prosell. The first album Orange Drive To Seer Street came out in 2002 and was a complete solo effort by Johan.
In 2003 After Hours was released. This time around Johan had teamed up with Lars Sköld (Tiamat) who played most of the instruments and co-wrote most of the songs. Also featured heavily is Richard Krantz (Krantz) whose unique pedal steel playing is soaring all over the album.
My Destroyer was released in 2006. If the first two albums were mainly laid back and acoustic, My Destroyer features all the traditional rock instruments plus horns and strings. Once again a solo effort by Johan with the exception of keyboard players Jonas Öijvall and Gustaf Karlöf (Niki & The Dove).
The album Clowns And Queens from 2007 has eleven tracks out of which six are duets. Among those are the two singles "Stay" featuring Erika Angell (Thus Owls) and "If I Was A Girl" featuring Jonna Lee (iamamiwhoami).
Twelve years later and it's 2019. Life got in the way but now it's time for new doublePark music to be released. Starting this spring with the single "Standing In The Corner Laughing". Out Sooooon. / doublePark April 2019
