Who are The Zods? Four young men brought together by an uncommon dream; to unite the world through powerful pop music performed with lusty inscrutability.
They fought against the hordes of homogenised heathens and melange of mass-produced muck, but their illusions were shattered, and the young men quickly aged. Over almost geological time spans their lives were touched by marriages, births, emigrations, road accidents, fire, flood, riots, death and a humiliating audition for Ray Davies. Bruised and world-weary, they had little choice but to retreat from the public’s penetrating gaze to lick their wounds and prepare for their second, or perhaps third coming. They held their shining light aloft through the mists of time, and now, emerging triumphant, that light burns bright as ever it did – a beacon of hope through the fog of musical monotony.
