Singer Juliana Cortes exhibits a captivating mix of jazz and contemporary music in her three CDs. Her work is inspired by the cold regions of southern Brazil, where the country boarders Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina. The CD INVENTO (2014) was shortlisted for the Prêmio da Música Brasileira, Brazil’s foremost musical award, with the special participation of Vitor Ramil, who is internationally recognized as one of the greatest composers of present-day Brazilian music. The CD GRIS (2016), was recorded in São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Curitiba and includes 10 original songs, mixing elaborate arrangements with free improvisation. In 2020, presents the album "3" - production musical of Ian Ramil (Grammy´16). Special guests: Pedro Luis, Airto Moreira and Rodrigo Lemos.
