The recipient of the Jerry Goldsmith Award and the IFMCA award, George Kallis’s scores span the globe: he has composed scores for over 30 films produced in the US, UK, Russia, Denmark, Greece, Armenia, Nigeria and India.
George was born on the island of Cyprus, at the intersection of continents and cultures. This confluence of musical traditions, along with his experience working with filmmakers around the world, has shaped his perspective and enabled his music to transcend language and borders. He studied film composition at Berklee College of Music, and he has a Masters degree in composition from The Royal College of Music.
His numerous credits include The Last Warrior trilogy, Joy Division, 93 Days, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, Highlander: The Source and the trailers for 47 Ronin, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and Into the White.
