Based in South West, UK, singer-songwriter Samuel Jack spent his formative years living a nomadic childhood. At 12 yrs old Samuel followed his father to live in Johannesburg for two years. It was here that Samuel first took a passionate interest in music - poetically, Paul Simons' Graceland became the soundtrack to teen life the score to his time in South Africa. Coupled with his fathers love of Blues, Motown, Soul and Gospel, Samuel was inspired to build a strong relationship with roots music.
It’s impossible to ignore the raw heartfelt power in Samuel’s voice. After jamming at his local pub he was plucked to open the Avalon Stage at Glastonbury Festival. Samuel soft release EP, Let It All Out positioned straight into the UK iTunes chart, a debut met with much enthusiasm from media who proclaimed Samuel Jack to be “A unique, intelligent storyteller with a rugged soulful vocal that commands the room” (Glasswerk), and "a songwriter whose composed and sensitive piano driven melodies will tug on your heartstrings" (Songwriter magazine). His Surrender EP was championed by Graham Norton, Radio 2, BBC Introducing with strong support throughout Europe. 2018 opens with a heavy hitting new single Kill All the Lights
