In 2017 they released their debut record, Penrose Winoa, which was recorded in the space of five short days in the living room of Oliver's shared house using just tape recorders. The album consisted of 17 short tracks, mastered by Orchid Tapes' Warren Hildebrand (Foxes In Fiction, (Sandy) Alex G, Fog Lake, Spencer Radcliffe) and is full to the brim with freak-folk anthems, lo-fi bedroom pop and the sound of Elliott Smith summoned to a torch-lit seance.
Their sophomore album, Lossy, was released in November 2019, recorded in two sittings on tape recorders in Nicholas's home office and Oliver's living room. Much like their debut, each of the 21 tracks is a floating induction of nostalgia lasting no longer than around 3 minutes each. Depicting songs about zany topics such as sub marine life, arsenic wallpaper, 90’s computer games and cartwheels, the pair states “It’s meant to make the world appear more optimistic through ill-conceived capturings, what is essentially children’s music for adults, pop music for people who hate pop music, lo-fi for people who hate lo-fi.”
