Don Michael Jr. is diving head first into the music industry for the second time. Yes, second time. He has left behind a long resume of work under his producer/songwriter alias Traxx Trigga to resurrect his career under his birth name Don Michael Jr..
This time around, Don will come from behind the scenes to hit the main stage with an album symbolically titled “The Man Behind the Curtain”.
While building a rapport in the area a life behind the scenes spiraled quickly into a foreseeable future. Producing, engineering, and songwriting all started to pay and take him places he had never been before. During this period Don enjoyed working for artists like Red Cafe, Rick Ross, Cassie, Busta Rhymes, and Jim Jones (to name only a few), but as he grew older and his career in the industry started to unravel and become stagnant, due to no fault of his own, Don took a step back by leaving his contract and heading back home to his old stomping grounds.
He would first complete an origional project titled “Threeday", and continue with yet another project where he solely piloted all aspects of the creative assembly on a collection of work that he released as “The White Rabbit Experience” (TWRE) under the label ScrewFace. Both projects an commendable start under his new title, but as Don described the “TWRE” as more of a collection of singles, not the full story. Thus, “The Man Behind the Curtain” was born; a living musical metaphor for what makes it to the forefront.
