As his interest and talent grew, so did his catalog of covers. In 2005, Chris began to create his own sound, combining styles and genres from a variety of artists and regions. As both a solo musician and collaborator, he has written and performed songs ranging from singer/songwriter and rock to reggae and funk. Chris’ love of all kinds of music is reflected by the versatility in his songwriting.
In 2010, Chris formed his band, Eleventh Ward, regularly performing his original songs and popular covers at live gigs throughout New York City. Four years later in 2014, Chris and the band released a self-titled EP featuring original tracks traversing singer/songwriter, funk, reggae, and soul.
Chris’ years of writing and performing have now culminated in the release of his first solo full-length album, titled Liquid Therapy, released in February 2018. The album combines the sounds of traditional indie rock and soul, along with reggae/hip-hop/dancehall elements. Liquid Therapy explores the personal journeys and complex relationships formed under the influence of alcohol and music.
