The Scott brothers grew up taking huge inspiration from their father Adam Scott who played bass in Australian 90s rock band The Fools, who played alongside Aussie underground rock/punk heroes Radio Birdman, Kim Salmon, Tumbleweed and The Celibate Rifles.
This prompted The Scott Brothers to pick up instruments. Andrew started taking drum lessons from the now Gang of Youths drummer Donnie Borzestowski, and Nick followed in his dad's path picking up the bass. After Nick had moved high schools he came across a small, quiet, bleach-blonde haired kid Lachlan. After countless surfs and hangouts the boys would end up back in Andrew’s bedroom jamming and recording songs that turned into their debut EP 'Busy Doing Nothing' which they released in March of 2019. The EP is a unique blend of swirling upbeat pop melodies, mixed with gritty driving distorted guitars, exploring topics of youthfulness and anti-establishment.
